Texas Woman Posed As Doctor To Trick Friend Into Lesbian Relationship A Texas woman has been arrested on charges that she impersonated a doctor in a bizarre scheme to trick a friend into engaging in a lesbian love affair and becoming her life partner. According to Lufkin News : Angela Buchanan, 30, of Lufkin, Texas, has been charged with online impersonation, a Class A misdemeanor. The 51-year-old victim suffered from breast cancer. The woman pretended to be a doctor, even using the Yahoo! Messenger handle “Doc.” She suggested they begin a relationship, boasting about the health benefits of a healthy romantic life, which was sure to increase hormone production. The “Doc” went over all the woman’s medical test results, and accompanied the woman when she underwent reconstructive surgery following a mastectomy. In August, they committed their lives to each other in a civil marriage ceremony. It wasn’t until the victim’s daughter started investigating her partner that she found out she had been conned. Angela Buchanan was arrested for a Class A misdemeanor charge and stands to pay a $4,000 (€3,000) fine and spend a year in jail. This should be a book. Fifty Shades of Gay. Or a tv show on ABC, Desperate Lesbian. Or a reality show, Keeping Up With The Cancer Lies. But seriously, the victim here is clearly mentally disabled, and this woman was taking advantage of that fact. This is just nuts! Angelina County Jail
