Trace Bates Confirms Romance with Chaney Grace: Will They Last?!?

A star of Bringing Up Bates would like to bring something to your attention. Earlier this week, Trace Bates confirmed what many on the Internet had been buzzing over for weeks: Yup, he sure is dating Chaney Grace! The reality star spoke to In Touch Weekly about this romance, making it evident he’s very excited to see where it’s going. “These past 8 months of getting to know each other have been amazing and we look forward to what God has in store for us,” Trace told the  tabloid , going on to detail how the twomet: He says they initially crossed paths in Colorado when their families were on a skiing trip at the same time. What great and special luck, right?!? Bates reiterated the sentiment above in a caption to the following Instagram photo, writing: It’s been a great 8 months getting to know this beautiful girl! According to various sources, Bringing Up Bates will return to UPtv on September 19 — and viewers will see Trace introduce Chaney to the family this season. Grace resides in Texas, but this hasn’t stopped Trace from seeing her as often as he can. Even if means driving through the entire night. In other words: The relationship sounds very serious, a fact emphasized by the report that Chaney will play a role on the “I Love You Day” celebration on an upcoming episode “I think one of the biggest and best surprises of the whole party was for me, was when Trace showed up … he was not in costume, but he had a friend,” Kelly Jo told In Touch in an exclusive teaser clip. Trace’s brother, Nathan, also revealed it was the “last thing” he expected to see. Bringing Up Bates centers around Gil and Kelly Jo, who got married in 1987 and eventually welcomed 19 kids into the world. Think of them like the Duggars, just with fewer child molestation scandals . In fact, Carlin Bates is very close to Joy-Anna Duggar — and she recently shared some major news of her own. “We are beyond thrilled to be expecting our first child,” Carlin told Romper this month , adding in further detail and excitement: “Spending everyday with your best friend and building a life together has already exceeded our happiest dreams. We are so happy at the thought of parenting together. “Three at the table sounds perfect! God is so good.’

Kelly Dodd: REALLY Engaged to Rick Leventhal After Only Two Months?!

It's probably true that Kelly Dodd has never even had a threesome , but that doesn't mean that she doesn't chase down romance. She has been dating Rick Leventhal for a couple of months, and has now revealed that she's engaged . Some fans think that she's joking. Castmates Vicki and Tamra think that she's lying, drunk, or both. Kelly Dodd was giving boyfriend Rick Leventhal a rave review on Instagram when one of her followers chimed in. The fan appreciated how Rick is “normal and works for Fox,’ which the fan expressed meant that he earned a “10/10 perfect score.” While not everyone would consider a Fox News correspondent to have a normal or even acceptable job, Kelly's reply was a massive shocker. Kelly wrote: “that’s weird because we are getting married 10/10/2020.” Announcing an engagement was surprising enough. Announcing the wedding date was absolutely mind-boggling. Kelly's rivals from The Real Housewives of Orange County  aren't buying Kelly's announcement for a second. On Watch What Happens Live , Andy Cohen (who's still trying to make that beard happen) asks what the ladies think of Kelly's post. “They just met!” Tamra Judge screeches from the audience, where she is wearing a mic. “They just met!” “I'm literally in shock,” Vicki — who looks great, by the way — admits to Andy. “Like, it is ridiculous,” the OG in the OC points out. “I don't even think it's been two months.” When Andy asks Vicki and Tamra whether they think that Kelly's announcement was real, they give similar answers. “I think Kelly wants to be married,” Vicki expresses. “No,” Tamra says immediately. “She was probably drunk.” “You saw her this season asking, um, Doctor Brian about rings,” Vicki points out. Tamra cracks: “She's been reading Brandi [Glanville]'s book: Tweeting, Drinking, and Tweeting ,” Tamra suggests. “Oh my god,” Andy marvels. “You're in a Twitter war with Brandi but you're also plugging her book. I like it!” Yes, Tamra and Brandi's Twitter feud has been vicious on both sides. Vicki then gets into a bit of flirtation with Andy's other guest, but we're reasonably confident that it's going nowhere — for a lot of reasons. Still, Vicki never gave a solid “yes” or “no” as to what she believes that Kelly really meant by her comment. Is she just desperate enough to be married that she'd make up a wedding date as a joke? Or … is she desperate enough to be married that she's already engaged to a man she's known for only a couple of months? In case you hadn't noticed, Kelly has very much broken things off with Doctor Brian. (A shocking number of people who follow Kelly on Instagram apparently can't be bothered to keep up with her life; Instagram is where she announced the split) In a vague video that appeared to be filled with alcohol, she announced her breakup to her fans and followers. While it's true that she was strongly fishing for an engagement a few months ago, clearly something had changed. Kelly intimated that Doctor Brian knew exactly why she was ditching him. She did not opt to explain to her fans, however. Our guess? Kelly isn't engaged just yet, but decided to “joke” about how much she'd like to marry Rick. You know, like when two friends “joke” about wanting to bone the other and it's all fun and games until the other suggests that they're down for it? Well, that may be Kelly's situation. That wedding date will remain a “joke” right up until Rick goes “actually, want to really do it?”

