Chance the Rapper Believes Fans Want Him To Kill Himself Over ‘The Big Day’ Album

He took to Twitter to respond to the criticism and had some very eye-opening responses. The album which boasts appearances from Ari Lennox , Gucci Mane, CocoRosie and more is just isn’t impressing fans. Chance’s response to the negative takes on his album was quite interesting. The Acid Rap crafter claimed he believes some of his supporters want him to kill himself. He touched on how feels people want him to be ashamed before showing appreciation to those who reached out to him over the past few days. He also expressed his happiness for being able to spend time with his family and doing things he used to before getting consumed in the album-making process. ‘Atlanta’ Renewed For 4th Season By FX, Already

But today (August 6), we learned has already renewed the Donald Glover-helmed series for a fourth season. Deadline reports that the news was revealed at FX’s presentation at the TCA summer press tour. Production for both season 3 and 4 is set to begin next spring, with each series consisting of eight episodes. “What more can be said about Atlanta than the critical acclaim and accolades that Donald, Paul, Dianne, Stephen and Hiro have earned for two exceptional seasons of what is clearly one of the best shows on television,” said FX Entertainment President Eric Schrier. “This group of collaborators and cast have created one of the most original, innovative stories of this generation and we are proud to be their partners.” Season 2, dubbed ‘Atlanta Robbin’ Season,’ wrapped up way back in May 2018. Meanwhile, damn near the entire main cast—besides Glover; Brian Tyree Henry, Lakeith Stanfield and Zazie Beatz—have become certified stars.

Source: Rodin Eckenroth / Getty Billy Ray Cyrus Was Forced To Change One Of His Lines On “Old Town Road” Billy Ray Cyrus is known for being a legend in the world of country music–but more recently, he’s been making headlines for everything surrounding his contributions to Lil Nas X’s smash hit, “Old Town Road.” Last week, the legendary musician did an interview with Taste Of Country , where he talked about how he discovered Lil Nas X, what he thought of “Old Town Road” the first time he heard it, why he decided to jump on the song, and more. Beside the usual discussion surrounding the record breaking song, Billy Ray Cyrus also revealed some brand new information about his process when making his contribution. According to the Kentucky native, the writing process for his verse took only about “eight to ten minutes” for him to do in its entirety. Once he was finished putting pen to paper, the record label was mostly happy with it, except for one line. “For some reason I thought it would be funny to say, ‘Baby’s got a habit: diamond rings and marijuana,’” the country singer revealed to Taste Of Country . “See? I thought it was funny. That song could’ve DONE something,” he continued as the hosts laughed. The label ended up coming back to Billy with some simple notes about his verse: “everything but the marijuana.” In the end, after establishing that putting a line about weed in the song probably wouldn’t be their best move, somebody suggested that Billy say “Fendi sports bras” instead of “marijuana.” “And I thought, well, it’s probably good, because I don’t know what that is,” Cyrus explained to the hosts. Here’s how that section of Cyrus’ verse sounds today: “Hat down, cross town, livin’ like a rockstar/ Spent a lot of money on my brand new guitar/ Baby’s got a habit: diamond rings and Fendi sports bras/ Ridin’ down Rodeo in my Maserati sports car” And that’s how we ended up with the “Old Town Road” verse we know and love today. As we all already know by now, Lil Nas X’s single has been breaking non-stop records, topping the Billboard Hot 100 for the 18th week in a row, beating out “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee , featuring Justin Bieber , and “One Sweet Day” by Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men , which ruled for 16 weeks each, in 2017 and 1995-96, respectively. Would the song still be just as successful if Billy kept that line about marijuana in there? Who knows. But right now, it’s unstoppable.

White South Carolina Teen Banned From School After Racist Gun Video Surfaces

Source: Screenshot / Screenshot A white South Carolina student connected to a powerful Republican insider has been banned from a Catholic private school in Columbia. Parker Mustian, 16, posted a video last month filled with hateful rhetoric while threatening gun violence against Black men. Local outlet WOLO-TV reports : A local 16-year-old has been charged with ‘Student Threats,’ after videos were shared of him making racial and violent threats. The teen was a student of Cardinal Newman School, but is now banned from the property. Although these events transpired last month, school parents were just made aware of the investigation this past weekend, and now one of the racially-charged videos is going viral on social media. According to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department, the teen was taken to the juvenile wing of Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center on July 17. The 5th Circuit Solicitor’s Office said it cannot release any update on the status of the case because it involves a minor. Cardinal Newman Principal Robert Loia says in a letter sent to families Sunday, that it’s important to clarify the timeline surrounding the threatening videos. On July 13, Cardinal Newman School leaders were contacted by a parent of a student that had received a graphic and racist video made by the 16-year-old male student. In the video, the teen is shown shooting a box of Jordan’s, which he says ‘is the favorite pair of shoes for a black man.’ Right. Initially, the sheriff’s department didn’t view Mustian’s video as a criminal act but when Mustian threatened to shoot up the school after being withdrawn by his parents instead of facing expulsion while accepting a ban from its property, only then did police decide to arrest the boy on July 17. During the same week that her sister has made headlines for her dating life, Bella Hadid has gone ahead and stolen a few headlines… … by ending her year-long relationship with The Weeknd. Yes, these superstars had gotten back together, in case you hadn’t been made aware previously. Indeed, the 22-year-old supermodel and the 29-year-old Grammy winner have chosen to part ways, with a source using the former’s real name and telling E! News very simply: “Bella and Abel have split.” What brought about this unfortunate break-up? According to a source from this same celebrity gossip and news outlet, “distance” played a major role in their decision to go end their romance. “They are in different places right now, physically and mentally,” this insider says, adding: “Bella is prepping for her fashion week commitments and Abel is working on his music and his upcoming acting debut.” The model and the artist were rarely in the same city at the same time, according to this source. Moreover, their ongoing isolation from one another seemingly led to a great deal friction, per E! News: “They have been arguing a lot recently.” But is the  relationship really over? For good? No, Entertainment Tonight reports. The A-Listers “haven’t broken up, but are working through things like normal couples do,” this outlet counters, quoting a source of its own in writing the following: “The couple travels a lot, works a lot and that often creates tension,” the source says, adding: “However, the two love one another, have lost one another in the past and want to try and make it work. Right now they are together and working on keeping it that way.” Hadid and The Weeknd first got together way back at Coachella in 2015. Over the initial few months of this relationship, the private couple kept things casual prior to splitting up for the first time that December.  They got back together just three months later and then continued to do this break-up/make-up dance for the next couple years. As for Bella’s famous sibling? Well… Gigi Hadid has been spotted on two separate dates with former Bachelorette contestant Tylor Cameron this week. He was even seen leaving her apartment yesterday, meaning… well, you know what that probably means, right? What do you think of Bella and The Weeknd wrapping up their romance, though?
