Joe Jonas And Demi Lovato Split Up

Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato has ended their teenage romance but still expressed that they will remain close. Joe Jonas told PEOPLE “Demi and I knew going into our romantic relationship that it may not be an easy one…I realize over the time we have shared together that I feel I care more about our friendship right now. It was my choice to break up but I love her as a friend. She’s been there for me when I needed her. I will continue to be her friend and be there for her.” Lovato send out a tweet in her Twitter account to shoot down what she labeled erroneous reports. “There are so many crazy rumors flying around today,” she tweeted. “I’d like to clear a few things up. First, Joe and I did split but it wasn’t over the phone. Things didn’t work out but we’ll remain friends. Secondly, I am NOT dating anybody already. Nothing is more important to me than the relationship I have with my fans. Just thought you guys should know this.” The pair, who first met on the set of Camp Rock in 2007 and went public with their relationship in March, will still tour together, starting July 27 in Dallas. Dancing With The Stars: Erin Andrews’ Hip-Shakes Made Her Top on Dancing

On Monday night’s show, the ESPN reporter Erin Andrews has performed well. She ended up tying with frontrunner Nicole Scherzinger. Andrews together with her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy hit the ballroom with a hip-shaking samba that judge Bruno Tonioli say “You were hotter than noon in the tropics!” The samba was Andrew’s redemption dance because she performed this earlier in the season which made the judges felt she could improve upon, which she really did. Carrie Ann Inaba told her that she moved herself up three notches. After garnering a near perfect score of 29 points, she danced a lyrical-inspired freestyle that included a couch and a bed for her second routine. Len felt that the performance was a mix of motion and commotion but still liked it as a whole. Carrie Ann called it risky, but Bruno commented that it was a bit of a “psycho drama.” The pair earned 26 points in this dance. They gained a total of 55 out of 60 points for the night. Lady Gaga Tested For Lupus

Since Lady Gaga nearly collapsed on stage in March, she had to cancel several shows earlier this year because of exhaustion. Her friends are worried if she’s on the brink of tipping. Now, the pop star’s recent health scare is likely not helping to alleviate those fears. Lady Gaga said to The Times of London that she is very connected to her aunt, Joanne, who suffered and died of lupus and it is a very personal thing for her. When asked if she has been tested, Lady Gaga answered “yes” but she didn’t elaborate on the results. She only added that she doesn’t want anyone to be worried even if the disease wherein the immune system attacks the body and can also be genetic. During an interview in her New Zealand concert, Gaga said that she has heart palpitations and things, but she’s okay. It was just because of fatigue and other stuff. The most recent health emergency she experienced was just the other day when she had trouble breathing in Tokyo. She immediately received a little oxygen and then went back on stage. Despite her thin body, Lady Gaga wants to reassure her fans that she doesn’t have eating problem but instead points out her hectic schedule that doesn’t allow her very little time to eat. She also assures them that she does no drugs, doesn’t touch cocaine anymore and doesn’t smoke. She can take care of herself. Hubble Spotted a Planet-Eating Star

The Hubble Space Telescope has captured evidence of a Sun-like star “eating” a nearby planet. Astronomers knew from the studies conducted that stars are capable of swallowing planets in orbit around them. However, this is the first time that the theory has visual evidence, first time the event has been “seen” so clearly. Hubble’s detection of the cloud enabled scientist to draw conclusions about how it was generated. The discovery was published in the “The Astrophysical Journal Letters.” Even though the planet was too far away for Hubble to take a picture of it, scientists used the analysis of the telescope’s data to create an image of it. According to the researchers, the planet is called Wasp-12 and it only has 10 million years left before it will be completely consumed. It is so close to its star that it completes an orbit in 1.1 Earth days and is superheated to more than 1,500C. Mount Everest’s Youngest Climber

A 13-year-old American boy has become the youngest person to reach the summit of Mount Everest. Jordan Romero who is from California, phoned his mother from the peak of the world’s highest mountain. Jordan was climbing with his father and three Sherpa guides. The previous record was held by a Nepalese boy at 16. Jordan has now conquered the highest mountains on six of the world’s seven continents. For the record, he also climbed Africa’s Mount Kilimanjaro at the age of 10. In addition, he scaled Mount Kosciuszko in Australia. The team started at the Nepal’s capital Kathmandu last month and headed for the base camp on the Chinese side of the mountain. Although Nepal insists that whoever plans to climb Mount Everest must be at least 16 years of age, but China does not impose any age restrictions. 115 Dead In Southern China Flood

A torrent of floods which is caused by heavy storms have killed 115 individuals in Southern China. According to weather reports, there are still 21 people who are missing. The emergency rescue teams have been sent across Southern China to help the 685,000 victims who were advised to evacuate. A statement on the Ministry of Civil Affairs website was released that the storm had caused £1.53 billion damages. Chen who is an official at the Hunan Water Bureau said that the rain was severe but it begins to subside. 13 provinces were affected by the flood including Guangdong, Sichuan and Zhejiang.