Meri Brown Poses with Aurora Brown, May Not Be Done with Sister Wives

Might there be hope for Meri Brown yet? Might this long-time Sister Wives cast member actually be sticking around for the long run? A new photo on her official Instagram page makes us think this may actually be case. Amid rumors of her unhappiness in her marriage to Kody Brown , the reality star took to her social media platform last week to share a new selfie of her and Aurora Brown’s fun night out at an Andy Grammer concert. Aurora, of course, is the daughter of Kody and Robyn Brown. “Super fun night at the [Andy Grammer] concert tonight with this cute thing!” Brown, the first of Kodi’s wives, captioned the snapshot, which featured herself and Aurora posing in the crowd with the stage to their backs. Why is this notable? First, as many fans pointed out, because Meri and Aurora actually look a lot alike. “Two lovely Women. She actually looks a lot like you,” one individual wrote in a comment that drew more than a dozen Likes of agreement, while another added: “She looks like you 20 years ago. So beautiful.” Secondly, though, because we keep hearing rumors that Meri is sick of her situation with Kody and sick of being on the show in general. And while these rumors may be true, it has to say something positive about Meri’s state of mind when she’s out and about with Aurora, who is not even her biological daughter. Meri and Kody share a single child together, daughter Mariah Brown. Meanwhile, Kodi shares an additional 13 children with his three other wives. Yes, 13 more children! It’s quite a hectic set-up, and it’s one that has seemingly brought out a very bitter side in Meri of late. “Not everyone likes me. That’s ok, I like me,” she recently wrote on Instagram , standing up strongly for herself and adding: “People will criticize my shoes. That’s ok, I have foot issues and need to be careful what kind of shoes I wear to not cause too much pain. “People will mock my necklace because it’s not centered in this photo. That’s fine, I just did a little twirl and didn’t stop to check that it was straight before this photo was taken.” She doesn’t done, either. “People talk trash about my dark front tooth, that’s fine, I had fun as kid and fell and it killed it, but it didn’t kill me,” the TLC personality continued. “People will criticize my choice of outfit because they’re not comfortable with pattern mixing, but that’s ok, because I am, and I’m the one wearing this and I feel confident.” We applaud Meri for sticking it to all trolls, while we continue to wonder why she doesn’t remove herself from his unhealthy relationship. The bond she has Aurora, along with other kids in the family, likely explains a lot. Concluded Meri in her aforementioned post: People love to talk trash about my business choices, that’s ok, they don’t realize the truth because they just “google” their information. That’s ok, of all people, I’m one who knows what kind of “information” one gets when “googling” something. The fact of the matter is, I’m living MY life for ME, and I’m happy with it. Just a few short weeks ago, Todd Chrisley was a paragon of wholesomeness and traditional values for millions of loyal fans.  