ASAP Rocky’s First Lawyer In Sweden Shot In The Head

Source: KIKA/WENN.com / WENN70 The lawyer originally signed to ASAP Rocky ’s assault case has been shot in the head and the chest in Sweden,  Complex  reports. Henrick Olssen Lilja was wounded outside of an apartment complex where he reportedly lives. The victim called the authorities himself and was rushed to the hospital. Since the incident, police have brought numerous suspects in for questioning. Eyewitnesses say Lilja was attacked and wrestled to the ground by the assailant before he was shot twice. Police said in a statement, “The police have arrested several people for questioning. The investigation is at an intense stage and the police are working on several different fronts to make progress.” They added that the crime was an “isolated incident with no known connection to recent violent crimes.” Aside from Rocky, Lilja also represented other high profile people like Qiao Jianjun, a wanted fugitive in China who stands accused of embezzling millions. His medical condition is currently unknown. Lilja was assigned to ASAP Rocky’s case when it first caught worldwide attention due to Rocky’s alleged living conditions in jail while he was awaiting trial for an assault case. He was released from Swedish jail a little over three weeks after his arrest. The rapper was charged with assault for allegedly beating up a man who he said harassed him. After weeks of protest from fans and an intervention from Donald Trump , Rocky was returned to the US after being found guilty. He will not have to serve any additional jail time. Sabrina Peterson, using the Instagram account @TheGlamUniversity, shared details of the armed robbery that occurred over the weekend at an Atlanta gas station. “On God! Myself & @alexisskyy_ was robbed at gunpoint last night at the QT on Howell Mill. I know you probably just thought it was two girls & a nice car but it’s DEEPER THAN THAT! Let’s call it a mistake! Phi Beta Sigma Removes Malik Yoba From Youth Leadership Role

After revealing he’s attracted to trans people (hey, it’s 2019) and explaining himself via a struggle rap freestyle, the actor has been removed from his youth leadership role with Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. The historically Black fraternity basically felt like Yoba is a bad look. NewsOne has the details:  According to a memo obtained by NewsOne, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Yoba was removed from his position as spokesman for the Sigma Beta Club program, which is focused on providing mentorship to “pre-teen and teen-aged males” through social, cultural and educational enrichment. The “Empire” actor, who is an honorary member of the historic Black fraternity, was named the spokesperson earlier this year. The memo, dated Sept. 5, was sent out to fraternity members on Thursday and said the organization’s decision to remove Yoba came after allegations were made against him by Mariah Lopez Ebony, a trans woman who claimed the actor paid her for sex when she was underage. Other women have also shared similar stories. So it’s not that he’s cool with trans women, it’s the accusation of paying for sex, right? Interestingly, Phi Beta Sigma’s sister organization, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., recently announced they will be accepting transgender members after backlash over an alleged ban. Throngs of fashionistas packed the Kings Theater in Brooklyn Sunday night for the unveiling of the third installment of Pyer Moss’ “American, Also” collection, “Sister.” The brand, headed by creative director Kerby Jean-Raymond, turned the show into an almost spiritual experience: the evening began with a rousing speech telling guests to throw off the psychological shackles of slavery and oppression and declare themselves free. The Migos rapper effortlessly rattled off his favorite kicks by name while discussing his collection and dropping over $31K—mostly on SB Dunks and Air Jordan Retros—while Sneaker Shopping with Complex .  A gregarious Offset also excitedly discussed some of his prized items including a pair of Macklemore Air Jordan 6’s from a collection that he values at at least $1M. “So I did a song with him called ‘Willy Wonka,’ recorded it at his home,” said Offset of the Macklemore blessing. “I came to the crib, we were shooting hoops. He brought them out to me like, ‘I appreciate you. This record’s going good. My brother. Great friendship.’ And he gave me those. In my head I wanted to go crazy and run around, but I played it cool, but I knew that was like a 25 grand shoe.” In total Offset bought 27 pairs while at Flight Club in LA and it was nothing but heat with joints like the Doernbecher “Superman” IVs and the Air Jordan IV Georgetown PE’s that were a smooth $7,600. Kawhi Leonard’s Sister Allegedly Beat 84-Year-Old To Death In Robbery Attempt

BROWN / Getty The sister of Los Angeles Clippers ‘ forward Kawhi Leonard is being accused of beating an 84-year-old woman to death at Temecula casino last week according to authorities. Kimesha Monae Williams, 35, and another woman were arrested for an August 31 attack that took place at the Pechanga Resort. Per NBC Los Angeles Kimesha Monae Williams, 35, was one of two women arrested in the Aug. 31 attack at the Pechanga Resort.  Authorities said that Williams and Candance Tai Townsell, 39, followed Afaf Anis Assad, 84, into the bathroom of the casino. They then beat her and robbed her, officials said. Deputies found Assad unconscious. She died Wednesday in the hospital.   Williams and Townsell were booked on suspicion of assault resulting in great bodily injury, conspiracy, robbery, and elder abuse.  Due to investigators learning of Williams relationship with Leonard, Riverside authorities announced her bail was “enhanced” to $1 million. This is definitely not the news the Klaw was expecting to hear regarding his name with the 2019-20 NBA season quickly approaching. Leonard packed his bags and headed back to his hometown of Los Angeles, California to join the Clippers after winning a championship with the Toronto Raptors in the 2019 NBA Finals. — Photo: FREDERIC J. Source: Splash / Splash News After giving Los Angeles and Ohio a taste of his once-private musical gospels, Kanye West finally got around to taking his Sunday Service show to his hometown of Chicago this past weekend and sure enough fans lined up outside Chicago’s Huntington Pavilion to receive the Holy Ghost courtesy of Yeezus. With hardcore Yeezy fans braving the rainy weather outside of the arena hoping to catch a glimpse of the man of the house, Kanye West eventually made his way through the mob of aficionados to take the stage and energize the congregation by performing his classics “Jesus Walks” (of course) and “Ultralight Beam.” Though the chances of Yeezy officially opening at Sunday Service church in Chicago is slim to none, but according to Billboard the musical director did tell the Chi-Town crowd “We’ll see you soon.” Who knows what they have planned for the future in Chicago but Lord knows having Kanye spreading positivity in his hometown is sorely needed especially at a time when gun violence in Chiraq has become a part of everyday life in some places.
