We’ll just hope all readers are sitting down when they read the following: Keith Manley said he wanted to separate from Iris Caldwell on Wednesday night’s episode. “You’ve been nothing but supportive. Whether it’s coming to my grandmother’s funeral or you coming to meet my family and spending time with my family,” he told her on air, adding in more painful detail: “I do want you to know how grateful I am to have met someone who has pushed me in so many different ways that I just had no idea I needed to be pushed in. “Right now, I do think that we are in different places individually and for that reason I would like to get a divorce.” Dr. Pepper Schwartz was left “stunned” by this decision, while Dr. Viviana Coles said her heart was “broken for Iris.” As for the bride? Last November, we reported that 90 Day Fiance star Ashley Martson had been kidnapped and brutally attacked when she was 19. Now, Ashley is speaking up on Instagram and inviting her fans and followers to hear the grim story of her survival story. This is a huge step for her, and she even released a statement about how she’s no longer afraid to address her trauma. First of all, Ashley explains why she decided to get ahead and leak her story through blogger John Yates late last year. “I wasn’t sure how the other tabloids would portray me,” Ashley explained at the time. She added: “I knew he would post it with the with dignity and respect with the understanding that this is a very sensitive subject.” And, she revealed, she had been warned that an old “friend” already planned to leak the story of the brutal 2005 assault. “People are disgusting,” she correctly observed. “Sending this story to tabloids shows how s–tty people really are.” In 2005, Ashley was near her car outside of work when a man, Sean Patrick Gallagher, attacked her with a box cutter and tied her up. He took her elsewhere in her own car. In a small athletic field, he stopped the car, terrorized her, and sexually assaulted her. He could have — and may have been planning to — end her life. Only 19 at the time, Ashley mustered the incredible courage to fight back against he armed monster. She struck him with a bag and used her own teeth to chew through the zip-ties that had bound her hands so tightly that they were discolored. Ashley made a run for it, on foot, sliding down an embankment and wading across a creek to get away. Gallagher was eventually identified with DNA evidence. He was already in prison at the time. At his trial, Ashley did not hold back when it came to scolding him for fighting the charges, forcing her to relive her horrific trauma. In 2009, after Ashley’s testimony, it took only 90 minutes for the jury to convict. He was found guilty of kidnapping, rape, involuntary intercourse, robbery, and terroristic threats. Last November, it was John Yates who shared the story — at Ashley’s request — to get it out in the open, the right way. Now, Ashley is addressing the topic herself on Instagram. “I was kidnapped and almost killed,” Ashley acknowledges. “But,” she continues. “I’m no longer afraid to speak out.” She then directs people to read about it. There isn’t exactly new information, since it’s been public knowledge, but her statement is brand new. Ashley has known a lot of awful experiences in her life. Kidnapped at 19. And she continues to battle Lupus, a devastating and chronic autoimmune disease that threatens her life. Leaked text messages appear to accuse her ex-husband, Jay Smith, of sexually assaulting her while she was recovering from a medical treatment. There is no limit on the horror that one can experience in a lifetime, but we hope that Ashley never relives any of these nightmares again. Ashley is a profoundly strong woman. This NOT exactly just in: Farrah Abraham is not the sharpest tack in the drawer. She’ll never be accused of playing with a full deck or of not having at least one screw loose. And yet, even for this disgraced ex-Teen Mom star, the video Farrah released on Wednesday likely came as a shock to those who have been following her so-called career for the past several months. Yes, it was that ignortant, tone-deaf and just plain dumb. Here. Let us set the stage for you, okay? Abraham has been in New York City for the past few days, taking daughter Sophia on a tour of The Big Apple while also making an appearance at this city’s Fashion Week. Earlier this week, though, Farrah and Sophia visited One World Trade Center in order to pay tribute to those who died on the September 11 terrorist attacks in 2001. On its surface, this was an admirable gesture. Dig a little deeper past the surface, however, and … well… … you get Abraham mixing up the date of this awful incident with the name of the country’s most famous convenience store. This is what the reality star said to open her self-filmed footage: “Okay, so