Now, we know this guy is one of the worst people ever to make a career for himself as a reality star — which is reeeeally saying something. In case you haven’t been keeping up on this stunning turn of events, it all started with news that Chrisley had been indicted for tax evasion . Todd and his wife have been accused of concealing millions in assets, and if convicted, they could both wind up in prison for a very long time. That’s pretty unsavory stuff, but it was nothing compared to what would be revealed in the wake of his arrest. Todd’s 29-year-old daughter has now accused her father of blackmail and extortion, and the details of her allegations are truly appalling. It seems that Todd is in possession of a sex tape featuring Lindsie Chrisley and Robbie Hayes of The Bachelorette fame. Lindsie was married at the time, and Todd claims she also had an affair with Bachelorette alum Josh Murray. Obviously, whether that’s true or not, the ones who should really be ashamed of their behavior are Todd and his son Chase, who allegedly assisted him in the scam. Now, Hayes is speaking out in defense of Lindsie and confirming that she’s being victimized by a very depraved man. “It bums me out but at the same time, I’ve known about this. This isn’t the first time the sex tape has been held over my head,” Hayes told E! News this week. “We were blackmailed with it two years ago. I knew it existed,” he added. “It’s an unfortunate situation. I hope Lindsie is able to push this aside because she’s always had such a great reputation,” Hayes continued. “She’s a sweetheart. She’s a great mom. It’s heartbreaking,”  On her podcast this week, Lindsie stated her father’s actions have “wrecked” her life , despite the fact that she had no involvement in the alleged crimes. “To be perfectly honest, the years that were covered in the indictment, most of those years I was not in communication with my parents. So a lot of the years from, like, early on that they covered, I was in college so I wasn’t even, like, living at home,” she told co-host Kailyn Lowry. “And through college, I don’t know if I’ve shared my whole story or not, but through college, I didn’t talk to my parents. So I definitely, like, would’ve had no knowledge of anything. Lindsie went on to detail the horrific actions of her father and brother” “I just really don’t appreciate it. I personally don’t think that the statements that were made were in good taste and people have to understand like what led me to this point,” the 29-year-old explained. “I also was sent screenshots of comments and photos from [brother] Chase’s Instagram page where he had intentionally cropped me out of photos and then the caption was like ‘family’ or you know, something like that, which is good and great,” she added. “That’s fine if that’s how you feel, but also be mature enough to realize that since I left the show, I have not gone and aired any dirty laundry.” Obviously, this situation seems destined to get worse before it gets better. And if that means more suffering ahead for Todd Chrisley, so be it!

