Case in point, Tekashi 6ix9ine ‘s old recording home, 10K Projects, has reportedly offered the loose-lipped rapper a new deal worth up to $10M. Yes, the same Tekashi who dropped dime on his associates with the hopes of him being able to duck a potential 47-year sentence in order to walk free with time served, if all goes to plan. According to TMZ , the Brooklyn rapper will get the loot in exchange for two albums; an English and a Spanish language project. Last week, two of Tekashi’s former Nine Trey Blood associates were found kidnapping and racketeering charges , thanks in part to Tekashi Snitch9ine dropping all the dimes. The things is, Tekashi isn’t due to be sentenced until December. The judge may not be too keen on him potentially earning major moolah off his illicit behavior. There’s also the fact that him being a federal informant puts a permanent target on his back. God forgive something goes wrong as a consequence of his dry snitching, will the label be held responsible or accountable? Nevertheless, it seems Tekashi is intent on continuing his rap career . The Hollywood Reporter shared info that Smith is overseeing the development of a new Fresh Prince of Bel-Air spinoff series. Even better? Westbrook – the new company overseen by Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith – will be handling production. The original show aired from 1990 to 1996, co-created by Quincy Jones and saw Smith rise as a magnetic personality on TV. Back then, Smith portrayed a fictionalized version of himself alongside the late James Avery (first things first, rest in peace Uncle Phil), Janet Hubert, Alfonso Ribeiro, Tatyana Ali, Karyn Parsons and more. Whew chile, where is Dapper Dan ?! Alessandro Michele, the Creative Director for Gucci, presented his Spring 2020 collection in Milan and while the clothes were well received, a certain accessory, less so. An anklet went down the runway but it wasn’t just any anklet. The anklet features “golden bullets” which are actually Gucci Beauty lipsticks; however, the design looks more like an ankle monitor or individuals on house arrest. For things to go into production, it often goes through several rounds of approval. The fact that this made it from in house to runway lets me know that there probably weren’t many (if any) Black people who were a part of the decision making process. While Gucci has promised to come up with new diversity and inclusion and even hired an exec for the position, if people of color are not placed in high levels throughout the organization, things like this happen. Gucci has been lucky it has not been damaging to the brand, especially when Black spending power reaches $1.2 trillion dollars. It may be in part because of their close relationship with Dapper Dan and celebrities like Beyoncé; however, for how long will their social currency protect them? Source: ANGELA WEISS / Getty Colin Kaepernick & Team Release Fact Check To Clear Up Rumors Colin Kaepernick hasn’t been on a football field since 2016, which feels like forever and a day go at this point. The last time he was on the field, he was playing quarterback for the 49ers, before his kneeling activism lead to him being blackballed by the NFL. Yesterday, Kap’s agent Jeff Nalley released a fact-checker in an effort to clear up any the of rumors or misleading information people have about the activist. In the letter, he points out that during his last season on the field, the 49ers landed 4th in dropped passes with 29th in pass-blocking efficiency, all while having the worst-ranked defense in the entire NFL. This letter seems to be another attempt for his agent to blast NFL teams on record, as TMZ reports Nalley has reached out to every NFL team and reportedly gotten little-to-no response. “Not a single team has offered Colin a job since the 2016 season, in which he began his peaceful protest. Not a single team has brought Colin in for a workout. Seattle brought Colin in for a visit but did not work him out. Afterward, Pete Carroll said Colin is a ‘starter in this league’. No other NFL team has interviewed or worked out Colin in the past 3 seasons, despite other false statements in the media to the contrary.” One of the rumors Nalley addressed in this letter were those circulating that Colin was demanding a specific salary, along with the longstanding rumor that he doesn’t even want to play again. His team made sure to make it clear that those allegations specifically are “completely false” and the notion Colin doesn’t want to play is just plain wrong. In fact, he says Colin has been working out 5 days a week for over three years now, and at this point, he’s just hoping to play again. He also goes on to address why Colin opted out of his 49er deal in the first place, if he’s even eligible to play again, and more. Nalley closes the letter out in a college essay fashion, pretty much laying out how he doesn’t understand the issue. “In summary, it is difficult to think of another young player in NFL history with statistics and character as impressive as Colin’s not being given an opportunity to earn a spot on an NFL roster after what he has accomplished.” At this point, it may be time to try a different approach, or for Colin, a different agent. No matter how pissed off people may be about his kneeling or his NFL settlement check, any agent with respect on their name would get a callback and a conversation, even if it’s not what they want to hear. Something has got to give because these same old tricks from 2016 clearly aren’t getting the job done and there are more than enough quarterback positions open for someone of Kaepernick’s caliber. You would think Cheeto curmudgeon would be more focused on important things–ya know, like his impending impeachment inquiry , running the country, or trying to be a decent human being–but that would be too much to ask. According