Re-imagining some classic Nike silhouettes with gold and white colorways, Nike has blessed the likes of Bobby Wagner, Aaron Donald, Khalil Mack, and with Nike 99 Club cleats which are designed “to each superstar’s unique style and skillset.” While Wagner probably got the grail of the 99 Club cleats with a golden pair of Air Jordan 1 cleats, Aaron Donald and Khalil Mack didn’t get scraps either as they both received white and gold-lined custom versions of the Nike Force Savage Elite. Friends would line up outside her dorm room to get their hair done, which is how she made extra money. After graduating college, Nafisah went to hair school. “When I started beauty school, I was just interested in hair,” explains the North Carolina native. “I went to Dudley, and Dudley would come in to talk to us about the careers. Then I realized people work with celebrities and travel. He told us about so many different careers in hair and that’s when I realized I want to work with celebrities. I thought it was cool.” Nafisah was exposed early on to entrepreneurship watching her mother travel state to state for different trade shows. “I saw her work hard,” says Nafisah. “I liked the traveling. She made her own schedule.” Nafisah’s dream of becoming a celebrity stylist eventually came true. “I recently worked with Michelle Williams, Erica Mena, Misty Copeland” to name a few. Nafisah decide to move to New York where she began working at the renown Rita Hazan Salon. “When I worked in New York that’s when I learned everything I learned about working with celebrities,” she explained. “I helped with them in the salon. I was mesmerized when Jennifer Lopez came to get her hair done.” After launching her own beauty boutique, she ventured into the hair extensions. The international celebrity stylist says she decided to start her own hair line when she got frustrated working on low quality extensions one day. ” “A lot of my clients would come and their hair was bad. It would tangle, it would shed, it would melt on the flat iron. I wanted a good product for my clients because I knew I was doing a good service. A good service with good quality hair so that way they can have a long-lasting hairstyle. I did a lot of research. It took a long time because I ordered hair, I did a lot of testing.” After finding a product she approved of, Nafisah launched Pyara Hair. It's almost time to return to the crazy and wonderful world of The Real Housewives of Orange County. Tamra Judge Is Returning! Tamra Judge will be back as a full-time housewife. That’s a good thing. At least she knows how to bring the drama. 3. Kelly Dodd Is Returning! Meghan Markle has made this much clear: She wasn’t exactly taking it easy during the final few weeks of her pregnancy. In new photos from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s official Instagram account, the former USA Network actress is giving followers a glimpse behind the scenes of her somewhat private life. (Yes, Markle is one of the most public figures on the planet in one sense. But, in another sense, do you have any idea what she does on a daily basis?) These pictures reveal a very, VERY pregnant Markle while she delves into important business and happenings at her Smart Works charity, an organization that helps vulnerable and longterm unemployed women regain the skills and confidence to get into work. Pretty admirable, right? To celebrate her recently-announced line of women’s workwear – which will benefit Smart Works – the relatively new mother shared the new snapshots above and below from her visits to Smart Works. The 37-year appears here to be playing stylist, helping clients select pieces to wear to a job interview. She’s also shown sitting at a table to talka bout the charity’s work. It’s also worth noting that Markle appears to be rocking the same black vintage jacket she sported while stepping out in New York City ahead of her baby shower in February. Reads the caption alongside these new photographs: Throughout her visits she noticed that while the donations were plentiful, they were also notably a combination of mismatched items and colours which weren’t always the right stylistic choices or sizes that didn’t necessarily ‘suit’ the job at hand: to make a woman feel confident and inspired as she walked into her job interview. As for the aforementioned line of women’s workwear? “Launching this autumn, The Duchess will be supporting a collective to help equip the women of Smart Works with the key workwear essentials they need as they enter into the workplace,” the sussexroyal account explains. Ekaterina Karaglanova, a well-known Russian Instagram influencer, was stabbed to death inside her Moscow apartment on Friday, multiple outlets have now confirmed. She was just days from turning 25 years old. The details of the case are especially gruesome. According to The Independent, the travel and fashion blogger’s parents contacted her landlord after not having heard from their daughter for multiple days. At this point, the landlord entered Karaglanova’s residence and discovered the 24-year old’s corpse. The body was inside a suitcase in her apartment hallway. Stab wounds were evident on her neck and chest, while local police say there were not signs of a struggle at the scene; a murder weapon has not be uncovered from the premises. Karaglanova had recently graduated from medical school and had established over 92,000 followers at the time of her murder. The social media personality was mostly beloved for her luxurious travel posts, where she posed in such locations as Italy, Austria and Spain. Her final Instagram photo depicts Karaglanova lounging poolside in Corfu, Greece, detailing her love for traveling. In addition to her globally popular Instagram account and separate travel blog, the Russian brunette was hoping to break into the field of dermatology. Investigators are currently looking into the case, per Variety, citing jealousy from a former boyfriend as a possible motive behind the crime. A suspect reportedly has been arrested, but not many other details have been released at this time. According to police, however, CCTV footage captured an alleged ex-boyfriend entering Karaglanova’s building around the days of her disappearance. This video shows him leaving with a suitcase and wearing gloves. Ekaterina was also a former Miss Moscow first runner-up; she posted to her Instagram over 650 times through the years. “I travel often, but in ever country I spend no more than 3-5 days,” Karaglanova wrote on her official page on July 22, addinh: “The longest journey of my life was in Israel with my family, when I was 14. “We went to visit