After all that the falsely accused man went through, he was the only one of his peers arrested during that fateful time who remained in NYC after they were released and cleared of charges. The other five guys migrated south. But why did Korey stay? He tells BlackTree TV, its simple math: “This is my roots. I can’t speak for no other. This is my roots. This my home. I have no problem visiting, but this is my home.” After his release, Korey partakes in the Innocence Project to help free more innocent incarcerated folks like him.

Ironically, despite our love and affection for those Black people, a great number of Americans despised the then-residents of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave as much as we despise the current residents of said address. Go figure. Anywho, one of the people who made their displeasure vocal was Pamela Taylor , the director of a West Virginia non-profit org called Clay County Development Corp. I’m tired of seeing an Ape in heels. Yes, Pamela capitalized “Ape”, something that even an ape would know not to do, but we digress. According to The Independent , Pamela is now in prison for fraud after being fired from her gig at the non-profit. A judge sentenced her to 10 months in prison for embezzling $18,000 in disaster relief funds from her former job. Money that was to aid desperate families who had undergone hardship after natural disaster. “There’s no such thing as a little bit of FEMA fraud,” said United States Attorney Mike Stuart, referring to the Federal Emergency Management Agency. “Taylor’s fraudulent scheme took FEMA dollars away from those who needed it the most… Federal disaster benefits are critical to rebuilding infrastructure, homes and lives – not for lining the pockets of individuals who suffered no loss A mayo-based devil, we say. Popular Youtube Vlogger Biannca Prince is being dragged for filth after insinuating her baby’s brown eyes aren’t pretty. Moments after giving birth to a healthy baby girl, Biannca Prince looked at her daughter and said, ‘I thought you were going to have pretty eyes.” Her husband quickly retorted, “She does have pretty eyes.” Record scratch. A clip from the video has since made its way around social media, catapulting it into viral status and prompting the couple to respond to all the backlash. Apparently Biannca and her husband Damien can’t believe she is being called out for being a “colorist” and stepped on their digital soap box to explain the “eye” comments. To bad the explanation is absolutely worse. “When I said I wish she had ‘pretty eyes,’ I didn’t mean she doesn’t have pretty eyes,” she said trying to explain. “When i said pretty eyes, I meant the term “green eyes.” At one point, she asks her husband has anyone ever complimented his brown eyes? To which he responds, “No.” And she says, “exactly.” Then goes into a story about her sisters, with brown eyes, have never been compliments, but strangers always told her mother how beautiful her eyes were. Seems Biannca clearly missed the point, let’s clarify. This isn’t about preference, Biannca can’t see how she put a higher value on colored eyes for the simple fact that they’re not brown. Because brown eyes aren’t seem as beautiful as blue, hazel, green or even light brown eyes. Colorism has shown us that the lighter your skin or eyes, the closer to White and the better. Period. Although… If you’re some lowlife still living off iTunes instead of the various options for streaming services then shame on you. No judgment though. According to CNBC , Apple announced at their annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) that they’ll be officially shutting down iTunes, its 18-year-old digital media software. To take its place, Mac users will have three separate apps for music, podcasts and TV. The transition will go down when the macOS Catalina, the latest Mac operating system, debuts in the fall. If you’re still someone who uses iTunes and has your loads of illegal downloads and favorite hard-to-find CDs uploaded to your library, rest assured. Apple confirmed that your iTunes content won’t just vanish from the digital universe. “Users will have access to their entire music library, whether they downloaded the songs, purchased them or ripped them from a CD,” a press release read. The company explained that when Mac users update their software, the music currently in their library will transfer to the Apple Music app. Meanwhile, T.V. and movie purchases will transfer to the Apple TV app. Mac users will be able to access the iTunes Music Store within the Music app, and they can buy movies and T.V. shows in the TV app. Windows users will witness no change in their iTunes experience, and iTunes Store gift cards are still valid. For folks who want to keep their digital files forever, you can feel free to download them to an external hard drive or upload them to a cloud service. It’s a new world folks, and Apple is running it… At least for now.

Early adds that Chief Keef is once again in civil contempt for violating a court order. She claims he is refusing to make his $10,713 a month support payments and currently owes $471,910, plus interest. Now she wants to get a judge involved to order Chief Keef to appear in court and explain why he is in contempt of court. Early and 23-year-old Keef share a daughter who was born in 2013. She previously sued Chief Keef for paternity and child support months after their baby was born. A judge initially ordered him to pay $2,500 a month in support, but she was later able to get the amount raised to $10,713 a month.