to reports from TMZ , y’alls lil President was on the road having the time of his life and turning up to Prince’s “Purple Rain” in the process. As is stands, everyone is still pretty clueless how and why this would tie into his re-election campaign theme, but here we are. Most importantly; we all know Prince would have never approved of this and on top of that, this isn’t the first time he’s pulled this very move. Princes’ estate has even already told Trump they don’t want him playing any of Prince’s music, at any time, ever. “President Trump played Prince’s “Purple Rain” tonight at a campaign event in Minneapolis despite confirming a year ago that the campaign would not use Prince’s music. The Prince Estate will never give permission to President Trump to use Prince’s songs.” This marks one year to the day that Prince’s estate wrote a letter to the Cheeto-in-Chief and telling him not to play his music, and yet, he did it again. At this point, it seems like some calculated shade and pettiness is afoot. Hopefully, the legend’s estate understands now that they need to take action–not just send warnings–as we know this guy doesn’t play by the rules.
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas? Not when a bunch of MTV cameras are fixated on your every move. In the case of Thursday night’s Jersey Shore: Family Vacation episode, this meant that Jenni “JWoww” Farley had to learn that her boyfriend really does sort of suck. Immediately after meeting up with the whole group in Las Vegas on the episode, Zack Clayton Carpinello took an odd liking to Angelina. While day-drinking at a pool party, Farley made a comment about how Angelina doesn’t have sex with her fiancé, Chris, “but wants to bang everything else.” Okay then. “Yeah, what’s up with that?” Zack said to her. “Why don’t you have sex?” “I am having sex,” Angelina fired back, to which Zack replied: “Why didn’t you before?” After Angelina said they “had a little bit of a dry spell,” Zack, again, wanted to know why. He kept pressing her on this personal topic, leaving Angelina clearly annoyed. But she said it had to do with stresses related to their house. Jersey Shore Trailer Teases “All-Out War” Between Jenni and Angelina Zack still wasn’t finished sticking his nose in Angelina’s business. “When’s the last time you did it?” he asked Angelina, who answered, “Last week?” In her confessional, the reality star was rightfully pissed off. “If he comes at me sideways tonight, it’s game on, bro!” she vowed. “It ain’t happening. I’m gonna call him out and be like, ‘You have a 2-inch dick. Get the f–k out of here. You don’t know shit.’ I don’t like him.” Following an awkward dinner (at which Zack kept referring to Angelina as his “bestie” and Deena suggested everyone “squash this bullshit.”), the gang got hammered and went out to a nightclub. Early on, Angelina dirty danced on Jenni… and then leaned in and kissed both Zack and JWoww! Jenni didn’t seem to care, but she also seemed to have no idea what was going on. Jenni and her limp body eventually threw themselves on Zack who proceeded to put his hand around her neck while whispering in her ear. Within seconds, Farley was sitting on the floor, asleep with her head in between her man’s legs. She was just SO wasted, you guys. From there, Angelina began dancing by Zack’s side. He placed his arm around her lower waist/hip area and Angelina’s eyes immediately bugged out of her head — she told the camera that “his hands are big, so it was on my ass and my side.” Zack pulled Angelina in close and said, “Are we friends now?” He even grabbed her legs, prompting her to get up and start dancing next to him instead. “One minute he’s asking me about my sex life, the next minute he’s grabbing me!” Angelina said in a later confessional, adding: “He doesn’t know what boundaries are. This is gonna be a problem.” In the elevator on their way out of the venue, Zack put his arm around Jenni. He peered over at Angelina and put his other arm around her. As he leaned in, she stared straight into the camera and the episode ended. Crazy, right? Not just to viewers, but to Jenni as well. “After seeing tonight’s episode I’m pretty hurt. I feel disrespected by someone I called a friend and by someone who stated they loved me,” Farley wrote on Instagram last night. “For 5 months I was naive, probably laughed at and made into a storyline that will forever haunt me.” “My heart hurts on so many levels,” Jenni continued. “One thing I learned from tonight’s episode is know your value. Don’t ever lower your standards.” While it is currently unclear whether or not Jenni is still with Zack and Angelina is still with Chris, or if they are, for how long, one thing is clear: The women will face the drama head-on during an explosion argument in an upcoming episode. Recent episodes of Jersey Shore have been without Mike Sorrentino or Snooki, two of the series’ MVPs from day one. They had pretty solid reasons for not partying in Vegas with the rest of the crew (Snooki was pregnant; Sorrentino was in prison ), but their absences have been keenly felt at times, as the saga of Vinny’s Chippendale’s adventure has felt a bit stale at times. Fortunately, Ronnie Magro and Jenni Farley have really stepped up to the plate in recent weeks by allowing their lives to fall apart both on and off camera. Okay, in JWoww’s case that statement is a bit of an exaggeration. Sure, Jenni’s boyfriend groped Angelina Pivarnick in last night’s episode, and he generally seems like a giant douche bag, but on some level, she must have known 24 was nothing more than a rebound fling. When you’re talking Ronnie, however, it’s almost impossible to overstate how much this dude has effed up in recent weeks. In case you somehow haven’t heard, Magro was tased and arrested earlier this week following a confrontation with Jen Harley, the mother of his 1-year-old