Source: Goads Agency / Getty Families Demand That Chicago PD Investigate Dozens Of Strangled Women Chicago police are under fire from the families of over 50 woman, mostly Black, who want to know exactly who killed their loved ones. According to CBS Chicago , between 2001 and 2019 there have been 51 bodies of strangled women found in the streets of Chicago, many of them on the west side and south side. Many in the community fear a serial killer after missing person cases like those of Kierra Coles and Chaunti Bryla. The Dreamcatcher Foundation staffer Brenda Stewart had this to say via WGN-TV : “I feel that people don’t care about women that are on drugs, work the streets. I mean, they’re human,” she said. She said the unsolved cases of mostly black women is scary. “If a family member doesn’t push the issue, of course they’re not going to look. That’s just another dead body, let’s take her to the morgue, she works the streets,” she said. Facts. We already know the system doesn’t prioritize Black women, much less Black women sex workers and drug users. Sanitation worker Riccardo Holyfield’s cousin Reo Renee Holyfield was found in the garbage bin last year, he agrees with Stewart via CBS Chicago: “If something don’t get done, it’s going to get worse,” Riccardo said. “People keep dismissing us because of these women’s backgrounds.” Despite the fact that these families are 100% right: Chicago Police Supt. Eddie Johnson said right now there is just not enough information to say a serial killer or killers are responsible for strangling the women, but until arrests are made their families will continue pushing. Source: Jub Rubjob / Getty Florida Man Accidentally Snitches On Himself After Fatal Hit-And-Run One guy is most likely going to JAIL jail after he allegedly hit a 70-year-old pedestrian with his car, left the scene, and attempted to get rid of the evidence. To top all that off, he told on HIMSELF by posting pictures that no one asked for on social media, claiming he hit a deer. From the NY Post : Authorities say a Florida man posted photos of his damaged vehicle on social media, telling friends he’d hit a deer. But the Florida Highway Patrol says 37-year-old Dwayne Drayton struck and killed 70-year-old Robert Henschel as he stood beside his disabled vehicle on Feb. 23. Drayton was arrested Wednesday. An arrest report says a witness told troopers a maroon Mustang drove away from the crash scene. After Ole Silly posted pics, his followers put two-and-two together. Anonymous callers contacted troopers after seeing Drayton’s photos. An investigator wrote in an affidavit that the car’s damage was “consistent with a pedestrian strike.” Troopers say Drayton had cleaned his car when they took possession, but DNA evidence matching Henschel was on the windshield. He’s charged with leaving the scene of a fatal crash and destroying evidence. A lawyer isn’t listed on jail records. See Drayton’s mugshot HERE .

Karrueche Tran: Actually there was a lot of back and forth with trying to figure out how the season was going to end. Of course you’ve got to end the season with a great cliffhanger. ‘ I forgot originally what it was. Jenn Lyon: We all took turns shooting Zlata but it didn’t get figured out until really late. It ended up that Dean got to do it. Karrueche Tran: I was so down for it. Cuz it’s a great ended. If anybody would have got shot, everybody would be like ‘Oh my God, are they gonna survive? I can’t wait for season 3.’ I love that kind of thrill of it all. Jenn Lyon: But people were in their feelings about it like, ‘if Virginia is dead I will riot.’ Karrueche Tran: The trailers are out now so people know I survived. And I have an eye patch now. JB: Speaking of the eye patch, I wanted to talk to you about that and just overall the insane wardrobes. Has any of that crossed over to your lives? Have you taken the eye patch home with you yet. KT: Listen, I hate that thing. She will tell you. Oh my God. JL: It really messed with her spacial awareness you know. And it didn’t help because we tease her mercilessly. We’ll ask her something and she’ll turn her whole body. KT: We had to do some activities and I was like ‘I have to do this with this thing on?’ JL: She was mean. We were like ‘Are you hungry?’ and she was like ‘No! I just have this stupid eye patch on.’ KT: Then between breaks I’d have half a face, my eye shadow wouldn’t be on because, for what? I wouldn’t have on lashes so I’d be walking around talking to people and they’d be like, ‘What’s wrong with your — oh the eye patch.’ JL: We gotta shot out Dolores, Dolores Ybarra — our wardrobe queen. The stuff she finds is just extraordinary. KT: She found several bedazzled eye patches, very Virginia. JB: Karrueche, I heard you researched exotic dancing by visiting Atlanta strip clubs. If Virginia were to dance in Atlanta, which club would she work at? KT: What’s the most poppin’ strip club in Atlanta? Onyx? Magic City? Follies? Cheetah is boring. I think Follies. Wait, no, because Follies is kinda nice like – Virginia comes from a ratchet place. But I guess Follies. I went to Follies during the day like 2’o’clock and did my research. ‘ JB: You guys have some musical numbers, you’re dancing this season. How was that? KT: Yeah I had to do that with the eye patch. JL: But they make it mesh so you can see a little bit. KT: Barely… JL: She’s still mad. Any surreal “Claws” moment, we love it. I come from like theater so any time we had free time I’d be like ‘let’s rehearse, like 5, 6, 7, 8.’ It feels like we are in school together or something. JB: Jenn’s character has a biracial daughter and this season her dad gets out of jail, your character really has to deal with these cultural issues, what did you think when you read that? JL: I really dug it, actually I pitched for him to get out of jail and for there to be that kind of conflict. It’s a microcosm of the tension and race relations that happen in a macro way. What happens when you’re afraid to lose something but you know you need to give up some of your control so your daughter can get a sense of her own culture? JB: Why is so hard to say no to Desna? She gets in trouble, gets out of trouble and doesn’t seem to know when to quit. KT: We’re very faithful but I think a part of us likes to live on the edge. We like the thrill. JL: Jenn tried to go to Tampa, but yeah I think we’re very faithful. It’s like saying no to your momma but also we want that bag. JB: Let’s talk about the relationships on the show — Jenn – she’s a drunk and he’s a crackhead — is there a happily ever after for you and Bryce? JL: I hope so. We’re both sober now and on the straight and narrow. He’s just my person. Jenn and Bryce they just get each other. And Kevin is just the best. KT: He is the best. JL: They get to work together more this season And they just laugh so much. JB: What about Virginia and Dean? KT: Ummm we are on a roller coaster this season, I can’t say much, I won’t say much, I don’t want to spoil but you’ll see. Source: Getty Kid Pleads Dallas To Stop The Violence After 13-Year-Old Malik Tyler Is Killed In Crossfire Senseless violence caused the death of a 13-year-old in Dallas and now video capturing the family’s grievance is packing a heartbreaking punch. According to Dallas News , middle schooler Malik Tyler was killed on Tuesday evening as he and two friends left a gas station in the 9400 block of Bruton Road, at North St. Augustine Drive. Tyler was only an innocent bystander caught in the crossfire of a moving vehicle shooting at another car. On Wednesday, officers said they arrested Datrail Deon Clayton, 21, as a suspect and he now faces a murder charge in the shooting. The corner where Tyler was shot has been problematic for years, making local residents and employees frustrated for the narcotic sales and gang violence that plagues the intersection. At a vigil on Wednesday, residents called for the city to shut down both the convenience store that adjoined the gas station and a car wash next door in honor of Tyler. “Do it for the kids,” someone said. Tyler’s vigil raised a lot of awareness to the surging violence in Dallas recently. According to Dallas News , last month alone had 41 homicides, the city’s highest monthly tally since the 1990s. Tyler’s mom, Tina Tyler, expressed her pain: “I don’t know what to say. Someone took my son from me.” A major heartbreaking moment occurred at the vigil when Malik’s friend MaQuesta Martin Jr. made a plea to stop the violence in the community. While remembering Malik, MaQuesta tearfully explained: “When I wanted to run away, he was there with me. When I was feeling down he was there with me. So pray for his family.” He continued: “I just want to say I love everybody. Can y’all just shut it down? Please stop the violence. There’s too many people getting hurt in Dallas. Just stop it. Love each other. Please!” Tyler’s mom added to the call for action, saying: “I hope that this goes nationwide, worldwide…that we do something to help our Black kids in this community. Because gun violence. Look at what happened. My son died here yesterday. This has been a great loss to my family.
