Jill Duggar is speaking out about something that was most likely an unpopular topic in the conservative Duggar household growing up. But, the Counting On star is encouraging women to leave their husbands… if he is abusive. While it seems like a pretty obvious solution, leaving an abusive relationship can be extremely hard. But Jill is here to let you know that it can be done. The 28-year-old recently revealed that her friend just got out of a life-threatening relationship with her spouse, and now she is advocating for all domestic violence victims . Jill was quick to act and immediately posted about the situation on her Instagram stories, sharing statistics and resources for all out there who need help. The series of photos read: “A friend of mine recently shared on social media her story as a victim of abuse,” she wrote. “Thankfuly, she is out of the harmful relationship alive.” “Did you know? 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men have experienced some form of physical violence by an intimate partner,” she added, and in some cases, they are not considered “domestic violence.” Jill then posted a screengrab from the Instagram account “Understanding the Narc” which offered a checklist to help people identify certain qualities in their partner, guiding them to whether or not he/she is a sociopath. While this may be reminding you of popular Hollywood thrillers, such as “Gone Girl”, this is real. This happens. And it is heartbreaking. Jill, fortunately, took this chance to directly address her followers, telling them, “Don’t turn a blind eye!” and “Support those who need help around you.” She continued to post statistics from the NCADV and phone numbers for victims to call, she even shared an article called, “Why Do Victims Stay?” In the article, the organization explains why many victims stay, one of the more popular reasons being that women from patriarchial faiths and families often stay due to outdated gender roles and not believing in divorce. Jill’s call to action may seem out of place, as her family members are firm nonbelievers of divorce and definitely have outdated ideas on gender roles . They also don’t believe in mental illnesses or personality disorders… instead of turning to therapy or medication, the Duggar clan relies on prayer and home remedies. But the fact that Jill is willing to recommend divorce and safety to women of violence is very telling. Perhaps, this Duggar is finally seeing the light of day ? For years, 90 Day Fiance star Nicole Nafziger has endured being slammed by her own fans and second-guessed by her family. Now, she’s putting her foot down. After the latest postponement of her wedding to Azan, Nicole is going off on any and all fans who think they’re entitled to give her advice. This week, Nicole finally put her foot down in a lengthy and furious letter posted to Instagram. “Can y’all just get off my back?” Nicole wrote in her Instagram Stories. She’s been getting advice that she doesn’t want, and her patience is wearing thin. “I don’t want to hear any ‘well if you just’ or ‘if only you would’ …” she explained. Nicole was adamant: “I DO NOT want your advice.” “If you feel the need to message me about your concerns,” Nicole instructed. “DON’T.” She expressed: “I am soooooooo tired of y’all saying the SAME THING, over and over and over.” “You are the first who is trying to tell me how it is,” Nicole continued, possibly leaving out a word by accident (we all do it). She then goes off on a slight tangent to address an odd rumor that had been floating around. Was Nicole really running the Instagram account that has been attributed to Azan? “Also,” Nicole wrote. “I barely have enough time to keep up with my own account.” She continued: “I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT have time to make a fake account of the man I’m seeing.” She is a working single mom and a reality star. Azan may not use his Instagram often, but we see no reason to believe that he’s not the one running the account. Nicole still had more to say, however, and this time it was on a topic even more personal and sensitive than her fiance. “As much as you want to talk about me and my ‘mental health,'” Nicole wrote furiously. “I am not crazy!” she asserted. “And,” Nicole continued. “[I] don’t have time for this crap!” She then instructed her fans and critics alike to “GET A LIFE!!!!!” Just for the record, it is 100% normal for fans of a reality show to become invested in the lives and happiness of the stars. Humans are social animals. Anyone else ever catch themselves worrying about a stranger’s story they read on social media months before? I do. “Because I have one,” Nicole asserted, referring to the “life” that her followes need to get. “And,” she continued. “Y’all are the ones who literally need to MOVE ON.” She then reminds them that she’s not currently on 90 Day Fiance . “The season is over,” Nicole pointed out. She concluded her furious rant: “That is all.” There’s a fine line between concerned commenting and concern-trolling. Certainly, not all criticisms or pieces of “advice” thrown Nicole’s way have been in any way valid. But when people point out that they can easily send money out of Morocco despite Azan’s claims that Morocco doesn’t allow money to sent out, maybe she should listen. It’s probably no coincidence that Nicole is feeling defensive over her controversial, long-term relationship. For months this