In 2003, Michael Jackson was charged with seven counts of child molestation and two counts of administering an intoxicating agent to a 13-year-old boy. He was ultimately acquitted of all charges. Robson testified at the 2003 trial, but James Safechuck , the other person featured in “Leaving Neverland,” did not. Many people have maintained the documentary is untrue, including Brett Barnes , who said he knew Michael Jackson when he was child. According to TMZ , the film “implies Jackson molested him as a boy. As for why Barnes thinks this … Wade Robson — one of the singer’s well-known alleged victims — claims in the doc, Barnes ‘replaced him.’ The film then shows Michael and Brett together on tour. Thus, the insinuation.” Barnes testified at Michael Jackson’s criminal trial in 2005 and said he was never assaulted by him. He also tweeted this in January. L egendary basketball player Lisa Leslie has broken several barriers for women in the realm of sports. The California native will be recognized in a major way for all of her accomplishments. According to Bleacher Report , she will be honored with a statue outside of the Staples Center in Los Angeles. It’s undeniable that Leslie is a basketball trailblazer. She was a part of the inaugural WNBA season in 1997. During her career in the league—which lasted 12 years—she hit several milestones. Leslie was the first woman to dunk in a WNBA game and became the first player in the league to reach 6,000 career points. She has two WNBA championship titles under her belt and was named league MVP three times. She also has four Olympic gold medals. Leslie joins a prominent list of other legendary athletes who have been honored with statues outside of the Staples Center including Shaquille O’Neal , Magic Johnson , and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar . There is no word on when the statue will be unveiled. Leslie—who coaches a team in the Big3 league—says that her career moves have always been about opening doors for women in male-dominated spaces. “I always understood and respected the women who came before me. I love the fact that we have so many pioneers of the game and they get to still be a part of it,” she told Hoops Hype in an interview. “I’m always cognizant that we’re connected by a thread. S pelman College is furthering its efforts to invest in the futures of women of color who want to pursue careers in STEM. According to HBCU Buzz , the Atlanta-based historically Black college received funding for the creation of a science, technology, engineering and math center. After noticing a spike in the number of individuals who wanted to major in STEM, school officials decided that they needed to create more outlets to support the women in their journeys. The funds will go towards academic and professional development initiatives as well as a “Women in STEM” speaker series. “The Center aligns with the College’s strategic priorities and ensures that our students are empowered and equipped to enter competitive STEM fields,” said Spelman President Dr. Mary Schmidt Campbell . “We are honored to be awarded this grant, and to have the support of the Department of Defense in assisting Spelman in fulfilling its mission to diversify STEM.” This isn’t the only STEM-related project that the HBCU has worked on this year. In May, the college announced that they were teaming up with Booking.com for the creation of a scholarship fund designed to address the gender gap in the tech industry. There has been a major effort to expand STEM education programs at HBCUs. Earlier this year, Morgan State University won a three-year, $1.6 million Aerospace Workforce and Leadership Development Grant from the nonprofit Base 11 for the creation of a state-of-the-art rocketry lab and student rocketry team. Before we even start this post, we just want to say the following: We’re not crying. YOU’RE crying, okay?!? We just wanted to get that straight. Married at First Sight and The Bachelor alum Jamie Otis announced on Friday night that she is pregnant with a rainbow baby, just a few months after she and husband Doug Hehner suffered a miscarriage . This January 2019 followed a miscarriage Otis also suffered in September of last year. The couple has been through a great deal, but they now have a new reason to maintain hope. Otis and Hehner confirmed their major news on the latter’s podcast, “Hot Marriage. Cool Parents,” telling listeners that they’re expecting their second child … again. Jamie also revealed on Instagram that she is at least four weeks along — the earliest a pregnancy can be detected on a blood test — and included photos of her and her spouse holding a sonogram, which depicts what looks to be the beginning of a gestational sac. “We went to the fertility specialist and found out WE ARE PREGNANT!!!” Otis wrote as a caption. She continued: “I cannot even believe it!…after 18 long, painful months, two losses and negative after negative on the pregnancy tests we are *finally* pregnant again! “Of course I am being cautiously optimistic, but I have a feeling this little one is going to stick.” The sad truth is that most miscarriages take place within the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. So there’s still a chance Jamie and Doug lose this baby. Otis proceeded to delve into personal detail of her and the child growing inside of her, writing: “The only thing is, yesterday the nurse called and said my blood work came back a bit different than anticipated. “Based on my last period, I should be about 4 weeks along. The blood work to support this would look like this: progesterone 8-10 & HCG 50-300. “My blood work came back like this: progesterone 51 & HCG 1,441 !!! “This means that I’m either further along OR I could potentially have TWINS! (They said it’s most likely I’m further along but I would absolutely love twins!).” Otis and Hehner are already parents to a two-year-old daughter named Henley Grace. In 2016, Otis became pregnant but confirmed a stillbirth of their son in her second trimester. Exactly a year ago, the reality star had a chemical pregnancy (or very early miscarriage detected days after conception). In January, she revealed that she suffered a 10-week miscarriage. Many fans reached out to Otis to show support after she posted online about her losses. “Thank you, thank you, *THANK YOU!* for all the encouragement, love, & prayers. IT WORKED! WE ARE FINALLY PREGNANT !!!!!” she wrote in her post on Saturday. Concluded Otis: “And before I end this looong caption, I just want to say this: if you’re reading this & are currently in the process of #ttc – oh mama, my heart hurts for you. “I know the instant internal pain that comes from another’s pregnancy announcement – even if you are or at least want to be – happy for the lucky couple. “I just want you to know that your rainbow will come too. The storm cant stay forever. Hold onto hope! I am thinking of you!

Earlier this week, AB was fined for missing two of his team’s practices . Following that, rumors started to circulate that an altercation with his coach Jon Gruden would cause him to miss game one. Those rumors were confirmed when reports surfaced that Antonio Brown called Gruden a ‘cracker’ and ended up threatening him. Following that unexpected news, a lot of fans presumed that AB wouldn’t play–but that didn’t turn out to be true. Now, we get the next episode of this saga in the form of a youtube video uploaded by Mr. Brown himself. He released a short video in which he records a confidential phone call with his coach over a dramatic video about him not being as bad as they say.