daughter. Magro stands accused of assaulting Harley and threatening her with a knife. But disappointingly, several of his Shore castmates remain vehemently Team Ronnie. Take Snooki, for example, who decided to openly victim-shame Harley during an interview with Mike on her podcast this week. Nicole attacked Jen for wearing clothing that doesn’t properly conceal her bruises in order to make a “big thing” out of the attack. Clearly, that’s some horrendous BS, and we hope others will join us in calling on Polizzi to apologize. Other Shore cast members have kept silent with regard to the attack, including Farley, who developed a friendship with Harley in recent months. In fact, she controversially reached out to Jen during the gang’s recent Vegas adventure. (Though to be fair, she was probably encouraged to do so by the show’s producers, as a whole lot of nothing was going on in Sin City.) Last week, Us Weekly caught up with Ron and asked him about the complex dynamic between the Jens and himself. Magro theorized that JWoww was so fixated on him because she had “a bunch of stuff that she just didn’t want to focus on,” meaning her divorce from Roger Mathews . “You get to a place in your life where you can’t control what other people do. It’s about how you react,” Ronnie told the tabloid. “So, at that point in my life, I knew that Jenny was going through s–t. When you’re going through stuff, you’re going to deflect,” he added. “You’re going to try to push everything away from you as much as you can. She was going through a divorce, she’s got a new boyfriend, her son,” he went on. “So what’s the best thing to do? Deflect — and I’ve done it. We’ve all done it! But you see it, you know, and it’s like, it is what it is.” Asked about the future of his friendship with Farley, Ronnie continued: “If you’ve seen me and Jenni throughout the years, me and her go at it. We’re brother and sister! But we love each other. “We just want the best for each other at the end of the day. It’s not ‘cause we want to be spiteful. We really do just want the best.” Yep, sounds like the folks at Us received a dose of the new and improved sober Ron. The only problem is, just hours later, he was allegedly doing coke and assaulting his girlfriend. What would keep the recently divorced Alexis from accepting a massive Housewives paycheck? Tamra Judge, apparently. Alexis just can't stand her, and the report explains exactly why. 1. Grey’s Anatomy staged a Charmed reunion Thursday night, bringing Holly Marie Combs and Alyssa Milano back together to share the screen. The pair played sisters Haylee and Heidi of a young woman named Heather, who was left brain-dead following a harrowing fall at a construction site. While initially in denial about the diagnosis, Richard carried out one last test to give the ladies the closest thing to peace of mind he could. But in true Grey’s Anatomy fashion, there was some drama thrown in for good measure. Haylee brought crystals along with her because she was under the assumption that she could heal her sister. Heidi figured it was best to say her goodbyes, and be done with it, but the two sisters couldn’t help arguing because of their distinctly different views on the matter. Richard had enough and yelled at the two of them to make the decision together, or they would remember this moment for the rest of their lives. When they agreed that their sister was gone, and Richard switched off her life support machine, Heather’s phone rang. In a true twist of fate, it turned out that the woman they pulled the plug on was not Heather. Heather’s phone was stolen, leading everyone to believe the brain-dead woman was her. Yes, really. Richard had a truly horrible a day as a result and tried to get back in contact with Catherine to check in on her. But she didn’t answer. That pushed Richard to hang out with Gemma, aka the woman he helped save last season. They went to dinner! Over at Grey Sloan, Maggie was still cut up about the way Jackson treated her. ICYMI: He went missing and returned with a new girlfriend. Maggie was struggling to move on, but a new patient named Bertie was determined to help her see the light that everything happens for a reason. Things got worse when Jackson’s new bae showed up at the hospital for treatment, and Jackson wasted no time in showing off his surgical skills. This was all too much for Maggie, primarily because of how quickly this new relationship was moving. Vic tries to speak to Maggie, but it resulted in the most awkward scene to date. Elsewhere, Jo started her first week as a resident, and Dahlia made her feelings clear that she was not happy about performing an ALPPS surgery with anyone other than Meredith Grey. Heck, Jo felt scared and managed to get Bailey to agree to let Mer be her eyes in the sky, thanks to video chat. The surgery was a success, all thanks to Jo, but Dahlia was furious that many of the interns came to the hospital because of Meredith, and now they were treating her like a distant memory. The reality show couple are living in luxury in a penthouse apartment in Northern New Jersey where penthouses like theirs can top out at nearly $10,000 a month. Their new building comes with all the bells and whistles befitting a reality star, like a media room, bowling alley, infinity pool, two acres of gardens, a spa and a karaoke bar – all with wall-to-wall views of nearby New York City. Their penthouse on the 47th floor has amenities including an open floor plan, nine-foot ceilings and solar sun sheds to shield their lives from prying eyes. Their kitchen boasts European cabinetry, stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops. It’s not clear how long the lovebirds have lived in the place. The IRS listed Safaree’s penthouse on a $35,166 lien they hit him with last month. The “Hunnid” artist has not responded to the lien as of Oct. 10.
