Source: Eric Audras / Getty Nine-Year-Old Hit By Speeding Car Explains Her Recovery Over a month ago, you might remember the shocking video of a 9-year-old getting hit by a speeding car in her yard. Well now, the young girl is recovering and she’s here to share her story. The viral video that spread across the Internet showed LaDerihanna Holmes playing in her yard, when out of nowhere, a car plowed through the yard and hit Holmes right before driving away. According to Channel 2 , LaDerihanna was left with a broken pelvis, a fractured skull and other injuries. Her friend also faced injuries. LaDerihanna is now at home unable to walk yet. She uses a wheelchair or a walker to get around, and she spends her time going through rehab while being homeschooled. LaDerihanna told Channel 2 that she hasn’t watch the clip of the car crashing into her, however, she does remember the sounds. “Tires screeching,” LaDerihanna said. “My pelvic bone was injured in three places.” DeKalb County police said both the driver and another man inside the vehicle hopped out seconds after the crash, then they took off running. Gabriel Fordham, 28, eventually turned himself into police and remains in jail. He originally said that he lost control of the car because he was being carjacked, however, a judge disputed Fordham’s account. LaDerihanna’s mom also isn’t here for Fordham’s story. “He let (the other passenger) in and they were with him,” Charlette Bolton said. Meanwhile, it’s great to know LaDerihanna is on the journey to recovery. With more rehab, she hopes to have her right leg functioning properly in the future. “I don’t get to do the things I usually do, but I’m OK,” LaDerihanna said. As for Fordham, LaDerihanna had this to say: “I feel like it was a cowardly thing to do,” she said. “You ran me over, but I’m going to get better real soon. Don’t think you hurt me too much.” Bloop! Source: Hill Street Studios / Getty Student Banned From Prom Over Racist Sign Promposals have become the most anticipated part of prom season, aside from the outfits — but some people just take things too far. An Ohio student has been banned from attending prom after his school district claimed his promposal sign used racist language. The sign read, “If I Was Black, I’d Be Picking Cotton. But I’m White, So I’m Picking You For Prom.” Janice Wyckoff, the superintendent at Clear Fork Valley Local Schools, told reporters: “To be frank with you I thought, ‘Oh my goodness; this is awful. Kids need to understand, when you’re celebrating things it doesn’t give you a pass on using inappropriate racial slurs. I don’t believe that this is any group think on the part of the student body. This is one person making a bad decision that’s going to reflect on everybody. This is actually a terrible day in the Clear Fork Valley.” The student has not been identified, and Wyckoff doesn’t know if the student is a junior or senior. She added that the student is remorseful, has deleted the social media post and learned the power of his words. Mmmhmm.

Source: Peter Dazeley / Getty Mother Slits Kids Throats In Street Then Surrenders At Police Station A mom is accused of slitting the throats of her two young children with a razor and leaving them bleeding on a Bronx street corner according to NY Daily News reports. Shanice Martin allegedly slashed the necks of her two children — a 2-year-old girl and a 6-year-old boy — around 8:20 p.m. Saturday on a street corner cops said. Panicked pedestrians saw the wounded children and flagged down a passing police cruiser, which rushed them to Lincoln Hospital. The children’s throats were cut “from ear to ear” police sources said. Her kids are expected to survive. Covered in blood, Martin, 24, showed up a few minutes after the attack two blocks away at the 42nd Precinct stationhouse, where she handed them the razor she used and surrendered. “Go ahead and arrest me,” the woman said as she handed the blood-soaked blade over, sources said. Cops charged her with assault, child abandoment, endangering the welfare of a child, and weapon possession. She is undergoing a psychiatric evaluation. Shanice Martin’s brother Travone Lango said his sister was estranged from the family and may have just “snapped.” “She used to take medicine in the past. She never used to act like that. She was probably under a lot of pressure.” Lango’s mother is taking care of Martin’s two wounded children, her brother said. “I feel bad for them,” he said of his nephew and niece. “I hope they’re OK.”

G Herbo was arrested in Atlanta last month after cops said he assaulted Ariana Fletcher during an argument. According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Herbo’s been charged with one count of misdemeanor battery. Prosecutors are accusing him of intentionally hurting Ari by dragging her by her hair and scratching her arm badly enough to leave visible wounds.

We’re told the girlfriend informed a family member about the altercation, which led to cops being called and Raz B being arrested. Raz insists he did not purposely strike or choke her. Law enforcement sources tell us police will be investigating to see what led to the altercation, and some evidence may include surveillance footage because it happened in a parking lot area.

This past Sunday, their battle finally began and, to our surprise, it was also over in about an hour. If you tuned in, you know the Night King (played by Vladimír Furdík ) lost his (life?) at the hand of everyone’s favorite assassin Arya Stark ( Maisie Williams ) in a jaw-dropping scene . Now, in an interview with Variety , Furdík says filming that episode was one of the hardest days of his life. He also gives fans some insight into the Night King’s motivation. Source: Helen Sloan/HBO / Helen Sloan/HBO On what he thought of this weekend’s episode: “When I saw this I said, ‘Oh My god.’ The music when I’m walking to Bran, it was amazing, I was so proud to be a part of this show. My daughter, she is very critical of everything I do, and she just said, ‘Wow, that’s unbelievable,’ and she was very happy. She is always critical when I am a stunt man and fight, but if she loved it, for me that beats what anyone else says.” On what it was like to shoot that final scene with Arya: “This was one of the hardest days of my life. I did many difficult stunts, running through fire, many crazy things. But this moment with Arya when I grab her, and the emotions from Maisie were so strong, I felt like I spent all my energy that day. It was raining, it was cold, it wasn’t easy for Maisie to jump at the right time, it wasn’t easy for me to grab her at the right time, it was the most difficult thing to do in front of a camera.” On the Night King’s motivation: “He wants revenge… because somebody, many years ago, made some mistake and he became the Night King, and he didn’t want to be the Night King.” “He was like now I have a way to go to war,” he adds. “Now I kill everybody because you made me the Night King and made me live seven or 10 thousand years behind the wall in a cold country. In a loving show of support, Dwyane Wade, Gabrielle Union , and other celebrities rallied around Shelby’s mother and donated funds to provide a proper memorial service. TMZ reports : Sources tell TMZ … the actress and NBA star are part of a group of celebs — which also includes Ludacris and Janelle Monae — donating money to help cover Nigel Shelby’s funeral. Nigel is the 15-year-old who took his own life nearly 2 weeks ago. We’re told the effort was spearheaded by Pinky Cole — owner of the popular ATL restaurant Slutty Vegan — and “Master of None” star Lena Waithe, who enlisted their famous friends to help out. Nigel’s mother, Camika, had said Nigel suffered from depression and struggled with his identity. Our sources wouldn’t say how much money was raised, but we know it was enough to cover the expense of Nigel’s tombstone, funeral service … and a separate amount to support Camika.