we wanted to do, since it’s gonna be September 11, in honor of the Freedom Towers, and observatory deck and everything, of 7-Eleven, we are going to do this. Wow, look at this guys.” Yup, Farrah just said 7-Eleven . Abraham brushed right past her mistake, however, to say how vital she believes it to be that her daughter learn about the tragedy. “I think this is gorgeous, beautiful, and in memory of a lot of loved ones, a lot of others lost,” she says in the following video, adding: “I remember being in fifth grade when September 11 attacks happened, Sophia was not born yet, so I think it’s really important that Sophia learns about it, and here we go.” Farrah Abraham at One World Trade Center Farrah’s sentiment is right, of course. But was it right of her to turn this visit into a 12-minute video that she released on her YouTube page? The buildings are so beautiful,” she continued, later gushing over how much she was “enjoying” the entire experience. On the bright side at least, no one watched this video and wondered what the heck was the matter with Farrah’s appearance . Instead, they simply wondered what the heck is the matter with Farrah. Full stop. “I kind of wanted to make this video while I’m here at the Freedom Tower for September 11,” the MTV personality added. “However we all deal with loss, I encourage you guys to check out my last videos for bereavement, depression, but it’s good to have a memorial for those. It’s great to visit loved ones and have good memories.” We don’t want to judge anyone who has been through any traumatic ordeal. Not in any way at all. New York City is the latest stop on Farrah and Sophia’s tour across the world. They are fresh off a trip to Paris, where they enjoyed a day of shopping at stores like Louis Vuitton. Way back in April, David Eason shot and killed Jenelle Evans' dog , an 11-pound French bulldog named Nugget. Now obviously, David is not a criminal mastermind. In fact, we're impressed when we see him out in public with his shoes on the right feet. But he was able to avoid prosecution in the Nugget case, largely because he and Jenelle made it difficult for police to figure out what the hell actually happened. Then David went and confessed to the killing in an interview with People magazine, because — like we said — he's not the brightest bulb. So might he finally be punished for his nauseating crimes? Here's what we know so far: 1. The Easons Take Manhattan Jenelle and David are in New York in order to promote her newly-released eyebrow kit. The launch coincided with the city’s fashion week. 2. Tricky Business The launch party itself was a sparsely-attended bust that took place on some random Astro-turfed balcony. And the rest of the promotions haven’t turned out much better. 3. The Challenge The task presented to Jenelle and David was a difficult one — run damage control and rescue what’s left of your reputation, even though you stand accused of beating and murdering a puppy, then hiding the crime from police. 4. Absolute Disaster Because Evans’ manager, Johnny Donovan, knows nothing about his clients, he scored them an interview with People magazine. He was apparently under the impression that they’re a couple of smooth-talkers who would sort this whole thing out with ease. 5. Even Worse Than We Expected We don’t need to tell you wrong Donovan was. Despite a series of pre-approved softball questions, Jenelle and David sputtered and stammered their way through the interview and dug themselves a MUCH deeper hole. 6. As we reported earlier this month, Maddox Jolie-Pitt has left for college . The 18-year-old son of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt is attending Yonsei University in Incheon, South Korea. College and adulthood can be very freeing. For the first time, Maddox is discussing his parents’ split and his estranged father. This week, in a video obtained by In Touch Weekly , Maddox is approached by a cameraman and asked questions. First, Maddox is asked if his estranged father, Brad Pitt, will be visiting him at school now that he’s started college. “Um, I don’t know about that … what’s happening,” Maddox replies. It’s a deeply awkward question. The cameraman followed up, asking if his relationship with his dad is over for good. Maddox kept it vague, replying: “Whatever happens, happens.” We should acknowledge that this isn’t really a case of Maddox volunteering to open up to the world about family drama. He’s an 18-year-old college freshman who’s on the other side of the planet from his entire family. And somebody with a camera followed him to college to leverage a young man’s politeness in the hopes that he’d speak to the camera. While Angelina and even Brad did a good job of shielding their children from some of the burdens of fame, that makes them unpracticed with these guerilla interviews. Humans