Source: Bread Winners Association / BWA Kevin Gates Banned From All Louisiana Prisons Over Viral Photo Kevin Gates has been staying low-key while working ever since he was released from prison over a year ago. The rapper has been busy touring and recording, even dropping a new album just last week. So when reports surfaced that the Department of Public Safety and Corrections launched an internal investigation into some of his activities, everyone was left puzzled. Soon after, the reason why was revealed to be over a viral photo he posted to his very own Instagram. The photo in question was taken back in July during a visit to see his father at Elayn Hunt in Louisiana. The picture even had the location tagged, but that still wasn’t the issue. The problem is that one picture out of the series of photos featured Gates sitting with inmates–including incarcerated rapper C-Murder –flashing a handful of crisp hundred dollar bills to cover his face. If you’re wondering why just imagine an inmate behind bars with thousands of dollars and what people would do to take that money. As of now, there’s no word on whether or not Gates actually gave any of that money away, but that doesn’t matter, according to the state corrections department. Not only was the rapper held accountable, however, so were the employees according to The Advocate . A DOC report dated July 24, 2019, found that Deputy Warden Perry Stagg and Major Jason Linzy, both of whom oversaw Gates’ visit, deviated from standard institutional policies, resulting in multiple rule violations. The report says Stagg met Gates when he arrived at the facility and Linzy supervised the visit when the pictures were taken.In addition to bypassing body scanners, Gates was allowed to drive his car through the front gates without being searched, investigators found. And while Stagg was escorting him, Gates avoided the visiting office and never had to sign the visitor’s log acknowledging he understood facility rules. To make matters even more serious, the internal investigation found no verifiable family member of his to be in custody of the facility. Essentially, Gates was allowed access straight from his house into the prison with no record, no check-in, or any procedure followed . Nor was his previous criminal history disclosed. Because of this incident, one officer was removed and demoted and another received a written discipline. As for Gates, he’s not allowed inside a Louisiana jail ever again . Even if he gets arrested, it’s more than likely that he would serve time elsewhere as a result. Hannah Gosselin’s eldest, twins Mady and Cara, have left for college and are breathing free air for the first times in their lives. While Kate tries to elicit sympathy by mourning Hannah’s absence from family trips, she has another bone to pick. Kate says that the world has been so unfair to her family. Girl, go look in a mirror. Kate Gosselin took to Instagram to share a photo of her eldest daughters. “I love these kids fiercely,” Kate writes, referring specifically to Mady and Cara. “And,” she adds. “I don’t apologize for my tears.” “Times have been so tough,” Kate complains. “And,” she notes. “So needlessly unfair for them.” Awwww, they’re all grown up! Well, you know, they’re adults. “Grown up” seems to start around 30 and it is not as fun as it sounds. “Despite it all,” Kate continues. “They’ve turned out to be such wonderful amazing human beings.” “I cannot wait to see what lies ahead for each of them,” she expresses. Kate looks forward to seeing their progress “once they get away from those who have tried to destroy them versus protect them!” Naturally, she also plugs her show, Kate Plus 8 . Back in May, Mady opened up about how much she and Cara are looking forward to college. “College feels like a place to blend in,” Mady expressed. She continued: “and I feel like we haven’t really had much of a chance to really blend in.” “And,” she stated. “I want to be just like somebody.” You know that you’ve had quite the childhood when your firmest wish for your university experience is anonymity . “I don’t want to know everybody’s name,” Mady continued. She added: “and I don’t want to know everybody’s business.” “And I don’t want everyone to know my name and my business,” Mady emphasized. She’s not quite saying that she doesn’t want to make any friends. It sounds more like she wants to blend into the crowd. “I feel like big college is the way we want to go,” she concluded. “She was not able to come and that’s sad,” Kate said in a recent clip to explain why Hannah was not joining a “family” trip. Kate accused: “That’s the second trip here actually for us that she hasn’t been with us.” “It was sad for us because you know, they’re getting older and they’re making different choices and they’re doing different things,” she said. Kate continued: “And she opted to stay back with her dad, which again, you know, her choice.” “It’s not optimal for mom,” she admitted. “But it’s something that I support and you know, we just adjust and move on.” So what does Kate mean when she says that her two eldest daughters have faced so much unfairness? Does she mean that it’s unfair to be thrust into reality stardom as a child because your parents are thirsty for fame? Does she mean that no child deserves to grow up in an abusive household ? Or does Kate mean that two children would have been enough, and she robbed her eldest twins of any hope of a normal life by having six more? All of these are great point. But because Kate is the culprit in each case, we strongly doubt that this is her meaning. We wish Mady and Cara the very best at their (undisclosed) universities! Source: Pool / Getty R. Kelly will at least be in jail until his 2020 trial after an attempt to go free on bail was shot down by a Brooklyn federal judge on Wednesday (October 2). The troubled R&B star’s legal team filed a motion on Monda y (September 30) stating that Kelly was in poor financial shape and not a flight risk but the judge in the case detected a bit of b.s. in the air. As reported by the New York Daily News , Federal Justice Ann M. Donnelly sided with the prosecution’s assessment that Kelly was indeed a flight risk and that home detention was too lenient a move considering the mountain of charges he faces and an alleged history of obstructing justice in his favor. Kelly’s defense attorney Steven Greenberg has said several times in court that his client is cash-strapped and suffering from alleged health woes. Adding to that, Kelly is only allowed one visitor at a time which has caused a bottleneck of visitation between his two girlfriends, Azriel Clary and Joycelyn Savage. The prosecution presented bail hearing charges that Kelly has been hiding massive royalty checks numbering