year, she said that she wanted to head out to Morocco before time for May to start school. Well, May starts school next week, meaning that her wedding plans have been delayed even further. Whatever we may think of Nicole’s relationship with Azan, we’ll say this: if she won’t listen to her own family, what makes her fans think that she’ll listen to strangers? According to a brand new report, congratulations may be in order for Jennifer Garner and Bradley Cooper. Because they’ve landed exciting new movie roles that may even spark some Academy Award speculation for both the actress and the actor? Nope: because they are allegedly expecting a baby… … with each other! This wild rumor may truly be nothing more than a wild rumor, but it still has grabbed our attention due to the mere possibility of Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Garner procreating. According to a website called Celebrity Hush, the superstars are “spending time together.” This site quotes the International Business Times, which writes: “Earlier this month, Garner was spotted stopping by at Cooper’s house in Los Angeles… the visit was a “secret date” [and] there [is] a “blossoming romance between the two.” An anonymous insider went on to tell this less-than-reliable outlet that “it would not be surprising if Garner and Cooper were finally taking their friendship to the next level.” As for the part about Garner being pregnant with Cooper’s baby? That’s simply mentioned in this so-called report. Not exactly a iron-clad evidence here that Jennifer and Bradley are any kind of item, let alone that they engaged in unprotected sex that will lead to the birth of a little boy or girl within the next nine months. But here’s the thing: Garner and Cooper starred together on the ABC drama Alias and remain friendly to this day. Cooper had been linked to fellow A Star is Born lead Lady Gaga , but she’s now dating some dude named Dan Horton . Garner, meanwhile, is officially divorced from Ben Affleck and rumored to be in a relationship with some civilian named John Miller . She also has three kids (Violet, Samuel, and Seraphina) and is 47 years old and it just feels like a stretch to think she would want to be a mother again at this point in her life. Do we know for a fact that she’s done having babies? No, of course not. Garner does seem to positively adore motherhood, having stepped largely away from Hollywood for many years to raise these children. She and Cooper also may not have planned on getting pregnant, but even celebrities can make mistakes, you know? Not that we’re claiming here that a baby in and of itself is ever a “mistake,” just that not all pregnancies are planned, that’s all. Anyway, the general point and the main takeaway is that we highly doubt Cooper and Garner are dating or having a child together and you should not believe everything you read on the Internet.
We probably don’t need to tell you that there’s nothing normal about our current political climate. Regardless of where you may have planted yourself on the ideological spectrum, you’ve likely experienced an increase in politically-charged animosity in recent years, maybe even including a strained personal relationship or two. Yes, in 2019 it seems the tendrils of political discourse have crept into every aspect of our lives, which is how we end up with heated feuds between people who rarely talk about politics because they’re smart (in this case, Taylor Swift), and people who shouldn’t talk about politics because they’re dumb (his name is Kiiiiiiiiid … Kid Rock!) We guess “feud” isn’t exactly the right word for this situation, since at this point it’s just a middle-aged weirdo with a heavy Busch Light buzz shouting at a twentysomething A-lister who probably couldn’t care less. Anyway, the 48-year-old man who unironically refers to himself as “Kid” took a random shot at Taylor on Twitter today: “Taylor Swift wants to be a democrat because she wants to be in movies….period,” wrote Kid Rock, apropos of nothing. “And it looks like she will suck the door knob off Hollyweird to get there. Oldest move in the book. Good luck girl.” In case there was any doubt that he stands by his words, Mr. Rock helpfully signed the tweet, “Kid Rock”. It’s anyone’s guess what’s going on in Kid Rock’s head, a place where the top porno flicks of 1993 play on a constant loop behind a haze of thick Marlboro Red smoke, but it seems his comments were inspired by Taylor’s interview in the September issue of Vogue , which dropped on Thursday. Swift famously kept mum during the 2016 election, leading some to theorize that she was a secret Trump supporter. She clarified her stance in the Vogue piece, saying: “Unfortunately in the 2016 election you had a political opponent who was weaponizing the idea of the celebrity endorsement. “He was going around saying, I’m a man of the people. I’m for you. I care about you.’ I just knew I wasn’t going to help.” Recalling the state of her own reputation in 2016, Swift added: “Also, you know, the summer before that election, all people were saying was, ‘She’s calculated. She’s manipulative. She’s not what she seems. She’s a snake. She’s a liar.’ “These are the same exact insults people were hurling at Hillary. Would I be an endorsement or would I be a liability? ‘Look, snakes of a feather flock together. Look, the two lying women. The two nasty women.'” If Taylor’s remarks contained anything that could be reasonably described as an attack on Trump, it was a very, very mild one. But apparently, it was enough to trigger Kid Rock who was so upset that he was unable to stick to politics and felt the need to crudely suggest Taylor exchanges sexual favors for movie roles. The tweet is absurd for a number of reasons, not the least of which is that this man-baby has found a way to force the internet to pay attention to him for a few hours. On top of that, does Kid really think Taylor has trouble finding work. No, even Kid Rock isn’t that stupid — he’s just acting out to try and please he Daddy Donnie. As you probably know Rock is a massive Trump supporter and even earned an invite to the White House in 2017. His sudden interest in politics is all part of the former Detroit rapper’s effort to rebrand himself as a Southern Good Ol’ Boy. It’s shamefully transparent theater, which is why Mr. Rock occasionally needs to ramp up his efforts and go on the offensive. Thankfully, most everyone sees this routine for what it is, including Twitter’s own roast queen, Chrissy Teigen: “you’re pathetic. – Chrissy Teigen,” she tweeted in imitation of Rock’s hilariously clueless format. In the replies, many have pointed out that Teigen is close friends with Kim Kardashian and Kim is still feuding with Taylor . That may be true, but some things are bigger than celebrity beefs. Now she’s publicly dating a star of a very successful reality series. Raiven wrote that these stalkers “have found my ex who was a female,” “I have fought for my peace of mind in my sexuality, and in my life,” Raiven affirmed. “I’m proud of myself for loving myself, in every aspect of life.” “Come for me about my overalls, Come for me about my teeth, my height whatever you want,” she added. “But I ask you please let my sexuality be.” “Let my ex be don’t stir a pot that doesn’t belong to you,” Raiven suggested. “Let her be she doesn’t deserve the drama.” Many suspect that Raiven’s ex-girlfriend is the one who has been shopping news of her existence to the tabloids. “We split due to being together at a young age,” Raiven explained. “And not being ready for a relationship.” “Not being right for one another, we haven’t been together for almost 3 years,” she shared. That’s two-and-a-half years before she and Bear began dating. “I am with Bear!” Raiven happily affirmed. “I am happy and he is what I want every day of my life.” “My past is my past judge me for whatever you want,” Raiven wrote. “But don’t do it like this.” She then cited Bella Thorne coming out as pansexual by quoting the young actress’ words. “In the words of @bellathorne,” Raiven wrote. “‘Somebody explained to me really thoroughly what that is. An insider claims that Bear’s parents in particular felt “blindsided” by the news of her ex-girlfriend. The source added that the family currently “slightly suspicious of Raiven” on the grounds that she had not been more forthright with them. The insider reported that the Browns “are honestly a bit bothered right now.” “They are both very religious,” the source noted. “And the fact that she did not tell Bear she was gay at one point in her life really irritated them.” We hope that we do not have to explain that ” gay at one point ” is not what pansexuality is or even close to how sexuality works. The claim that Bear’s family resents Raiven over her sexuality doesn’t sound quite right to us. First of all, when Raiven posted on Instagram, it was immediately “liked” by an avalanche of people — including Rain Brown. Rain is a good person and has been vocally supportive of the LGBTQ+ community (while quietly side-stepping gay rumors) for years. So it’s no surprise that she was supportive of Raiven’s beautiful message. No matter their personal religious beliefs, we can’t imagine the Browns condemning a young woman for not coming out when they first met. And now we know that the reports of tensions and unease are just a load of malarkey. We checked with what Bear had to say, and on Friday afternoon, Bear took to Instagram to make an announcement. “Hey everyone!” Bear writes. “I just wanted to clarify to my fans and to all the fans of our show!” “That Raiven has been completely honest with me and my family the whole time I’ve known her!” he emphasized. “She started out as my best friend!” Bear shares. “And our relationship grew from there!” “My Mom Dad and whole family think the world of her,” Bear reveals. “She is quickly becoming a part of the Wolfpack!” “Raiven is the most beautiful woman I’ve ever met!” he praises. “Both on the inside and the outside! She has a heart of gold!” “Also the way my parents taught me and the most important rule of Alaska,” Bear notes. “Is to never judge anyone or tell anyone else how they should live!” “Raiven holds my heart in her hands!” Bear concludes. Swift chose to reveal some lyrics from a track with Vogue in her September cover story, which was released on Thursday, August 8, and swifties are losing it because they think she’s hinting at an engagement . The lyrics of question read: “My heart’s been borrowed and yours has been blue. All’s well that ends well to end up with you.” Any Pinterest user out there knows that this is a reference to the classic wedding tradition of wearing something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue. Fans immediately took to social media to converse over this newfound development. “my heart’s been borrowed and yours has