Tori Roloff Fires Back (HARD!) Against Accusations of Animal Cruelty

Tori Roloff has been forced to defend herself against allegations that she recently placed her beloved dog in danger of drowning. No, really, it’s true. We’re talking about the same Tori Roloff who comes across online and on television as perhaps the most loving and caring reality star alive. Earlier this week, Tori and husband Zach took their son, Jackson, and their dog, Murphy, on a fun outdoor outing. You can see one photo from the trip above and you can visit Tori’s Instagram Stories to see a few others, most notable of Murphy in the water. It appears as if this was the first time the Roloffs had ever taken their canine on such an adventure, considering what Tori wrote about it online. “Today we learned that Murph can swim,” she captioned one of these photos on her account. Everything seems pretty harmless and fun so far, right? Tori then added an image of her pooch enjoying the water activity, and then another slide that said: “Here’s a pic of Murphy clearly saving Zach and not the other way around.” This implication — that Murphy might need to be saved in some way — must have set the trolls off because she later added another slide defending the situation. “Before I get the hate and told how irresponsible I am with our dog … there were like three guys wading in the water (which was up to their waist) ready to grab him if his head ever went under (which it did not),” Tori added. She even included this note: “Murphy is a brute!” The Little People, Big World star later shared a snapshot of the family dog gazing off at a kayak in the water where she indicated her 29-year-old husband was hanging out. “This is how he spent the rest of the afternoon,” Tori wrote. “I guess we know who his person is.” Tori, of course, is pregnant with her second child. She has enough to worry about these days — as noted HERE — without strangers online taking issue with something so, well… stupid. We also with this was the first time Tori had to clap back at morons on social media. Alas, it wasn’t even the first time she had to do so in regard to Murphy. In June, the reality TV star fired back at those who criticized her son’s relationship with his dog after she shared a clip of the two of them playing together. Seriously, people gave Roloff grief over this sort of adorable footage. “I have gotten a lot of feedback on how we let Jackson play with Murphy and I feel like I just need to clear something up,” she started a series of slides on her Instagram Story on June 19, continuing as follows: “Please know that I am VERY aware of safety when it comes to animals. Murphy LOVES Jackson and often times engages him in play. “He is also very protective of J and I know in my bone of bones he would do nothing to hurt J on purpose. (The occasional knockdown happens but that’s life with a 120-pound uncoordinated teenager.)” “We know Murphy would never hurt Jackson. So that being said let them be best buds. Dean Unglert vs. Connor Saeli: Dude Feud Over Caelynn Miller-Keyes Heats Up!

At first, it looked like they were just two young, beautiful ships passing in the night. But these days, Dean Unglert and Caelynn Miller-Keyes are banging in “Pleasure Town.” By which we mean Dean’s van. Mostly. Unfortunately, their sweet romantic getaway may have sparked a feud between Dean and Caelynn’s ex, Connor. On Wednesday, Deanie Babies sat down with Nick Viall for an episode of the latter’s podcast, The Viall Files . Dean explains how he first nervously met Connor Saeli after their Bachelor in Paradise love triangle.  “I was like, ‘Hey, man. It’s nice to meet you,” he says. Dean even complimented him, saying: “You’re even more handsome in person [than] you are on television and from a distance.” “We didn’t really talk much,” the 28-year-old admits. “And then the reunion happened,” Dean recalls. “And he tried to talk s–t.” At the reunion, Connor had questions for Caelynn about why she had left Paradise with Dean. “Connor is this really incredibly good-looking dude,” Dean correctly acknowledges. “I was terrified.” “I was, like, building him up, and then after the show, I shook his hand,” Dean recalls. He continues: “And I was like, ‘Hey, it’s nice to officially, formally meet you.’” It’s always intimidating to meet your girl’s ex. Especially when he looks like Connor. Especially when he looks like Connor shirtless . “He leans over,” Dean narrates. “And he goes, ‘Nice to meet you too, man. I would really love to see the van sometime.'” “‘I’ve been thinking about doing the van life myself,'” he says that Connor told him. Dean shares: “And I go, ‘Bro, you can’t say that because you’ve been talking s–t about my van nonstop on the  Bachelor in Paradise .’” Well … to be fair, a lot of people had a lot of opinions about Dean and his van this season. Personally, the van is fine — Dean’s doing okay. I’m just glad to see the mustache in the ashes of history where he belongs. That was not the end of it, if you can believe it. Dean relates to Nick that he slid into Connor’s DMs to wish him luck in the future. Standard politeness stuff. Well, apparently Connor once again brought up how much he envied the freedom of Deanie’s current lifestyle. “Are you jealous of it, or do you wanna talk s–t about it?” Dean asks rhetorically while recalling this exchange. Folks, it sounds like Dean’s van is a sore subject for him and he’s a little self-conscious. You can make fun of it if you want, but don’t expect him to fall in love with you if you do. Despite that clear point of contention, Dean says that he and Connor are “fine.” Dean is the one who ended up boning Caelynn into the sunset, so that’s probably a good alm to his ego. In fact, Dean says that he would “love” to help Connor get set up like he is and give him advice and generally show him the ropes. “You seem like a great guy. I wanna be friends,” Dean says. Lauren Swanson: I’m SO Different From the Other Duggar Wives!