to an amount near to $1 million and funneling the funds through the bank account of a childhood friend. It appears as though the Travis and Kylie breakup has quickly gone from cordial split and a need for space to some real vindictive ish going on. That’s because E! News is reporting that Kylie quickly turned her new single hood into a late-night rendezvous with ex-overaged lover Tyga: A source tells E! News that the former couple met up late Tuesday night, after Kylie and her friends, Stassie and Kelsey, enjoyed a late night bite at the Hollywood hot spot Delilah. “Kylie wanted to have a girls’ night out last night and Stassie thought it would be best to get her out of the house and her mind off the news,” a source explains. “He was with a few of their mutual friends at Sunset Marquis and invited Kylie and her girlfriends to come hangout, since they were already out.” The insider does add that Kylie and Tyga “have been in touch” since their split in 2017, but says they “don’t talk often.” This is getting quite petty and Twitter had ALL the comedy. Throughout the bizarre ordeal of his never-ending legal troubles, it’s been widely assumed that Tekashi69 plans to enter witness protection the moment he’s released from prison. After all, Tekashi’s freedom comes at a steep price, as his sentence is likely to be dramatically reduced as a result of his decision to testify against members of the Nine Trey Bloods gang , of which he was formerly a member. You don’t need to be studied up on the Nine Treys’ bylaws to know that snitching is not something they look kindly on. For weeks, Twitter has delighted in memes about Tekashi — whose real name is Daniel Hernandez — covering his facial tattoos in concealer and disappearing in rural Arkansas. But shockingly, it seems the rapper has no intention of attempting a disappearing act. In fact, it looks as though Mr. 69 is planning to resume his life in the spotlight as soon as he’s sprung from federal prison. According to a new report from TMZ, “Tekashi believes him testifying against his old crew will be forgotten almost instantly as soon as he’s released from prison — and he also thinks he’ll be more popular than ever with the masses.” Yes, in what may well turn out to be a fatally bad idea, Tekashi is not just refusing to hide from his former gangmates, he’s openly taunting them. “He thinks that anyone in the rap game who’s spoken ill of him since this whole legal ordeal began are not only envious, but threatened by him … afraid that he’ll pass ’em up and leave ’em in the dust when he gets out and starts making hits again,” TMZ reports. Mind you, this is the same gang that already kidnapped Tekashi and threatened to kill him once. And that was before he took the stand against them. In exchange for a much lighter sentence (at one point, it looked like he might remain behind bars for the rest of his life) Hernandez provided two days testified in the trial of Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack and Anthony “Harv” Ellison last month. Not only did he identify Mack and Ellison as members of the Nine Treys, Tekashi also claimed that rapper Cardi B was a member of the gang . Sounds like the makings of a Hollywood movie, right? Well, apparently that’s what 50 Cent thought, too. According to the latest from TMZ, 50 has purchased the rights to 69’s story with plans to turn it into a feature film. So we guess that’s good news for Tekashi. We just wish he weren’t in such a hurry to write an ending to his life story.
Mackenzie McKee has made it official. No, she will not be getting back together with her husband of six years. Because, yes , she has filed for divorce from Josh, the father of her three children. The reality TV star announced the news herself on Monday, jumping on Instagram with a photo of her dogs — and telling one fan in the Comments section that her weight loss was due to “divorce stress.” As far as we know, this is the first time Mackenzie has dropped the “D” word in regard to her and Josh. When the Teen Mom star confirmed that her marriage was in trouble about two months ago, she simply said she and Josh were separating . “I would like to say, that due to stress, me needing to stay focused, the media, etc. I am deciding my marriage needs a break,” Mackenzie Tweeted on Friday, August 16, adding in this message: “My heart breaks for my kids. But as of right now, this is what’s best. Thank you.” The couple got married in August of 2013 and share three kids — Gannon, 7, Jamie, 5, and Broncs, 3. But they’ve been experiencing some difficult times for awhile, as highlighted this summer on the season premiere of Teen Mom OG. The episode focused on rumors that Josh had cheated on Mackenzie while out on the road for a rodeo. He denied this allegation, but Mackenzie later watched the development play out on air and referred to Josh as a horrible person after actually watching his actions on MTV. “Turns out, Josh is not a good man whatsoever,” the Teen Mom OG told Us Weekly in late August. “Watching the show and catching him in lies, seeing how independent he is, I realize I deserve better.” Mackenzie went on to slam Josh to this tabloid as follows: “I have fought for this marriage for many years, and lately, I’ve really opened my eyes to what a horrible person he is.” It doesn’t get much more straightforward than that — except that McKee has sort of backed off these comments in the days since. She has told fans that she and Josh actually still live together, adding: “Me and Josh do love one another, that will never change. God will guide me where I belong and I’m trusting in him right now and focusing on being there for my mom.” Are they actually getting along these days? It does sound that way. “Me and Josh are friends and are on good terms,” she said in an interview The Ashley’s Reality Roundup. “I’m still taking this time for myself. I’m doing counseling, just so an outside eye looking in can give me guidance. I just had so much piling up all at once, I just need time and structure.” The MTV personality has since confessed that she and Josh are both cheaters — so, hey, at least they have that in common! Tekashi’s alleged kidnapper has issued a statement in which the man claims the entire act was staged. In an exclusive statement given to Complex , Anthony “Harv” Ellison and his legal team presented their side of what took place. This comes in the wake of testimony from Tekashi, born Daniel Hernandez, the rapper’s driver Jorge Rivera, and others who were involved or adjacent to the incident. From Complex : “Danny didn’t care if the stunt could be taken as embarrassing, he thought it was believable. He said it would even make some people feel bad for him, which was good after all the trolling he had done.
