As previously reported Alexis Skyy is getting dragged for publically penetrating a woman with a cucumber during a poolside #CucumberChallenge . Reginae Carter also got hit with shade after folks noted that she previously called the challenge “disgusting” but was CLEARLY at the explicit festivities. Now Reginae’s explaining herself and telling her supporters that she’s innocent in this #CucumberChallenge calamity. According to Lil Wayne and Toya Wright’s daughter, she was in attendance to spy on her boyfriend YFN Lucci who enjoys #cucumberchallenges and got “dumped” by Reginae over it. Reginae says however that she left the pool party when the vegetables came out and also admitted to “looking like a fool” because of her on-again/off-again BF. “Okay guys . I wanna say this .. I went to the party to spy on ray(lucci). Females , don’t act like you never did it . But when I heard about the cucumber activities , I left. Tbh , I’ve made myself look like a fool for this man and I apologize for allowing you guys to see it . I’m young and still learning . Unfortunately, every move I make is publicized. Source: Gary Miller / Getty Chance The Rapper Takes No. 2 Spot On Billboard 200 Chart Chance the Rapper is known for his spiritual and gospel infused music and in many cases, his ideas have resulted in success. But now, it seems like his recent debut album The Big Day isn’t receiving the same acclaim. Along with lukewarm reviews , Chance also couldn’t make the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 Chart. ANOTHER Christian-leaning rapper did, however. According to Billboard, rapper NF scored his second No. 1 album thanks to his release The Search. The project released on July 26, brought in the equivalent of 130,000 album units in the U.S. in the week ending in August 1. Chance’s The Big Day came in at number two with 108,000 equivalent album units earned. Eighty thousand of those streams were via streaming, making his release the most streamed of the week. The Bid Day is also Chance’s highest charting album yet. So Chance does have some wins this week, but considering the buzz he’s built over the years, it still surprising that he did’t take the number one spot. His second place might have been avoided with more promotion and single releases before the album dropped. Chance basically just made a random announcement on Jimmy Fallon and that’s how people knew about the album, although he made mention of it as early as February . Anywho, Chance is still winning in a lot of ways and maybe the album might gain more steam in the coming weeks…if we can get a single, a music video, anything . We’ll keep you posted.

In it features a cut with J. Cole called Jodeci Freestyle that ends with a harsh lyric that prompted an online petition to surface back when the track originally dropped. That petition garnered nearly 4500 signatures. Here’s the un-edited version below: The controversial lyric comes on Cole’s verse near the very end, “Go check the numbers, dummy, that’s just me gettin’ started/ I’m artistic, you n—as is autistic, retarded.” The second part of the bar is completely muted, and the beat continues to just carry on. Some people argue that it sounds more awkward than had they just left it alone. The two emcee’s were forced to acknowledge and apologize for those words. J. Cole by way of a blog post , while Drake spread his message through in OVO announcement .

Kelly was in court Friday for an arraignment hearing for his racketeering and sexual misconduct charges in New York and was denied bail in the process. Variety reports : he singer, wearing blue prison togs over an orange shirt, pleaded not guilty to the charges through his attorneys, Douglas Anton and Steven Greenberg. While he looked ahead through most of the hearing, Kelly smiled ruefully and nodded briefly at girlfriends Joycelyn Savage and Azriel Clary, who were seated with two other associates of the singer; the two women each let out a sympathetic sigh as Kelly was led into the courtroom in prison togs. He did not address the courtroom except to tell the judge that he understood the charges against him. Attorneys for the government claimed that if the 52-year-old singer were released on bond, he would be a flight risk with a serious danger of obstruction of justice and noted the allegations of his sexual crimes against minors. They also noted his “lengthy and wide-ranging history of criminal conduct” and said that during his 2002 child-pornography trial, of which he was acquitted in 2008, there were multiple claims of obstruction of justice — specifically “paying off and intimidating witnesses not to appear” — and noted the assistance of his “inner circle” with those obstruction claims. Pantaleo used a chokehold that had been banned by the department and ignored Garner’s pleas for breath while he was being arrested for harmless cigarette sales. NYPD Commissioner James O’Neill suggested Pantaleo be fired and the community is encouraged by better-late-than-never semblance of justice: “Today, we finally saw a step toward justice and accountability,” said Mayor Bill de Blasio, who is seeking the Democratic presidential nomination. “And I hope that this will now bring the Garner family a sense of closure and the beginning of some peace,” he added. Firing is the bare minimum of consequences that Pantaleo should face. We’d much rather see him in a prison cell than on LinkedIn.
