Some straight folks in Boston filed a discrimination complaint against the City of Boston regarding this month’s Gay Pride parade in the city. The hetero haters have also decided to have a pride weekend of their own — a Straight Pride Parade. Carolyn Ryan, Assistant Managing Editor of the New York Times, shared a tweet on Thursday by hetoro hype man Mark Sahady, detailing the upcoming (and idiotic) Boston Straight Pride Parade that’s scheduled to take place in August. Sahady wrote: “We filed a discrimination complaint and it appears that the City of Boston understands they would lose in litigation. The city is now working with us on the parade. We will have the streets closed and be allowed floats and vehicles. The tentative date is 8/31 but will be finalized in the next few weeks.” “Straight Pride” parade planned in Boston. Even without a new album, the Bajan singer has been named the world’s wealthiest female artist thanks to a $600M fortune. According to Forbes , Rih Rih has banked more than Madonna, Céline Dion and even Beyoncé. It should be no surprise that music is just a small slice of Rihanna’s healthy financial pie. Says Forbes : Famous first as a singer, Robyn Rihanna Fenty, age 31, has since evolved into a style icon and makeup entrepreneur—and soon she’ll be the first black woman in charge of a major luxury fashion house. All those efforts add up to a $600 million fortune, making her the wealthiest female musician in the world, ahead of the likes of Madonna ($570 million), Céline Dion ($450 million) and Beyoncé ($400 million). Most of that comes not from music but from her partnership with LVMH, the French luxury goods giant run by billionaire Bernard Arnault. Rihanna (pronounced Ri-Ann-ah, not Ri-Ah-nah as she recently clarified) and LVMH co-own the makeup brand Fenty Beauty. It launched in September 2017 at Sephora, another LVMH brand, and online at FentyBeauty.com, quickly becoming a viral success. In the latest episode of Sneaker Shopping With Complex , the Migos’  Quavo makes us all proud when he links up with Joe La Puma to hit up Atlanta’s A Ma Maniere  where they talk kicks before he drops a King Kong sized grip on some official pieces of footwear. Reminiscing about how long lines were outside of the sneaker spot for the latest Jordan that he couldn’t get because his mama “wasn’t having that. She wasn’t having me being outside by myself waiting for no shoe,” Q now enjoys the privilege of being able to copp whatever pair of shoes he wants whenever he wants them. After is was all said and done Quavo went on to drop $11K on some Yeezy 700’s, Bapes, Adidas, Nikes, and Just Don apparel amongst other pieces. Best believe hypebeasts will notice that the “L A M B T A L K” rapper didn’t cop not a single pair of Jordans. Lord, how the game done changed. Source: Michael Kovac / Getty JAY-Z continues to put past beefs behind him with the help of others. Apparently Jim Jones was the plug so the Brooklyn MC could patch up his differences with Cam’ron. As spotted on  Complex Elliott Wilson and B-Dot hosted Jones for a second time on their Rap Radar podcast. While the two journalists have yet to release the episode in full, a teaser already has the internets buzzing about this appearance. The clip in question shows the hosts expressing their individual gratitude for the multiple magical moments Hov provided the crowd at his recent B-Sides concert at Webster Hall . Naturally, the topic of Cam’ron hitting the stage came up and come to find out Jim played a big hand in bringing the two former rivals together. “I got a call saying JAY about to do a special B-side concert,” Jones explained. “And I’m like ‘Cool, can I get some tickets? What’s up?’ I thought that was the call that he was pulling up. They like ‘Yo, he wants to perform Welcome to New York City.’” As the conversation progressed it dawned on Jim that he had to step up for the culture. “They asked me and now I’m like ‘Come on, don’t do this to me,’” he said. “Like, why y’all putting me under this one? Like I’m just listening and in my mind I’m like f*ck it. I’m just asking a question [to Cam]. He’s going to say ‘yeah’ or he’s going to say ‘no’. But in my mind I’m like…if you know Cam this could…cause some sh*t…or…might not even sweat it. Might just say some slick sh*t and leave it alone and all that sh*t. So…yeah, hopefully he like ‘yup.’” According to Capo the call was an easy one to make as Killa clearly has evolved. “Right after I got the call I called him, I said ‘Yo, JAY is doing the B-Side concert, right?’ [Cam] like ‘Yeah.’ [And I say] ‘He trying to perform Welcome to New York City’ and they wanted me to know if maybe you might just want to perform. You know, I don’t know, you know I’m just trying to do what I do.’ He like, ‘Yeah run it. Jet Life Creative Director CJ Wallis announced he was putting together footage for an upcoming documentary to honor the life of the late rapper. Deadline reports : Filmmaker and Jetlife Creative Director CJ Wallis announced today via Twitter that Margrette Bird Pictures, a film company he found with Mallory Kennedy, is working on a documentary about the late rapper Mac Miller. “So, over the next year I’m going to start collecting interviews & content to make the definitive @MacMiller documentary for his family, friends & fans,” he tweeted Monday morning. Wallis then encouraged everyone to share the post and tag anyone who would be good to interview for the docu. The outlet adds that Wallis, who has worked alongside Curren$y and Jet Life affiliates Wiz Khalifa among others, wanted to put out the film via New Orleans-based Margrette Bird Pictures at an upcoming later date. However, the family has asked Wallias and Margrette Bird Pictures to hold off on the project. UPDATE: We tweeted our intentions to begin developing a doc on Mac over the next year. Source: Tony Forte/WENN / WENN Drake Is Working On A New Docuseries For Showtime A four-part docuseries focused on the hurdles many immigrant soldiers in the U.S. face, titled Ready for War , has been picked up by Showtime. The series is executive produced by Drake  and Future the Prince, among others, and marks the Dream Crew duo’s latest venture into the television realm. DreamCrew, if you’re unfamiliar, is a co-venture between Aubrey Drake Graham and Adel Future Nur.  “DreamCrew currently functions as both a management company and entertainment group; Producing Film, Television and special Projects as well as overseeing Drake’s professional career and business portfolio.” According to a report from Deadline , the show will take a close look at the “cause and effect of deporting U.S. military veterans and their forced recruitment by Mexican drug cartels.” Andrew Renzi and Nick Boak co-created Ready for War , which will touch on other issues related to military life including PTSD and substance abuse. The series will also feature interviews with politicians, journalists, and more on the unsettling topic of deporting these veterans. Before this upcoming foray into television, Drake and Future the Prince also had a hand in HBO’s highly anticipated Euphoria starring Zendaya. The series—an American rendition of the Israeli series of the same name—premieres later this month. Not only that, Eva Camby is fed up with the baller reportedly fathering a secret child during their 14 years of marriage. Apparently, Camby was dragged to court woman named Noemi Valdez in December 2018 over a child he fathered in 2011. Camby pays $4,000 a month in child support for the baby girl, Makiah Camby, according to The Blast . Before they reached a custody agreement, Valdez accused Camby of having a “pattern of child neglect.”   Source: Djamilla Rosa Cochran / Getty Eva Camby ( pictured right above )and Marcus Camby share two daughters. She named his secret seed as one of the reasons she decided to split the marriage. According to divorce documents obtained by The Blast , Eva Camby accuses Marcus of causing her personal injuries and claims he “repeatedly and continuously committed adultery, including fathering an extra-martial child in her divorce petition. Eva wants their prenuptial agreement they signed in 2005 to be tossed, saying it is “unconscionable” and claims she signed the deal “under duress.” Marcus Camby has responded to the divorce petition. He asked the judge to enforce their 2005 prenuptial agreement. He is also seeking 50/50 custody of their kids and wanted the judge to order his ex to not trash him on social media or hide their kids from him. Yikes!
