As has been proven numerous times over the past year and a half or so, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Jen Harley simply cannot stay away from each other. Through horrible personal media fights… to various arrests for domestic violence… and, most recently, alleged cocaine use and kidnapping , the effed up couple continues to get back together. But we can safely say this actually will NOT be the case for at least a few more days. Why? Because the legal system now prevents Jen and Ronnie from even being in the same room with one another. Two days after Ortiz-Magro allegedly attacked Jen with a knife, locked himself and his young daughter inside of a home and had to be tasered by police, the Los Angeles Police Department has granted Harley an emergency order of protection against Ronnie. He must stay at least 100 yards away from his girlfriend and also from the home they share in Las Vegas. The order is in place until October 11. If Harley wishes for Ronnie to be forced to remain this same distance away from her for the foreseeable future, she can go to court and have a judge issue a long-term restraining order against the Jersey Shore star. We’ll have to wait and see if that happens. For now, Jen feels a need to keep Ronnie far away from her after the reality stars engaged in yet another loud and ugly argument early this past Friday morning. Cops were eventually called to the premises after Ortiz-Magro reportedly chased after Jen and his daughter, the former of whom had run out of the rented home the family had been occupying out of fear of what Ronnie might do. According to the Harley, Ronnie threatened her witha a knife and granned 18-month old Ariana out of her arms. She says he then took the child back inside the house and refused to let the police enter. Hence why they had to break the door down, tase Ronnie and handcuff him to a gurney. Ronnie was then arrested for both assault and also for kidnapping; he could very well lose custody of Ariana as a result. “The reporting of the alleged incident relating to Ronnie Magro yesterday is based upon pure speculation and innuendo,” Ortiz-Magro’s attorney, Scott E. Leemon, said in a statement to on Saturday, adding: “We are currently conducting our own investigation and will have no further comment until that has been concluded.” View Slideshow: Ronnie Magro: I’m Innocent, Bro! I Was Just Protecting My Daughter! Neither Ronnie or Jen had addressed the arrest/incident in public. Surveillance footage from a neighbor’s camera, however, does depict Harley trying to get help while carrying Ariana during the alleged incident. Jen would claim she was attempting to get Ariana away from her cocaine-fueled father. According to a new report, though, Ronnie would claim that Jen was actually the one trying to kidnap Ariana and that he was merely trying to protect his toddler. He also says he never used a knife. “Officers responded to a battery in progress in the 7200 block of Woodrow Wilson Drive at around 2:40 a.m.,” the Los Angeles Police Department said in a statement. “Suspect and victim were involved in some kind of physical altercation. “When officers [were] on location, the suspect was uncooperative. Officers had to use a taser so there was minor use of force that occurred.” Now, the question must be asked: Should Ronnie be fired from Jersey Shore ? VOTE BELOW: And the Winner is? Absolutely! While her sister Jill Duggar is finally realizing that kids will ruin your life , Jinger has been more or less living it up in California. For the first time in her life, she can make her own clothing choices, even if that means wearing “skimpy” outfits that her dad would hate. Jinger has great taste. In a new wedding photo, she is stunning fans with her style. And Jeremy and Felicity don’t look half-bad, either. “I love Autumn weddings,” Jinger Duggar Vuolo proclaims in the caption of this touching family photo. Here, we see Jinger wearing a navy blue dress. What it covers in sleeves it makes up for in skirt length, and the lower hem leaves Jinger’s knees exposed even when she’s standing. The platforms in her sandals give her diminutive height a bit of a boost, though she’s still considerably shorter than Jeremy. Her hair remains blonde — a move that continues to shock some longtime Duggar fans to their cores. The family of three flew out from California to a familiar state, Texas. There, they were guests of two friends, Cade Foehner and Gabby Barrett, as they tied the knot. Cade and Gabby actually competed against each other in Season 16 of American Idol . While both couples have been friends for some time, Jinger and Jeremy were more than simple guests. Jeremy actually officiated the wedding, as well, which had a very rustic motif (as you may be able to tell by the old wood background, above). It shouldn’t really come as a surprise that Jinger and Jeremy are good friends with Cade and Gabby. Though it’s believed that the two couples only started hanging out early this year, they have a very close bond. Both couples share a strong sense of religious adherence (all involved are Christians). And both couples participate in similar ministries. Jeremy has previously joked on social media that Cade and Gabby were grooming him and Jinger to perform as a musical duo. It was a joke. It’s also notable that Gabby gets along very well with adorable little Felicity. It’s not clear when (or if) Cade and Gabby intend to welcome a child of their own. But we could see how cute little Felicity could ignite a baby fever in just about anyone. In the mean time, fans are singing the praises of Jinger’s sense of style and fashion. She wore such a tasteful, beautiful dress to her friends’ wedding. And it’s just the sort of thing that her parents would never have dreamt of allowing her to wear. Some fans have wondered if, between Jinger’s move to California and her husband’s beliefs about dress codes, Jinger is straying from her family. While it’s possible that her dressing like a human being and not like a pile of wrinkled earth tones has raised some eyebrows … … We should keep in mind that Jinger isn’t really “straying.” According to the Duggar fertility cult’s beliefs, daughters are their father’s property until they are traded off to an approved husband. So even if Jim Bob believes that seeing a woman’s shin is tantamount to motorboating her, it’s officially Jeremy’s “call” how Jinger dresses. And Jeremy is firmly of the belief that his savior has bigger priorities than who is wearing shorts. View Slideshow: Counting On Sneak Peek: Jinger Duggar’s Rebellion, A Tragic Death, And MANY Pregnancies!