are social animals. Maddox’s natural instinct was to answer a stranger’s questions. An inside source previously spoke to In Touch Weekly about how Maddox is doing with this huge life milestone. “Maddox is leaving the tight-knit family nest,” the insider acknowledged. The source continued: “And while there have been some tears, he’s super excited about starting this new journey.” Maddox’s siblings are Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, John (Shiloh), 13, and 11-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox. “He told his siblings that they have to listen to Pax now,” the insider shares. “Which they all laughed at.” “Pax probably took it the hardest,” the source characterized. “But he’s tough and doesn’t cry.” “All the other kids got teary-eyed,” the insider revealed. “They’re all going to miss their oldest brother,” the source explained. “Who’s always been kind and a very calming presence.” The insider adds that Maddox was like this “even when he was little.” Basically everyone — with the exceptions of some of Brad’s diehard stans — loves Maddox. Maddox played a central role into the event onboard their private plane that resulted in Angelina filing for divorce and reporting Brad to the FBI for child-abuse. It is believed that there was some sort of conflict onboard the plane. After what Angelina witnessed, she knew that she could not remain married to Brad — or the person he had become. She also did her best to keep the children away from him until he had taken major steps to combat his alcoholism. Somehow, some of Brad’s most rabidly fanatical fans made him out to somehow be the “victim” in all of this. Maddox has kept his distance from his now estranged father for some time, and is said to be very protective of his mother. There are some who think that he and Brad “need” to reconnect for some reason. That’s very silly. The nice thing about life is that you eventually get to choose which family members to keep in your life and which to exclude. Maddox appears to be open to an eventual reconciliation with his father, which is very charitable of him. For now, he’s focusing on his classes. The gaming studio invited Hip-Hop Wired.com for a unique hands-on preview of the game, and we left quite impressed with what we experienced. The developers for Ghost Recon: Breakpoint definitely listened to the community’s concerns while playing the previous title Wildlands . With Breakpoint , they set out to battle what hampered Wildlands , mainly the game’s repetitive nature that players fervently complained about. The preview was broken up into two parts, we got the experience Breakpoint’s campaign mode first with some PvE before we checked out the multiplayer. Immediately right after you finish customizing your characters look, you realize this isn’t the Ghost Recon you have grown accustomed too. In Wildlands and other Ghost Recon titles you were always the hunter, in Breakpoint , you are the hunted. The action takes place on the island of Auroa that is home to a tech company called Skell Technology that creates drones. However, the island gets taken over by former Ghost, Cole D. Walker ( Jon Bernthal ) and his army of Rogue ghost soldiers who cut the island off from the world. Bernthal puts his entire all in the character of Walker might we add and has been a great addition to the Ghost Recon franchise. You and your team are sent to investigate and are tasked with restoring communications. Things go left quickly, and your chopper is shot down. Once you wake up from the crash, you and your squad are tasked for looking for survivors while securing weapons and items along the way because you are practically naked. Initially, you and your fellow Ghosts were tasked to investigate the island Source: Ubisoft / Ghost Recon Breakpoint The game instantly introduces you to its new injury system, teaching you how to heal your character’s injuries. While traversing the fictional island of Auroa, you will encounter all types of rugged terrain like mountains, snow, swamps. The environment will either aid you in your fight to survive or can also slow you down or hurt you if you approach them in the wrong manner. The environment in itself is a character in the game and will impact your play. You will quickly discover there is a new camouflage system that will allow you to blend in with your surroundings. When activated, it will enable you to take out a baddie while prone or hide from harder enemies like the Wolves and drones that actively search for you. Source: Ubisoft / Ghost Recon Breakpoint Fans will find Breakpoint is similar to Wildlands as far as some elements from the previous title being present. But make no mistake Wildlands is a totally different beast. Survival is the key in this game with players having to do things like drink water, eat food, and