In it features a cut with J. Cole called Jodeci Freestyle that ends with a harsh lyric that prompted an online petition to surface back when the track originally dropped. That petition garnered nearly 4500 signatures. Here’s the un-edited version below: The controversial lyric comes on Cole’s verse near the very end, “Go check the numbers, dummy, that’s just me gettin’ started/ I’m artistic, you n—as is autistic, retarded.” The second part of the bar is completely muted, and the beat continues to just carry on. Some people argue that it sounds more awkward than had they just left it alone. The two emcee’s were forced to acknowledge and apologize for those words. J. A judge issued an arrest warrant for Joseline after she didn’t allow the producer and fellow reality star to visit his daughter. TMZ detailed the struggle: Stevie had a right to take custody of their 2-year-old daughter, Bonnie Bella from July 28 to August 11. Joseline was in Miami shooting “Marriage Boot Camp,” so he traveled there on the 28 to pick up his daughter. According to court documents, obtained by TMZ, instead of turning Bonnie Bella over, Joseline took the child and flew to L.A. After Stevie’s attorney, Adamma McKinnon ran to court, the judge in the custody case issued an arrest warrant Thursday, ordering Joseline to turn the baby over STAT or she would be taken into custody. We’ve learned Stevie J flew to L.A. late Friday and the stage is now set for a showdown. The judge made it clear … if Joseline doesn’t turn the child over, the L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept. is ordered to immediately arrest her. And, there’s more … because Joseline violated the custody agreement — which gave her physical custody and Stevie J visitation — the judge switched it around and now Stevie has sole physical custody of Bonnie Bella … until August 15 when they’re back in Fulton County court. Fortunately for Joseline, she reportedly handed Bonnie Bella to Stevie’s adult daughter in Miami. She and the baby are now on their way back to Los Angeles. We’re going to guess the Love & Hip-Hop cameras weren’t around.

The actor was dismissed after misconduct allegations on the set became public, so it really come as a surprise. But just in case, spoilers ahead, but not really. According to Deadline , Mitchell’s character Brandon will be killed off. The actor was fired after Season 2 wrapped, which put exactly how the character would be removed in limbo—and now we know. When asked by Deadline after the network’s TCA executive session, Showtime’s President of Entertainment Gary Levine confirmed that Brandon is being killed off. “There is a lot of great life in The Chi, and there’s also death in The Chi, and that’s how we’ll be dealing with it,” Showtime’s President of Entertainment Gary Levine told Deadline when confirming the character’s demise. Back in May. Mitchell was accused of inappropriate behavior on the set with female co-star Tiffany Boone. However, he only got the heave-ho after multiple incidents and after it continued despite HR training. Executive produced and created by Lena Waithe, The Ch i is headed into its third season.
Amber Portwood continues to make very strong insinuations and accusations on social media. The embattled Teen Mom OG star, who was arrested on July 5 for felony assault against Andrew Glennon, took to her official Instagram account one month after this incident and seemed to make a very bold claim. What did she say? What should we take from this since-deleted message? And how might this affect the case against Amber going forward? Nothing at all. We’re sure she has to keep quiet for legal reasons, but sources have said she denies the machete part of this story and that she DID throw a shoe at Glennon, but it barely grazed his face. 5. I t’s been over a year since Debra Lee stepped down from the helm of BET, and the businesswoman is continuing to make power moves. According to Black Enterprise , Lee was recently appointed to join AT&T’s board of directors. During her tenure as the CEO and chairman of BET, she developed new platforms and outlets that celebrated Black entertainment and artistry and she was a leading force in increasing the network’s budget by 50 percent. She started her journey with BET in 1986 and worked hard to rise up the ranks. Amongst some of the projects that she spearheaded was the creation of BET.com, the BET Awards, the BET Experience festival and the Centric network. She joins AT&T’s board of directors after the company acquired Time Warner in an $85.4 billion deal. “Debra’s outstanding leadership, deep expertise and strong track record in the entertainment and media industry will be terrific additions to our board of directors,” AT&T chairman and CEO, Randall Stephenson said in a statement, according to Deadline . “Her unique perspective as a media industry leader and operations executive, and her