As part of a last-ditch effort to try and save her battered reputation, June Shannon participated in a pair of disastrous interviews over the past week. Fans who expected apologetic candor from Shannon were disappointed to see the embattled former reality star evade questions and pass blame when asked about the Mark McDaniel sex abuse scandal . She was unable to produce the original image that TMZ had allegedly edited. This is a woman who’s been publicly accused of exposing her children to a convicted sex offender , and welcoming the man who molested her daughter back into her life. Yet given the opportunity to beg forgiveness, “Mama June” offered nothing but lies and nonsensical excuses. Thankfully, both Dr. Phil and Entertainment Tonight’s Brooke Anderson showed little tolerance for Shannon’s BS, and persisted in asking tough questions – even when Shannon offered little in the way of satisfactory responses. But while she did her best to avoid further incriminating herself, and had clearly been coached with some of her responses, Shannon still made herself appear guiltier than ever.