as mentioned above, treat injuries to keep your character battle-ready. Players will be able to refill their canteens by either by merely locating a river or even a swimming pool. Also new to the game are bivouac campsites. While posted at one, players can equip buffs by eating or increase their character’s stamina by stretching. You can also plan ahead for your current missions for the camps. For example, if you want to attack a base at night, you can use the bivouac to skip to a time of the night when the guards are sleeping. As you can see preparation is key to your survival, and if you head out on a mission underprepared chances of survival are definitely slim. Source: Ubisoft / Ghost Recon Breakpoint Another great addition to the game is the fact is your player is fully customizable from your weapons, gear, and class which a new feature. All of that can also be changed at the bivouac. At the start of the game, you will be asked to choose between either being a Medic, Panther, Assualt, and Sharpshooter. Each has their own unique ability, like selecting the Medic class allows you to revive teammates utilizing a drone or even self-reviving your character. Once your type is selected, you will be able to unlock other abilities using a skill tree. This doesn’t mean you will have to stick with the first class you have chosen though, as you will be able to swap out classes when you visit a bivouac. Auroa is a huge map, so of course, getting around is made simpler and safer with the help of vehicles. You can either travel using an assortment of vehicles ranging from boats, helicopters, dirtbikes, and buggies. If you’re brave, you can travel by foot, but again you have to be wary of your stamina gauge, sustaining injuries and becoming dehydrated. Source: Ubisoft / Ghost Recon Breakpoint Staying on the topic of traveling to your missions, the developers definitely stressed the importance of players exploring Auroa the way they want and playing how they want. In Breakpoint , there is no one way to complete a mission giving you a choice to either go in guns blazing or with an excellent course of action. Also, like in Ubisoft’s other franchise Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey , Breakpoint won’t tell you where you need to go when you take on a mission. Instead, you will have to explore the island and hunt for intel and speak with NPCs to obtain that information. BUT if you’re not with that idea you can always turn on guide mode, but how much fun is that? Gunplay is also very smooth and easy to get accustomed to in the game. We were happy to see that developers focused on precision shooting more this time around. Headshots and well-placed shots are vital in helping dispatch your enemies quickly in firefights. Also returning fan-favorite sync shot, you and your team can put pins on enemies and coordinate takedowns with precision. Speaking with Breakpoint’s director, Eric Couzian, he even hinted at being able to sync up to 16 targets at one time. Thanks to the games new system using drones you collect in the game will help you accomplish this feat. Source: Ubisoft / Ghost Recon Breakpoint Ghost Recon Breakpoint is a new take on the Ghost Recon franchise, but like other titles playing alongside friends is what makes this game even more fun. The world of Auroa is vast and full of dangerous enemies. While playing alone and defeating insanely difficult Wolves, and drones by yourself could be rewarding, teaming up with your buddies is what Breakpoint is about at its core. That even transfers over to PvP, which we enjoyed playing thoroughly. We took on another team in two multiplayer modes, elimination, and sabotage on three of the six multiplayer maps that will be available at launch. Our favorite was Skell Port, a perfect setting for those who enjoy sniping. Your progress from your PvE play transfers over to PvP thanks to shared progression, which is very clutch. Sabotage was also surprisingly very fun. In this mode, you either have to plant a bomb or defuse it depending on your team. Thanks to the well thought out maps, planning is very crucial in ensuring victory because running gung ho to the objective just doesn’t cut it. My team learned that the hard way our first go-around, but we quickly rebounded when we decided to come up with a gameplan. Now for those wondering if there will be AI teammates in the game, Couzian revealed that option will not be available at launch but will be coming soon. So unless you squad up, you will be on your own during solo play. Based on what we experienced at the event, Ghost Recon Breakpoint is a welcome change in the series. We left very intrigued and are looking forward to getting our hands on the full game very soon. The action, story, survival mechanics, and emphasis on team play definitely pulled us in even more.
