Libya Plane Crash has no technical faults

The plane which crashed in Libya on May 12 killed 103 people. The crash was not caused by mechanical failure according to a preliminary inquiry. The black box recorders pointed out that the Afriqiyah Airways plane had enough fuel and didn’t make any call for help. The sole survivor of the crash was a nine-year-old Dutch boy. Most people who were killed in the crash were Dutch citizens when the plane missed the runway at Tripoli airport as it flew in from South Africa. According to data recovered, there is no sign indicating technical failure in the plane before the incident. However, the flight recorders were sent to Paris for an examination that was overseen by international observers. Officials have also ruled out a terrorists act as a potential cause after studying the recorders. The Airbus 330 was carrying 93 passengers and 11 crew. The 70 dead individuals were Dutch citizens while all of the crew were Libyan, Others were nationals from South Africa, the UK, Australia, Germany, Zimbabwe and France. The rocker told concert goers in Mississippi on Friday night that he was being considered for the gig . Now, in an interview with People , the former Poison singer explains why he’d be a great choice, starting with his “old-school, paying-my-dues experience.” “I used to move the pool table out of the way to play for people six nights a week, playing five sets a night, where I had to announce the dinner special. I grew up the old-fashioned way. I would have done anything to have a platform like American Idol when I was growing up,” he said. Michaels – whose reality show resume includes judging Nashville Star ; sleeping with women on Rock of Love ; and winning Celebrity Apprentice – also tells the magazine he can help Idol contestants focus on the big picture. “For a lot of these young musicians, I’d be able to give them incredibly awesome and very, very real advice. Not just the music, but their attitude and what it’s gonna take. Because everyone forgets one simple thing: Once you get chosen as the winner, you still have a big road ahead. “I would bring my heart and my soul and amazingly honest and truthful advice. And I would tell them if I thought their chances of making it were really slim – and how to fix that. Because my chances of making it were extremely slim. Tropical Storm Agatha Killed 74 People

The tropical storm Agatha has killed 14 individuals and the destruction it had caused is feared to spread a lot. The storm Agatha came in a form pf a tropical storm and wasn’t able to give enough time to make an appropriate measures. Many people were forced to leave their homes because of land slide and flood. For the meantime, about 74,500 are homeless because of the storm. Many homes were swept away by mud, where in one of those homes included four children. According to reports, there are at least 10 people missing and they are feared to have been buried dead under the mud. In some parts of Guatemala, about more than 3 feet of rain fell. Many roads were totally destroyed. The government in El Salvador declared a state of emergency after high wind storm and heavy rain. According to the Miami-based US National Hurricane Center, the heavy rains could cause life-threatening flash floods and mudslides. Now, the storm’s intensity is decreasing. Canadian Singer Celine Dion Pregnant For Twins

It was reported in the CNN on Monday that the Canadian singer Celine Dion is 14 weeks pregnant with twins. Celine Dion, 42 year-old, and with her husband-manager Rene Angelil, 68, will find out next month the gender of their twins according to the television network. According to the report and quoted Celine Dion’s spokeswoman Kim Jakwerth, the pregnancy was the result of Dion’s sixth in-vitro fertilisation attempt. Furthe on the report, Celine Dion turned to acupuncture therapy to improve her chances of getting pregnant. The father of the Twins is Angelil. Indy 500 Crash Video: Mike Conway Suffers Leg Injury Yet Survived

Photo: AP It has been a successful Indy 500 race with a fine weather around but just like any other race, accidents are really inevitable. In this year’s race, Mike Conway has been the unlucky one to experience it. The thing happened during the remaining three laps. Closing to 2.9 seconds when a half-lap behind the Nos. 37 and 24 cars of Ryan Hunter-Reay and Mike Conway touched wheels, sending Conway’s car airborne and slamming into the catch fence. “I had nowhere to go,” Hunter-Reay said after the race. Conway suffered an injury to his left leg and was airlifted to nearby Methodist Hospital because of the heavy post-race traffic. He never lost consciousness and the injury was not considered life-threatening. He was able to finished 19th as the race ended. Indy 500 2010 Winner is Dario Franchitti!

200 exciting laps has passed and Indy 500 2010 has proclaimed its winner. The weather has been perfect and everyone has been so excited to witness the race. The crowd then welcomes this year’s Indy 500 winner Dario Franchitti, the Scottish racer from Tennessee. The commentators observed Franchitti seemed to be just about out of gas, so his victory could be just out of luck. He was joined by his wife Ashley Judd as they celebrate his great victory. This year’s win of Franchitti is his second. His first Indy win was in year 2007. He was followed by Dan Wheldon and Alex Lloyd came in 3rd. Last year’s winner Helio Castroneves is in 9th place. As to IndyCar points standings, Castroneves came in third but not enough to surpass Franchitti who’s in 5th place. The controversial lady racer Danica Patrick made it to 5th place this year after being by the booed by the crowd during the Qualifying round. It just mean that it would be her 87th race and hasn’t won even once. Great race as it is. See you all next year.
