Email Submit The awards, hosted by Regina Hall, started off with a monologue where she referenced Billy Ray Cyrus as a Howard University alumni and throwing him the call H-U and him promptly responding with “You Know!”  Cyrus stepped in to help Lil Nas X with “Old Town Road” after the Billboard charts kicked the song off the country charts saying it wasn’t country enough.  It’s all good because we love the song and Billy Ray can come to the cookout any day. Source: McDonald’s / McDonald’s McDonald’s Hosted The “Black & Positively Golden” Fan Experience At BETX In LA BJ The Chicago Kid and Lil Yachty were among the big names at McDonald’s imprint at the BET Experience Fan Fest. Thousands of people attended McDonald’s “Black & Positively Golden” experience at BETX at LA’s Staples Center over the weekend. BJ The Chicago Kid performed an intimate set Saturday afternoon. The R&B artist performed songs like “Turnin Me Up,” and songs from his new album, “1123,” out July 26. Before the set, BJ told BOSSIP he’s been “golden” since day one: “I used to sing background for Jill Scott. She made me golden!” Fans were treated to a dance-off, chicken McNuggets and fries and a mobile studio where they could produce their own songs. And fresh off of his set at the Staples Center the night before, we spotted Lil Yachty visiting the mobile studio. Yachty told us that he was “chilling,” but would be back in the studio soon. Well it turns out that Tristan is big mad Khloe made him seem suicidal and he’s telling friends he said no such thing. “He says he told Khloe he didn’t want to live without her, but that didn’t mean he wanted to kill himself,” a source told RadarOnline, adding that the basketball pro is angry she made the allegation. “He is pissed off because a ton of people, including his family members and NBA execs, are reaching out to him very worried.” The 28-year-old told friends he was blindsided by the claims after the show aired on Sunday, June 23, and felt she “exploited” his comments. Sheesh! A Kardashian exploiting their former partner ratings? Who would believe such a thing? Sounds like Tristan should have known what he signed up for when he started swirling with Khloe — riiiiight? Do you think ANYONE has any sympathy for HIM at this point though?

The Marathon Continues: Nipsey Hussle Honored By His Beautiful Daughter During Graduation Ceremony [Video]

Source: David Crotty / Getty Nipsey Hussle Honored By Daughter During Graduation Ceremony We bet Nipsey Hussle would’ve been the happiest and proudest dad if we were here today. In case you missed it, his baby girl Emani Asghedom graduated from elementary school over the weekend and one clip shows the 10-year-old thanking her late, legendary father. “I want to begin by sharing my thankfulness for my mom, the community, and my dad for always believing in me,” she said in this sweet clip, posted alongside some photos of the special occasion. Emani wasn’t the only one remembering Nipsey this weekend. The BET Awards went down at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles and DJ Khaled, John Legend, Marsha Ambrosius, and YG’s tribute to the deceased rapper was absolutely beautiful. Nipsey’s family, Emani included, was also in the building to accept a much-deserved Humanitarian Award on his behalf… May the late King rest in peace.

During a sit-down interview with Rupaul, the ‘Beauty Marks’ singer says she’s never spoken openly about it before, but after 33 years together her parents divorced. Their split came, she says, right after Russell Wilson came into her and Baby Future’s lives. She was 29-years-old at the time. Ciara, 33, tells Rupaul it was difficult to accept the reality that her parents broke up after such a long time, but eventually, she adjusted to their new lives. Currently, both her mom and dad are remarried.

Soulja Boy Kidnapping Case Gets Rejected By Prosecutors

Source: John McCoy / Getty Soulja Boy is still kicking it in jail, but he is in a little less trouble. The kidnapping case that was attempted to be brought against the rapper has been rejected by prosecutors. Says TMZ : The Ventura County District Attorney tells TMZ … they’re declining to file charges against the rapper due to insufficient evidence. The alleged victim accused Soulja Boy of holding her captive for 6 hours, but our law enforcement sources say a police investigation didn’t prove it. TMZ broke the story … a woman went to police back in February claiming Soulja kidnapped her, held her captive in his garage and tied her to a chair with an extension cord. Soulja denied the allegations, and his team said the woman was flat-out lying. Unfortunately for Soulja, the aforementioned search is when authorities found ammo in his crib, which is a parole violation and cause his current predicament—an 8-month jail sentence. SB gotta make better decisions.
