The MPV driven by Achik (inset) in flames after it crashed into a signboard Achik’s body has been sent to the Tuanku Ja’afar Hospital for post mortem. Passers-by then helped him to get out of the car, which burst into flames minutes laters. Achik had a daughter Puteri Rania who died in 2007 after a bout of high fever. He married Rose Zaitul Suriani in 2005. Apart from singing, Achik – known for his hit Janji Kita – was involved in a publishing business with his elder brother.