been blue” is a reference to an engagement…. ya tuhanku…. TAYLOR SWIFT IS ENGAGED IM CRYING,” wrote one user. Somehow, Tom Cruise still lands roles in big-budget Hollywood movies. It’s surprising because we live in a time in which celebrities get “canceled” over poorly-phrased jokes, and yet Cruise still has a career despite multiple decades as the poster boy for a global cult that’s been accused of human trafficking and using slave labor. We suppose in a profoundly warped way, Cruise’s commitment to Scientology is admirable. After all, the religion has cost him just about everything except his career, and yet he still clings to it. Cruise reportedly hasn’t seen his daughter Suri in over four years as a result of his ties to the Church. Insiders say Tom is been convinced that Suri isn’t really his daughter — but not in the literal sense. He’s well aware that he’s the girl’s biological father, but he’s reportedly been convinced by top Scientology brass that as a “suppressive person” she’s not his child in the spiritual sense. It’s a sad situation for Suri, but at least she’s not trapped in the CoS or caught in the middle of a bitter legal battle between her parents. The same can’t be said of Isabella and Connor Cruise, Tom’s children from his marriage to Nicole Kidman, Though they’re both adults at this point — Isabella is 26, Connor 24 — Kidman is reportedly deeply concerned about her children’s future. And she feels their only chance at a normal is getting as far away from Tom and the Scientology leadership as possible. Isabella is currently being groomed to assume her father’s role as the face of the Church. But the passing of the torch comes at an awkward time. David Miscavige and other top brass within the faith are currently being bombarded with a slew of lawsuits. (Former Scientologists and their families timed the suits in order to deplete the Church’s legal resources.) Nicole reportedly sees this as her window of opportunity, and she’s hoping to intercede on her kids’ behalf before it’s too late. Rumors that Isabella is pregnant with her first child have led Kidman to the conclusion that there’s no time to waste, and it seems her plan is to create enough legal headaches for CoS leaders that they’ll want to distance themselves from the Cruise kids. “Things are getting hot for Scientology with court cases that threaten to blow the organization wide open,” a source close to the situation tells Radar Online. “And if that happens, she wants Connor and Isabella — and this potential grandchild — to be out of harm’s way.” “Those kids have grown up without choices,” former Scientologist Sam Domingo tells Radar. “They’re being used as leverage for the church and it’s not right.” Domingo, who grew up in the Church and broke free as an adult, says Tom and Nicole’s kids were groomed for leadership roles from early childhood. “Tom Cruise’s kids have grown up in an alien world. Source: 2K / NBA 2K20 NBA Live took the big step of integrating the WNBA and its superstars into the game two years ago. Many began to wonder if the NBA 2K franchise would eventually follow suit. That question has been answered today (August 8), 2K revealed that all 12 WNBA teams and its superstars will be in the NBA 2K20 . With NBA Live 20 pushed all the way back , NBA 2K20 picked up the ball dropped by EA. In the developer video introducing the WNBA to 2K, we see Candace Parker, and Breanna Stewart getting their motion capture on. In the 1:47 clip we get to see the ladies in action and the gameplay looks very accurate. The players we see in the video do look visually accurate, which is a significant improvement from the generic scans NBA Live used of the WNBA players. Speaking on her addition to the top-selling video game Candace Parker added: “Growing up, I always remembered watching male athletes on TV and playing as them in video games. Now, to have the WNBA be in the position we are and to have women featured prominently in NBA 2K20, we are allowing young girls and boys to have female athletes as role models. The 2K team has done an amazing job of making sure to not just put women into the game playing men’s basketball, but I’ve seen first-hand the hard work they’re doing to make this as real and authentic as possible to women’s basketball. I’m proud to be a part of this team paving the way for the future.” Jeff Thomas, SVP of Development, Visual Concepts stated: “For years, fans have requested the ability to play as some of their favorite WNBA stars. We’ve been working with the WNBA and their top players to modify our basketball simulation engine to replicate the WNBA on-court experience. We’re excited to roll out this new feature in NBA 2K20 because we know how important the WNBA is to the world of basketball.” WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert noted: “We are excited to have WNBA players as part of this top-selling video game, helping to bring more exposure to these elite players, expanding our fan base and providing an immersive gaming experience featuring women role model athletes.” Better late than never right? NBA 2K is one of the most played games on consoles right now by both sexes. It was always weird that game lacked the ability for female gamers to create female avatars. The NBA 2K League’s first female player had to ball with a male avatar during the season. Hopefully now with the inclusion of the WNBA into the game that will change.