lifetime commitment to community service give her valuable insights I look forward to having on our board.” Serving on boards is nothing new to Lee. She has been on boards at Marriott International Inc. and Twitter. She currently serves on the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre’s board. Her appointment comes at a time where there is a major need for racial diversity on boards. According to Reuters , between the years of 2016 and 2018, African Americans only accounted for 5 percent of new board directors. B lack scholars across the country are displaying excellence and making history in the process. According to WLFI , Amber Johnson recently became the first Black woman to earn a doctorate in computer science at Purdue University. She received her first computer before she turned 10 and enjoyed fixing tech gadgets. She took her love for tech into adulthood and earned an undergraduate degree in computer science from LeMoyne-Owen College and her master’s degree from Jackson State. While pursuing her Ph.D. in computer science at Purdue she was mentored by Dr. Raquel Hill who was the first Black woman to earn a computer science Ph.D. from Harvard 17 years ago. Dr. Hill hooded Johnson during her graduation ceremony. For Johnson, representation in STEM is important. She is using her journey as an avenue to inspire others; similar to how Dr. Hill inspired her to break barriers in computer science. “I don’t look the stereotypical computer scientist,” she told The Exponent in a statement. “You don’t find many black women in this academic space. This is what computer science can look like.” Outside of her studies, Johnson has been dedicated to paying it forward and empowering the next generation of tech leaders. She volunteers with Black Girls Rock Tech and Girls Who Code. As far as her next chapter, Johnson will serve as a software engineer at Northrup Grumman; a company focused on defense and aerospace technology. The 25-year old singer spoke at length during the August 2 episode of Ali Fedotowsky and Rachel Lindsay’s “Bachelor Happy Hour,” discussing all that transpired this season between him, Hannah Brown and his pesky ex-girlfriend, Haley Stevens. Why has our opinion of Wyatt plummeted to even lower depths now than it was at before? Scroll down to find out! 1. Ready for a Quick Refresher? Here we go: Wyatt was the final man standing for Hannah Brown on The Bachelorette Season 15. He proposed to her on the finale and she accepted. 2. HOWEVER… … Brown then came across some articles and Internet posts that alleged Wyatt had left a woman behind when he left for Los Angeles and The Bachelorette. These reports claimed that Wyatt told this woman, Haley Stevens, that he loved her and was only going on the show to further his music career. 3. How Did Hannah React? She ended their engagement after just two days after Jed admitted that the articles were basically true. He did date Haley, he did sleep with her, he did tell her he loved her and he didn’t even formally end their relationship? 4. What? He Didn’t?!? Nope. He admitted on air that he just assuemed Haley would get the message about the romance being over once she saw him on The Bachelorette. 5. Does He At Least Feel Bad About It? We guess so. “The main thing is just how sorry I am. I really have had time to think about the things that have happened and how Hannah has felt. I’m very remorseful and ultimately just want to become a better person because of all of this.” 6. What Has He Now Said About Haley? “If you really do love someone, no matter how promising they’ve made it seem, if they’re going on a dating show, regardless of why they’re going on a dating show, why would you stay with them?” Wyatt actually said on Bachelor Happy Hour, basically trashing Haley for being an idiot and adding: “If I was in a relationship, I would not have gone onto a dating show. OK, so Ryan Edwards … Look, there's just always so much to discuss when it comes to this guy, you know? There's the drug addiction, all the arrests, his troubled relationship with ex Maci Bookout and her family, his weird relationship with his own family, all the ins and outs of his marriage with Mackenzie Standifer … Yeah, it's a lot. But today, we're just going to try to focus on a couple of those categories, namely his relationship with his family and the drug stuff. Because there are several new photos of Ryan going around, and lots of people see them as proof that he's using again. 1. Oh, Ryan … Ryan has been through a lot this year, right? And there’s still a good bit left to go. 2. Another Arrest Remember, he spent the first part of it in jail after being arrested in January for skipping out on a bar tab. 3. Seriously, a Bar Tab? And yeah, the bar tab itself might not have been a huge issue — Mackenzie did say that she paid it, and it wasn’t a ton of money or anything either. 