Brad Pitt may look like the perfect male specimen. But the actor has admitted in a revealing new interview that he’s anything but the perfect human being. In a wide-ranging discussion with The New York Times, the 55-year-old actor told the publication that he sought important personal help after Angela Jolie filed for divorce in September 2016. Meaning what, exactly? He entered Alcoholics Anonymous for a year and a half. “I had taken things as far as I could take it, so I removed my drinking privileges,” Pitt says, adding in this feature: “You had all these men sitting around being open and honest in a way I have never heard. It was this safe space where there was little judgment, and therefore little judgment of yourself.” To be clear, Pitt never uses the word alcoholic in this interview. But we’ve never known anyone to enter AA who didn’t confess to having this sort of major problem with drinking. Despite his fame, Pitt told the newspaper no one in the group sold his story to tabloids. “It was actually really freeing just to expose the ugly sides of yourself,” he says. “There’s great value in that.” For several weeks after Jolie filed to end her marriage three years ago, rumors spread about Pitt’s substance abuse. He was even accused of getting physical with his oldest son on board a private plane, presumably, in part, because he was drunk. While the FBI looked into this allegation and never charged Pitt with a crime, the star did talk openly in May 2017 about drinking too much . “I was boozing too much,” Pitt told GQ back then. “It’s just become a problem. And I’m really happy it’s been half a year now, which is bittersweet, but I’ve got my feelings in my fingertips again.” The actor even joked — although it wasn’t really a joke — that he was a “professional” drinking during this previous interview. Elsewhere in this Times article, Pitt acknowledges having gone through a lot with his family, never mentioning Jolie by name, “The fact is, we all carry pain, grief and loss. We spend most of our time hiding it, but it’s there, it’s in you,” he explains. Pitt and Jolie reached a custody agreement in late 2018 following a lengthy legal battle. While the two “have joint physical and legal custody of the children,” Maddox is free to make his own decisions due to his age, an insider told Us Weekly at the time. Sources have said that Pitt rarely see any of his six kids, but perhaps this will change along with his new perspective. “In the ’90s, all that attention really threw me. It was really uncomfortable for me, the cacophony of expectations and judgments,” he admits now. “I really became a bit of a hermit and just bonged myself into oblivion.” Now, however? Pitt appreciates the necessity of vulnerability and identifying your own weaknesses. “I’m grateful that there was such an emphasis on being capable and doing things on your own with humility, but what’s lacking about that is taking inventory of yourself,” he says. “It’s almost a denial of this other part of you that is weak and goes through self-doubts, even though those are human things we all experience. “Certainly, it’s my belief that you can’t really know yourself until you identify and accept those things.” That’s great and all — but is he getting back together with Jennifer Aniston or what?!? Linda Hamilton is an absolute legend. This month, she will turn 63, but she is returning to the big screen to reprise her iconic role as Sarah Conner in Terminator: Dark Fate . But she has no revealed something very surprising: she has not had sex in 15 years. Linda Hamilton sat down with The New York Times for an interview about returning to the film industry — and what her life has been like. And she dropped a bombshell that startled fans. This is not what you expect from a gorgeous, rich celebrity actress. “I’ve been celibate for at least 15 years,” Linda reveals. “One loses track,” she says. “Because it just doesn’t matter.” “Or at least,” Linda adds. “It doesn’t matter to me.” Linda doesn’t want people getting the wrong idea — she lives a very fulfilling life. “I have a very romantic relationship with my world every day,” Linda affirms. “And,” she adds, with “the people who are in it.” In other words, she can have meaningful relationships and experience happiness and contentment. She doesn’t need somebody blowing her back out to do that. James Cameron is Linda’s ex-husband, so the idea of going back to work with him was probably already awkward enough. She reveals that it was about six weeks between when the offer was extended and when she agreed to sign on. “I woke up one day and I was like, ‘Well, here I am in my beautiful mansion and my kids aren’t here, my agents aren’t calling, and this is not real,” Linda recalls. She explains: “I love my alone time like no one you’ve ever met.” First of all, Linda’s line about loving her alone time is incredibly relatable. That’s right up there with Whoopi Goldberg’s famous explanation for not getting married: “I don’t want somebody in my house.” It’s important to remember that not everyone is motivated by the same desires. Some people are asexual and may only have sex with those whom they love, if at all. Some people see food as an act of refueling, nothing more. And of course, some people simply lose whatever sex drive they had over time, or become content to satisfy themselves. Linda Hamilton’s sex life is her business. Truth be told, I couldn’t guess why she decided to share it with the world. Maybe she’s almost 63 and just doesn’t give a f–k what anybody thinks. That attitude starts when you hit 30 and it only ripens with age. Maybe she wanted others to know that it’s 100% okay for them to not have a sex life for its own sake. Halsey decided to be white for this boring photoshoot for Cosmopolitan magazine. My opinion is that these low level talentless piles of shit, who understand the importance of sucking DJ dick, laying the vocal on some lame fucking track all the kids will be into cuz they have no taste….as well as online marketing…to establish themselves….don’t deserve to be pandered to, or to be the voice of a generation, but they think they are, and the media follows them….leading to Halsey thinking she’s got a voice and influence, and she propbably does, but definitely shouldn’t. There is nothing likeable about her, except maybe her fake tits, and even then they don’t impress me, anyone with 5k can get fake tits… She plays black, or raped, or a drug addict when it is convenient and I am sure she believes her own bullshit, but that doesn’t mean we need to. I also saw pics of her snorting lines or bumps of something a while ago, and that is when I thought she should be cancelled, fired, retired, forgotten, but instead it made her more legit to people and helped her build more brand deals and hype cuz all the kids snort drugs so she’s just being real…when NOTHING about her is real…not even her tits.
