Pot was found in a kid’s backpack in Menallen Elementary School, Uniontown, Pennsylviania. A father went to his son’s school to retrieve nearly four ounces of marijuana from the kindergarten’s Elmo backpack. State police say Ronald Washington, 33, called the school on Thursday morning to ask if his son had arrived at school. Police say Washington told school officials he needed to fetch something from the boy’s backpack, prompting school officials to search it. Police say school officials called to say they had found pot in the bag.
