Source: Charlotte Observer / Getty Todd Palin Files For Divorce From Sarah Palin After 31 Years Of Marriage Sarah Palin’s husband, Todd, has filed for divorce from the former governor of Alaska and Vice Presidential candidate , citing “incompatibility of temperament” and that “they find it impossible to live together as husband and wife.” According to NBC News , Todd Palin asked to dissolve the couple’s 31-year marriage in a filing submitted on Friday in Anchorage Superior Court. The paperwork was submitted only eight days after the couple’s anniversary. Though the filing only uses initials, it details the couple’s marriage date and the birth date of their 11-year-old son, Trig, asking for an equal separation of both assets and debts. The couple got married in 1988 and have five children: Track, Trig, Bristol, Willow and Piper. Todd’s filing asks for shared custody of their youngest, Trig. This news comes a little less than a year after their daughter, Bristol Palin , got divorced from her ex-husband Dakota Meyer, which followed their short stint on one season of MTV’s Teen Mom OG .

Yoyo is experiencing ageism from her own daughter, and A1’s mother tried it when she insinuated that it’s Lyrica’s fault that A1 ain’t treating her right. Let’s start with Yoyo. We know she has been helping other rappers work on their technique through her rap school, but she’s also planning a musical comeback. She basically described her comeback as being the Yoyo we know, but with modern sensibilities. That’s going to be interesting given the mumble app tendencies of today’s most popular hits. If anything, the fans that grew up with her might be interested in hearing what she’s working with…or maybe not. It really is a mixed bag because people are so finicky but also arbitrary these days when it comes to what entertainment they like. Plus, this culture is dominated by youth and that is where Yoyo’s pregnant daughter comes in because a lot of people may feel Yoyo should fall back. Yoyo’s daughter feels like mom is doing too much, and wants her to settle down. She obviously wants her mom to settle down for selfish reasons. She wants her mom around to play grandma and help with the baby. Instead of being tactful about it she says, “You’ve always been working, it’s time for you to settle down you’re a grandma.” Yoyo replies, “Girl bye!” And it makes you wonder, why can’t Yoyo have everything she wants? It’s possible for her to be working and a doting grandmother. Why are people so bothered when women of a certain age are still about pursuing their passions? Do you think it would be a different response if Yoyo were a man? Let’s fast forward a bit. The episode ends with Lyrica and A1’s dysfunction. They’re not happy and haven’t been for a while. They both initially said they were going to try to work it out but then Lyrica said she found out about more infidelity that A1 was dishonest about and this makes her not sure about their future. It doesn’t help that A1’s mother, Pam, steps into the fray and creates more chaos. Pam called herself stepping in to help and only made things worse. She especially tried it when she said, “Men do stuff because of women.” Then she added that Lyrica never cooks. Basically, she’s saying that A1 cheating is Lyrica’s fault. A1’s goofy self is there agreeing with his mother. Unfortunately, a lot of people have the archaic and baseless view that a failed relationship is the woman’s fault. However, it’s obvious that A1 and Lyrica both play a part in their issues. If they’re serious about working it out then perhaps a therapist (or even Marriage Bootcamp ) is the best option. But if not, they should probably move on instead of playing tit for tat games, and definitely keep the meddling mamas out of their business. Was A1’s mother out of pocket with her comments? The rock queen recently did an interview with The New York Times and although she endured a hectic life, she’s now just as carefree as ever. She has a musical about her life headed to Broadway, she’s married to music producer Erwin Bach , and she’s enjoying the fruits of her labor with 10 years of retirement. “I don’t necessarily want to be a ‘strong’ person,’” she told the Times . “I had a terrible life. I just kept going. You just keep going, and you hope that something will come.” Ms. Turner then gestures to her extravagant home in Switzerland, adding, “This came.” Spoken like a true legend. Turner also spoke about her notoriously abusive relationship with the late Ike Turner, shedding insight on how forgiveness manifests for different people. “I don’t know if I could ever forgive all that Ike ever did to me,” Turner said. Then she added, “Ike’s dead. So we don’t have to worry about him.” There you have it. Along with her tips on resilience, Turner also gave tips on just relaxing and doing nothing. Although she had great moments during her 50 years of performing, Turner is enjoying retirement and has no plans to return as a music artist. “I don’t sing. I don’t dance. I don’t dress up,” she said. After a life of pleasing other people, Ms. Turner has no qualms about living a little selfishly in her soon-to-be 80s. “I was just tired of singing and making everybody happy,” she said. “That’s all I’d ever done in my life.” The upcoming Broadway musical, Tina: The Tina Turner Musical, first made its debut in London before coming to the U.S., according to Playbill. Actress Adrienne Warren will reprise the title role and she’ll be joined by Daniel J. Watts as Ike Turner. Acclaimed playwright Katori Hall wrote the book for the show. “Tina is such a powerful being—beyond an icon,” Hall told the cast on their first day of rehearsal. “[Tina] always said she wanted to use the poison that she had to take in her life in order to create medicine for others. I want you guys in this rehearsal to embrace the responsibility. The responsibility of telling this story that is going to transform people.” Tina will explore Ms. Turner’s life from Nutbush, Tennessee to international fame. Performances will start on October 12 at the Lunt-Fortanne Theatre and opening night is November 7.

Yoba is an honorary member of the fraternity according to The Jasmine Brand. He was named their youth “Sigma Beta Club” spokesperson recently. The fraternity has released a statement regarding Mariah Lopez Ebony . The now transgender adult claims Yoba solicited sex from her as a vulnerable teen. Yoba was removed from the organization on Thursday and the following statement was released: “Those reports allege that Yoba had been previously involved in an inappropriate relationship 20 years ago, allegations that Brother Yoba denies. This is a serious issue and the allegation is inconsistent with, and a distraction to, the focus of the Sigma Beta Club. To safeguard the reputation of the program and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc., the National Sigma Beta Club Foundation, in consultation with Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity’s leadership, has determined it to be in the best interest of all concerned that Brother Malik Yoba no longer serve as the National Spokesperson for the Sigma Beta Club program.” Malik Yoba previously denied Ebony’s claims. So far he hasn’t commented about being dropped from the program.
