For the second time in 12 years, Carnie Wilson has undergone gastric bypass surgery. The singer underwent this lap-band procedure on January 18, she tells People , losing 30 pounds since that date and labeling the move as “the right decision” considering her weight loss struggle. “I’m doing really well so far,” Wilson says . “It’s all about taking good care of myself.” Carnie, who experienced an unexpected career boot last year thanks to a cameo in Bridesmaids , is back together with Wilson Phillips on both a new album (it drops April 3) and a new TV Guide Network reality show (it premieres April 8 and is titled Wilson Phillips: Still Holding On ).