At this point, the Duggars are so famous that even people who marry into the family become minor celebrities. Of course, not every new spouse is thrilled with that development. Take Lauren Swanson, for example. Lauren married Josiah Duggar  over a year ago but thus far, she’s managed to keep a lower profile than most Duggar partners. Those who know Swanson best say that’s no accident. To say that Lauren is a bit more shy than your typical reality star would be a massive understatement. In her first video messages to fans — posted shortly after she and Josiah got engaged — Swanson spoke so quietly that many fans openly wondered if she were concealing some sort of speech impediment. (The denizens of Duggar nation are not always a kindly bunch.) To this day most fans know very little about Lauren — but that changed this week, when the mom-to-be posted a list of 11 facts about herself on Instagram. Some of the facts aren’t exactly jaw-droppers. Lauren kicks things off by revealing with that she loves Jesus with her “whole heart,” and she “grew up in central GA on a little farm”  Important parts of her life, no doubt, but nothing that’s likely to take anyone by surprise. After the introductory items, however, Lauren’s list actually gets interesting. “I am a quarter hispanic (and no I am not fluent in Spanish, but I wish I was),” Swanson continued. “My middle name (Milagro) is in Spanish, it means Miracle.” So, maybe the Duggars aren’t the whitest family in the world anymore? (Just kidding, they still are.) From there, Lauren revealed that she’s known Josiah for much longer than previously thought. “Met the Duggar family in 2010, at the ATI conference in Big Sandy, TX (so yes, I watched Josiah grow up; I remember him as the funny/talkative little kid),” she wrote. And here’s where it really gets interesting — it seems Lauren was very nearly a career woman: “I went to college when I was 16 and finished my Associate’s degree in Nursing at 18,” she wrote.  Next on the list was an equally, though considerably less impressive revelation: “My secret talent is yodeling,” she wrote. From there on out, its pretty standard stuff — Lauren plays piano and digs interior design, but her favorite pastime is hanging out with Josiah. But still — nursing, yodeling, interests that don’t involve Jesus and housework? Seems that Lauren may have a richer interior life than some folks gave her credit for. For years, we’ve been hearing that despite all of the hype about Jinger, Josiah is the real Duggar rebel , the one who resists his father’s influence at every turn. Dwight Howard Bought A Purple Rolls Royce Because Of Thanos? [Video]

Source: photo: WENN Dwight Howard  clearly roots for the bad guys at the movies. He recently purchased a car in honor of Marvel Cinematic Universe’s most celebrated villain. Complex is reporting that the all-star center recently copped a brand new Rolls Royce. Obviously it isn’t rare for NBA players to ball out with luxury vehicles he ordered his modern day chariot in purple. While the color in question could easily be perceived as an homage to his new Los Angeles Lakers team it is really a nod to Thanos. On a recent episode of In Depth with Graham Bensinger  he gave a tour of his 8.8 million dollar Atlanta estate. During a walk through of his garage he discussed the automobile and the inspiration behind it. “I got this purple car because of Thanos. He’s from Avengers and he’s my favorite character. He was able to understand that in order for him to complete his mission, he had to get rid of his emotions, and that’s the hardest thing that we all face” he explained.   He further detailed his enthusiasm towards the character during a segment on FS1’s Fair Game with Kristine Leahy . He discussed how he had a rather big fanboy moment when he found himself on the plane with actor Josh Brolin. “I was sitting, like, two seats behind him, so I write him a letter, and I’m just telling him, ‘Thank you! Your character in this movie changed my life. It changed my thought process, and I really appreciate you for what you did” Dwight revealed. . @DwightHoward loves Thanos so much that he bought a purple car! Lenny S Says Jay-Z Was Good With Losing Rap Battle To Nas in ’02