4. Do Better, Ryan The issue was that he was on probation already for drug charges. He spent those few months in jail for violating his probation. 5. Oh, Also This And those few months must have felt like an extra long time for Mackenzie, who had been alone for a few months just before that while he was gone to rehab. 6. To Be Fair … But we have to remember that Ryan is a heroin addict, and while it may be tough for him to be away from his family for long stretches in rehab and/or jail, at least that means he’s not away from them forever in a coffin. You can say many things about the Kardashians, along with nearly everyone in close proximity to this family. Really. You can. Go right ahead and do so right now. But there's one thing that can't really ever be uttered about this group of polarizing reality stars: They've never been in trouble with the law. With sex tapes? With infidelity? With the exploiting of their young fan base for millions of dollars? Yes, yes and yes. But Kim Kardashian and company has at least remained on the right side of the police… until now, perhaps. In a new promo for Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 17, which premieres some time this fall, Scott Disick speaks up and out at one point and says the following: “There’s a chance I would’ve had to go to prison.” Wait, what?!? For what possible reason? We have no idea and the preview does not say — and this is likely much ado about nothing at all. But it has still drawn out attention. Elsewhere in this footage, we see how tensions between Tristan Thompson and the Kardashians-Jenners are still lingering after he cheated on Khloé Kardashian with Jordyn Woods, Kylie Jenner‘s longtime best friend forever. In one revealing scene, Kim is angry after Thompson evidently ignored Khloe at their daughter True‘s first birthday party in April. “He doesn’t even speak to Khloe,” she fumes. “Khloe invited you. Be f—ing cordial.” “This whole thing sucks,” Khloe says, full a face full of tears. Again, say what you want about Khloe, but you must also feel pretty awful for her, considering this entire ordeal. So Farrah Abraham seems to be in kind of a weird place right now. And yeah, you could probably make the argument that her entire life has been lived in that weird place, and you wouldn't necessarily be wrong. The girl is wacky, and she's been wacky since the day we met her on 16 and Pregnant. But still, there's a little something different going on these days. Like, reports have been going strong for months that she's working as a prostitute , and just this week, we learned that she's been avoiding making a home somewhere for herself and Sophia to avoid being served for that lawsuit . Which lawsuit? Good question. The one where she's being sued for over $100,000 for breaking the lease and failing to pay rent for those businesses she opened a few years ago in Austin. Yep, for the better part of this year, she's been flitting around the world, allegedly escorting wealthy gentlemen and generally just being the worst. Something else she's been doing, as evidenced by this video we're going to be talking about today? Just so, so much plastic surgery. Farrah is no stranger to changing her appearance, of course, but in this new video she shared on her YouTube channel, she does look very different. Her face shape is just not the same as it was even just last month — it's actually pretty dramatic. The video itself is just as dumb as you'd imagine it would be, and she barely makes sense. She keeps saying that it's a confessional, but really the only thing she confesses is how awesome she thinks she is. She does mention that she's in a good place with MTV right now, and they've been having meetings and traveling together. We're not sure how much of that is true and how much is just her letting words fall out of her mouth as they pop in her brain, but that's what she's saying. From there, she discusses being on magazine covers, primarily tabloids, and mentions that maybe now, in this new phase of her life, she'll do a feature on Harper's Bazaar or Elle or Cosmopolitan instead. Next, she says that she's sick of popular TikTok users having fake relationships and marriages. This whole thing really is just a dark look into how her mind works, and we don't care for it one bit. Let's see, later she graciously says “you're welcome” to her former Teen Mom costars for allowing them to share in her money and fame. She also tells us all that she wants to be on a scripted show now, one where “the talent” is protected like they weren't on Teen Mom. We can't really fault her for that statement, because MTV did almost let Amber Portwood maul her that one time . But then she goes off on the haters who are so jealous of her and her talents, and just for fun, she throws in a “Make America great again.” It's so hard to watch, and her latest surgery or fillers or whatever this madness is doesn't help.
