After a report went out that the actor would possibly be returning to the series for its final season, Lee Daniels has shut down that plan via Twitter. Deadline reports : “Jussie will NOT be returning to Empire,” Daniels tweeted Tuesday afternoon following reports that the embattled actor’s character Jamal Lyon was being re-worked into scripts for the Fox series. A well-placed source told Deadline today that Smollett’s ongoing legal issues are partly to blame for him remaining on the sidelines. “There are still too many unknowns about what really occurred, why the charges were suddenly dropped and the effect it all has had on Empire for the network or the producers to feel Jussie can slip back into the show,” the individual said. Thus far, Smollett has kept a low profile since the shocking news that all charges were dropped. However, the actor’s ordeal is ongoing as the city is suing him for extending city resource s for the investigation into the alleged staged hate crime. @Variety @JoeOtterson This is not factual. According to the mother, the “I Don’t Like” rapper owes $500,000 in back child support payments. The Blast reports : According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Erica Early is accusing Keef of being way behind in child support for their daughter. In the newly filed docs, she claims the rapper is once again in civil contempt for violating a court order. She claims Keef refuses to make his $10,713 a month support payments and currently owes $471,910, plus interest. She is demanding a judge order Chief Keef appear in court and explain why he is in contempt of court. 43-year-old Early has a daughter with 23-year-old Keef, named Kimora Cozart, who was born in 2013. She sued the rapper for paternity and child support months after the child was born. A judge ordered him to pay $2,500 a month in support but she got the amount raised later to $10,713 a month. Linda Collins-Smith Is Found Dead From Gunshot Wound An Arkansas politician met a tragic end, according to The Hill , and now authorities are searching for answers. Former Arkansas state Sen. Linda Collins-Smith (R) was reportedly found dead from a gunshot wound at her Pocahontas, Ark. place this week. Her former press secretary Ken Yang told KATV that Collins-Smith’s neighbors reportedly heard gunshots a day or two before officials found the body. It’s not certain how long the 57-year-old had been dead when her body was found, but sources say she was wrapped in some sort of blanket and her body started to decompose. The incident is being investigated as a murder, according to KATV. Randolph County Sheriff Kevin Bell said officials don’t believe the public is in danger, and the sheriff’s department is leading the investigation along with the Arkansas State Police. The Arkansas GOP sent condolences for Collins-Smith’s death on Twitter, saying she “was a passionate voice for her people and a close member of our Republican family. Source: Prince Williams / Getty Clermont Twin To Serve One Year For Raiding Dead Man’s Bank Account The reality and social media star who admitted she stole about $20,000 from the bank account of a deceased man to fund her highflying social media lifestyle has started her sentence in connection with the case. Shannade Clermont, 25, turned herself in June 4 to the Dublin Federal Correctional Institute outside of Oakland, CA, according to public records obtained by BOSSIP. The prison is for about 1,200 female inmates deemed a low-security risk, and has a prison camp next door. Clermont admitted to financing her lifestyle in part with the debit card of a man she met on a “prostitution date,” attempting to spend some $20,000 in fraudulent charges like rent, designer clothing and electronics. A judge later blasted her for a “lack of character” before sentencing her to a year behind bars. Federal lockup records stated that her release date was “unknown.” Other famous inmates at FCI Dublin have included heiress Patty Hearst and Hollywood Madam Heidi Fleiss. Clermont’s mugshot hasn’t been made public because of privacy concerns, according to a spokesman for the Bureau of Prisons.

Further, Guzman won’t be given access to the general population commissary out of fear items purchases can be turned into weapons. TMZ reports : The former Mexican cartel kingpin recently filed a motion requesting at least 2 hours of outdoors recreation time per week while he’s held in custody at a federal prison in New York, plus access to the general pop commissary so he can buy goodies. Chapo was also looking to get access to some earplugs so he could sleep easy at night and get rid of ear pain he says he’s been experiencing in the joint. Well, a judge didn’t bite on any of it, and his reasoning is pretty damning. First, the court says Chapo’s request for outdoors time is a nonstarter (he’s currently being held under strict restrictions) because the U.S. government’s worried he’ll try to escape again. Nida, who was sentenced to eight years in prison for fraud charges, will be released from the halfway house in October. Back in January 2014, Nida was arrested and pleaded guilty in charges to a fraud scheme that according to prosecutors stole millions of dollars from over 50 people during a four year period. Nida had previously served five years in federal prison for auto title fraud before wedding Parks in 2009. The Harlem native, who has had a known affinity for the peddle driven vehicles, has inked a deal for his own signature two-wheeler. On Tuesday, June 4 BMX bike brand Redline announced their collaboration with him on an exclusive limited-edition bike and original merch line. The Hood Pope detailed how special this initiative is to him and his historic community. “When you think BMX bike in Harlem, you think Redline,” says A$AP Ferg, “This collaboration is something I was really involved in and passionate about.” Ferg originally debuted his exclusive Redline bike during his performance the Something In The Water festival in Virginia Beach. According to ABCNews , the Plain View Project has been conducting an investigation into 3,100 Facebook posts made by Philadelphia police and found over 300 racist or offensive comments made by 328 active-duty officers. Many of these offensive posts included language that promoted violence against Blacks, Muslims, and immigrants. Some of the posts have comment threads between multiple officers who have no fear of telling the internet how they REALLY feel about non-white people. Says organization founder Emily Baker-White: “We found a very high and concerning number of posts that appear to endorse, celebrate or glorify violence and vigilantism,” Baker-White told ABC News in an interview on Tuesday. “We included posts that we thought could affect public trust and policing.” “We also included posts,” she added, “that seemed to emit some sort of bias against a group of people — whether if that’s a minority faith, a minority race, ethnicity, immigration status, whatever it is. We saw a number of posts that appeared to denigrate those groups of people.” Police Commissioner Richard Ross commented about the internal investigation over these posts: “We have reviewed the social media transcriptions you provided, and find many of them to be not only incongruent with our standards and policies, but also troubling on a human level,” Ross said.