Jinger Duggar has developed a well-earned reputation as the most rebellious of all the Duggar daughters. The mother of one lives a pretty tame lifestyle by most standards, but she’s parted with her parents’ views in a number of significant ways. For example, Jinger’s decision to wear pants in violation of her family’s dress code might receive the most attention, but that’s just one of many ways in which she’s strayed from Jim Bob’s belief system. First, Jinger married Jeremy Vuolo , a man her father openly disapproved of. Recently, Jinger and Jeremy moved to Los Angeles , which again, might not seem like the kind of thing that would create a rift in the family. But LA is a long way from Tontitown, Arkansas in more ways than one. And Jinger’s decision to relocate to a bastion of West Coast liberalism created such a stir that insiders are claiming she’s been disowned by Jim Bob and Michelle . We don’t know if the situation has really gotten that bad, but we do know that Jinger seems less and less concerned with her parents’ arbitrary rules. As we were reminded last week, the Duggars don’t celebrate Halloween . “From the beginning of our marriage, we just kind of felt like we didn’t want to celebrate that holiday. But we enjoy the harvest celebration,” Michelle wrote on her blog. “Our church fellowship has had different celebrations through the years that we’ve been a part of, ones where the children can play games and receive candy and toys and do all kinds of fun things, like a cake walk,” she continued. No real surprise there. After all, if it’s fun, the Duggars are generally opposed to fun of any kind, and day that celebrates devils, witches, and ghosts seem like the sort of thing that would leave Michelle clutching her crucifix. But based on the most recent pic of Jinger’s daughter, Felicity (below), it seems the Vuolos might be more accepting of traditional Halloween celebrations. Jeremy is much more liberal than Jinger’s parents, but the couple still subscribes to a very old school, evangelical belief system. In other words, he’ll be the one to decide if Felicity gets to go trick-or-treating one day. And fans think he just might allow it. “I could see Jeremy going either way on the topic,” one follower commented on Jinger’s pumpkin pic. “I hope she puts Felicity in the most scandalous costume imaginable… I want biker chick,” another remarked. We don’t know about that part — but it does seem like Jinger is bracing her parents for yet another minor act of defiance. Source: Kia Caldwell / Kia Caldwell Name: Tazah Richardson IG: @tazahthemodelvixen Agency: Van Zandt Management Claim To Fame: Tazah Richardson went from staring at models in store windows to showing up on the cover of Model World Magazine. Growing up as a plus-size child with slight difficulties learning in Northwest D.C. Tazah Richardson was faced with judgement everywhere she turned. Everything from her academic performance to her address was criticized by the people around her, with her size being the primary offender. She told HelloBeautiful how the constant judgement impacted her and how she overcame it in an exclusive interview. “I had really low self-esteem. As a kid I stayed back in the first grade, and I was much bigger than all the other kids. In the second grade I was bigger than my second grade teacher which was super weird and I got teased a lot. As a kid I didn’t have very many friends .” The children in her life weren’t the only ones who hurled negative comments at Richardson. Source: FG Trade / Getty Cincinnati City Councilman Chris Seelbach wants to propose a law that would prevent discrimination against natural hair and hairstyles in relation to race. The Councilman told the Cincinnati Enquirer, “People of color have been forced to regard natural and popular hairstyles – such as bantu knots , box braids , cornrows, dreadlocks , or Afros – as liabilities in the workplace, housing and public accommodations.” The law would allow the city to investigate complaints of discrimination against natural hair and hairstyles. If discrimination is found, there is a fine of up to $1000.00 (a $100.00 per day) until the discriminatory practice is corrected. There will be a public discussion on the proposal scheduled for Tuesday with the City Council’s Arts, Youth & Inclusion Committee. The council will vote on a decision on Wednesday. Earlier this year, California passed The Crown Act , a law preventing discrimination for natural hair. NYC released an anti-hair discrimination guideline for people of color and then banned discrimination against natural hair and hairstyles. It’s great to see that states and cities are standing up to protect people of color and allow them the freedom to wear their hairstyles in the manner they choose. Historically, Black people have been inhibited from wearing the hairstyle of their choice in public and live in the fear of being turned down from a job for rocking their natural tresses. We are just moving towards a time where all natural hair textures, particularly Type 4 are being catered to in society and seen more in ads. It’s time for workplaces to follow suit. Busking is not only a way for performers to get their music and art out, but also to make money. I have no qualms with the high end brand using this creative manner to launch their latest line; however, could they have supported more artists? What would this have looked like if they had created a band for Willow, using musicians who actually busk in the London tube? That would have been a phenomenal platform for them. Personally, I always have to give a slight side eye when a high end brand uses an activity or borrows from a culture that lacks socio-economic resources to further promote their brands and sales. Busking is not something rich people do (and it’s highly doubtful you would see a musician doing this in a subway or tube station wearing Prada). If the brand was going to borrow from the musical culture, they could have shined lights on musicians doing this as well, using Willow Smith’s platform (and their own) to help amplify it. If you’re going to be culture adjacent, benefit the culture. Beauties, what do you think? Were you feeling the performance?
