You would think that here in the 2010s, a.k.a. The Digital Age, enough of these stories would’ve gone viral for people to keep their social media use in check. You would be very, very wrong, but you’d think. Anything you say or do online can and will become social media fodder. At least there’s a possibility of it. This Murphy’s Law of the Internet is undeniable. Time and again, people just don’t get it, though. Whether they’re tonguing the food at the restaurant where they work or having profane thoughts about others, these events inexplicably make their way online. Then other people see them. The rest is history.
