Andrew Glennon to Amber Portwood: You’re Not a Real Mom!

After Amber Portwood was arrested back in July for assaulting Andrew Glennon, things have been pretty darn crazy. There have been court dates, leaked recordings, so many accusation of so many wrongdoings … It was a little overwhelming for us, so we can't imagine how intense it was for Amber and Andrew. But earlier this week, Amber took a plea deal and the case was closed — we already knew that. What we didn't know is that Andrew read a statement about his experience with Amber in court … a statement that has been released in its entirety. So let's check it out! 1. So Much There’s a whole, whole lot to discuss here, so let’s get the recap out of the way real quick, OK? 2. The Arrest Amber was arrested in the wee hours of the morning on July 5th after chasing Andrew, who was holding baby James, around the house with a machete. She was charged with three felonies, including domestic battery and criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon. 3. Lots of Leaks It’s taken nearly four months for the case to be settled, and in that time several recordings were leaked that proved Amber emotionally and physically abused Andrew, often in front of James. 4. Denial At first, Amber denied everything except beating him with a shoe the night she was arrested (which, you know, is still assault). She accused him of cheating on her and made fun of him for texting 911 that night instead of calling or just running away. Eventually she wrote off all her horrible actions by saying it was because of her postpartum depression. 5. Wild On Thursday, she officially accepted a plea deal at her final court hearing. She was sentenced to probation for two and a half years — as part of the probation, she can’t leave the state, she has to take weekly drug tests and be evalutated for mental health issues and substance abuse problems. 6. Questionable Andrew’s no contact order against her still stands, but she’s been granted three unsupervised visits with James every week, which seems odd. View Slideshow

It’s A Wrap: Beto O’Rourke Officially Drops Out of The 2020 Presidential Race

Source: PAUL RATJE / Getty Beto O’Rourke Calls It Quits On 2020 Presidential Race Beto O’Rourke has officially announced he is withdrawing from the 2020 presidential race. “Though it is difficult to accept, it is clear to me now that this campaign does not have the means to move forward successfully,” O’Rourke wrote in a statement released on social media. He entered the race earlier this year, nearly defeating Texas incumbent Sen. Ted Cruz in the 2018 midterms but struggled to gain traction in the massive Democratic primary field.   I am grateful to all the people who made up the heart and soul of this campaign. You were among the hundreds of thousands who made a donation, signed up to volunteer or spread the word about this campaign and our opportunity to help decide the election of our lifetime. — Beto O'Rourke (@BetoORourke) November 1, 2019 On Friday, an emotional O’Rourke addressed a group of supporters after the news broke saying: “This has been the honor of my lifetime,” he told them. “I love you all and I know that I’ll be seeing you down the road.” Meanwhile, Cheeto In Chief (of course) reacted to the news and slammed Beto for quitting “like a dog.” “When Beto quit like … he quit like a dog. I said, ‘See people think this is easy, this isn’t easy,’” the president said at a rally hours after O’Rourke stepped down. “He was a nasty guy. He had a couple of policies that don’t work well in the state of Texas. He was against religion. He was against you having a gun, and he was against oil.” SMFH!

This might sound familiar: you’ve just come home from a long day. You’re tired, you’re ready to fire up Hulu and catch up on your favorite show, but most importantly, you’re hungry. You’re not really in the mood to cook something from scratch, and you need to eat as soon as possible to avoid full-on hanger rage, so you grab some frozen food from your freezer. Now, you know it’s going to taste significantly better if you let that chicken parm meal heat up in the oven, but according to the box, that’ll take over 30 minutes, and you’re famished — which means you’re going to plop that sucker in the microwave, heat on high for five minutes, and suffer the consequences of soggy chicken. Fast food and good food don’t often go together, but we’re here to tell you there’s a way to have your cake and eat it too — or in this case, roast your rotisserie chicken and bake a pizza faster, and all in the same place. The Gemelli Twin Oven is a professional-grade convection oven (translation: an oven that cooks your food way faster thanks to fan-induced air circulation) with some awesome additions. The Gemelli has an added rotisserie feature that can cook up to six pounds of meat evenly (and more healthily than frying), and a separate lower oven with a built-in pizza drawer that can cook 12 inch pizzas, quesadillas, bagels, and more. Now, you can cook, bake, broil, warm, and roast your food up to 30 percent faster, at optimum temperatures up to 450 degrees, with the main oven’s infrared  and four quartz heating elements. Don’t settle for a soggy meal again — grab the Gemelli Twin Oven today for just $279.99 (normally $379.99.) Prices subject to change.
