Ellen Barkin is an American actress and film producer. She just won the suit against her billionaire ex-husband Ronald Perelman, which amounts to $4.3million. The judge had ordered Perlman to pay $4.3million to Ellen Barkin. According to Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Debra James, Apple head contract and the divorce agreement were separated deals. Ellen has won the money in Apple head contract. In 2000, Ellen wed a businessman Ronald Perelman. The former couple was married for 5 years. In 2006, they ended their marriage with a messy divorce and Barkin received $40million. The $3.4million was intended to be an investment fund which he promised to invest in their film production company. Despite winning $4.3million, Ellen Barkin was not satisfied with the justice she received. She’s expecting to get $20 to $60 million. It reached to $4.3million because it includes the interest. The original amount is only $3.4 million. Berkins will invest this money for her film production company. The Barkin’s Production Company was co-founded by her ex-husband Ron Perelman. All proceeds from the event wil go toward rebuilding her hometown, which has seen 21 deaths over the last couple weeks due to extreme flooding and whose flood damages may exceed $1 billion. “I’m thrilled to announce that I will be playing a show to help benefit Nasvhille, my hometown,” ha said. “One hundred percent of the profits from ticket sales will go to help the victims of these devastating floods. Nashville helped shape me as an artist and as a person and my love for this city is beyond words. “I will continue to do anything I can to help rebuild this city and support the families and animals who have been affected by this tragedy.” Sounds like Ke$ha is more than an unusual dresser and great kisser . She has it in her to be a solid humanitarian, as well. Meanwhile, the Country Music Association announced yesterday that half the proceeds from the 2010 CMA Music Festival will go to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee for flood relief.