Chen It’s been more than a decade and chance since Jay-Z and Nas battled for rap supremacy when they dropped some scathing diss tracks in “The Takeover” and “Ether,” and though they’ve since squashed the drama and moved on with their lives, OG rap aficionados still argue on who had the better record. Jay-Z for his part has no problem with fans concluding that Nas got the best of him when he called him a “tae-bo h*e” amongst other things on the rap battle classic “Ether.” Def Jam published an oral history about the making of the classic Jay-Z album, The Blueprint , and in it former Roc-A-Fella A&R Lenny “Lenny S” Santiago explained his frustration over how Hip-Hoppers were declaring Nas’ “Ether” the victor over Jay’s “Takeover.” From venting to Roc-A-Fella co-founder Kareem “Biggs” Burke to cursing out New York’s Hot 97 radio station, Lenny S had a hard time with fans leaning more towards the Queensbridge King than Hova the Gawd. It wasn’t until he got on the phone with Jay that Lenny S was able to see the bigger picture behind what had happened and accepted the end results. “So I literally call him from a pay phone. And here we are, Jay’s on the phone with me, convincing me that this has to happen in life. We have to go through ups and downs. We have take losses in order to get greater wins. We have to fall in order to get up. He just spent 15 minutes convincing me why this was necessary and that it’s alright. This man just took a loss. A public loss to a rival rapper. And he’s convincing me, a young A&R, and obviously his friend and his brother, of like why I need to be okay with this and let it go and not take it to heart. It just taught me as a man how to be a more mature adult. And to look at the glass as half full instead of half empty. Jay took the time when he could have been selfish, or pissed off, and took the time to school me. And that’s from The Blueprint.” To be fair, at the time Hot 97 held a contest for listeners to decide who had the better diss track between Nas’ “Ether” and Jay-Z’s “Super Ugly” in which Jay spit over Nas’ “Got Urself” instrumental and then revealed his relationship with Nas’ babymother over Dr. Dre ‘s “Bad Intentions” track. Apparently Jay didn’t go hard enough over Nas’ beat but went over the line on Dr. Dre’s joint. If we remember correctly, even Jay-Z’s family told him he didn’t have to bring Nas’ baby’s mother into the drama on the diss track. Either way New York listeners decided “Ether” was a better song than “Super Ugly.” It was. Had they actually pitted “Ether” against the original Nas diss cut “Takeover” then the results might’ve been different. Luckily both men were able to hash out their differences and are now continuing to cash in on life outside of rap. Gotta love Hip-Hop, b.

Source: SOPA Images / Getty Gamestop is serious trouble financially and to combat its money woes, the company announced it will be closing up to 200 stores around the world before the end of the year. It was just two months ago GameStop announced it would be revamping its stores in hopes it would lure more shoppers, but it looks like that plan was a dub. The company revealed plans it will be shuttering somewhere between 180 and 200 GameStop locations across the globe for good with more store closings on the horizon for the struggling video game retailer. The company revealed that it’s quarter global sales were down 14.3 percent, translating into a net loss of $32 million. James Bell, GameStop’s CFO revealed during the company’s earnings call that up to 200 “underperforming”  before the end of the year. He also added: “While these closures were more opportunistic, we are applying a more definitive, analytic approach, including profit levels and sales transferability, that we expect will yield a much larger tranche of closures over the coming 12 to 24 months.” GameStop hoped it’s an ambitious idea to team up with designers at R/GA to renovate stores to give them a “place in the video gaming culture” would work. The proposed concept stores were supposed to have layouts that would appeal to gamers by giving them new ways to try games before buying them. They also suggested building shops that would focus on retro games and hardware and host Esports competitions in the stores with local teams. Looks likes that didn’t solve what ails GameStop, and it’s not looking good for the company for the foreseeable future. With gamers now opting to go digital and the current console generation reaching its end, the well-known company looks like it might be dying a slow death. This could also be karma for the company for ripping us off with those lame trade-in values as well. Bell’s outlook for his company is currently bleak.