for a while month, covered the whole country. Now I prefer to travel very often, but briefly…The impressions of such short trips remain the brightest.” UPDATE : A spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Interior has released the following statement: “As a result of operational search activities, the police officers at the Moscow Directorate of the MVD of Russia in Moscow established the location and arrested the suspect in the murder of a female social media personality in the apartment of a residential building on Pyryeva Street. “He has now been brought in for questioning.” May Ekaterina Karaglanova rest in peace. Back in June, Jim Bob Duggar’s beloved mother Mary Duggar passed away unexpectedly. Mary was 78 years old, but she did not die from natural causes, as many initially assumed. it was later revealed that Mary Duggar drowned in an incident that still remains mysterious to the public. Obviously, the family is entitled to its privacy at such a difficult time, but considering how much the Duggars have shared with the world, it comes as little surprise that they’ve been bombarded with questions in the months following Mary’s death. Chief among those queries is — how are Mary’s many grandchildren holding up in the wake of her grisly demise? When it comes to such sensitive matters, it often falls to Amy Duggar — the most outspoken member of her famous family — to clear the air: Amy posted the above pic on Instagram this week, along with a caption reading: “New body & our new @3130clothing space under construction 30 weeks and bumpin right along! “The wall to my right is going up, and the wall to my left is coming down!” Yes, Amy Duggar is opening a clothing store. Tyler Cameron managed to be both kicked to the curb AND picked up on The Bachelorette finale . The extraordinarily handsome suitor was initially rejected by Hannah Brown, just as he was preparing to propose… … only to then be asked out by Brown on the After the Final Rose special after Hannah dumped fiance Jed Wyatt for lying about a rather important fact: He had a girlfriend back home. Considering how crazy such a scenario was for viewers to watch unfold, we can only imagine how it must have felt for Cameron to actually live it. And yet, despite being flat-out rejected by Hannah on national television, Tyler seemed psyched to see her again on the aforementioned special and excited to learn that she basically made a huge mistake with Jed. Toward the end of the finale, Hannah then said the following: “I’ve always said I want somebody to be bold and I’m bold, and I make bold moves, and you’re an incredible guy and I’m a single girl…so: I just thought maybe we could go for a drink and just hang out.” “I would love to, just tell me when, I’m there,” Tyler replied immediately. Fast forward a few hours and Cameron wasn’t done gushing over Hannah. “What a ride… I’ll make this short and sweet,” Tyler wrote on Instagram last night, adding: “This journey with you is something that I will always cherish. I am so grateful for all the experiences that we shared together.” Tyler went on to say he was Hannah’s “biggest fan,” which is kind of a weird thing to note about someone you’re dating, while also adding: You taught me so much about myself and pushed me to be a better man. I learned so much from you and so did the rest of Bachelor Nation. You were what we all needed as a lead. You showed strength and grace in the most beautiful way. Mario Lopez has been forced to issue an apology and backtrack very quickly after controversial comments he made last month went viral just this week. The former Saved By the Bell actor and television host was a guest (for some reason) on The Candace Owens Show in June when the topic turned to how parents react when their kids express confusion over their gender. Why was Mario Lopez asked about this? We have no earthly idea. But his response has generated a significant amount of backlash. During the 40-minute interview, Owens, a conservative commentator, noted that Lopez’s son has “boyish” interests. She went on cite “a weird trend” in which some celebrities, most notably Charlize Theron, are permitting their children to choose their gender identity. ( Editor’s Note : This is not a trend by any definition of that word. Theron has said that she’s letting her adopted son live as a girl because he’s stated that is his preference … and that’s it.) “And this is strange to me,” Owens said to Lopez. “They say, ‘Oh, I looked at my child and my child was swimming in a bathtub and looked up and said, “Mommy, I’m a boy” and that’s weird.” Owens said she doesn’t think kids possess the “mental authority” to express a gender identity different than the one they were assigned at birth, a point with which Lopez basically agreed. “I’m kind of blown away, too,” replied Lopez, who recently left Extra to begin hosting Access Hollywood. He continued: “Look, I’m never one to tell anyone how to parent their kids obviously and I think if you come from a place of love, you really can’t go wrong. “But at the same time, my God, if you’re three years old and you’re saying you’re feeling a certain way or you think you’re a boy or a girl or whatever the case may be, I just think it’s dangerous as a parent to make this determination then, well, okay, then you’re going to a boy or a girl, whatever the case may be … “It’s sort of alarming and my gosh, I just think about the repercussions later on.” That last part is one reason why Lopez is now under fire. The repercussions ? Meaning what, exactly? That this boy or girl may live as a transgender individual. Is that the end of the world, Mario? Lopez, who welcomed his third child with wife Courtney Mazza this month, also Owens that his older kids don’t associate with children who are trans or gender nonbinary: “They don’t kick it with those kids.” YIKES, right? A few hours after these quotes went viral, Lopez offered up a mea culpa. “The comments I made were ignorant and insensitive, and I now have a deeper understanding of how hurtful they were,” he said, concluding as follows; “I have been and always will be an ardent supporter of the LGBTQ community, and I am going to use this opportunity to better educate myself. Moving forward I will be more informed and thoughtful.” According to a 2019 report from The Trevor Project, 1.8 percent of teenage Americans identify as transgender. More than half of transgender males under 18 report attempting suicide, while 29.9 percent of young trans women try to kill themselves. Maybe something to consider the next time celebrities make dumb, ignorant comments on the topic.
Earlier this week, a judge ruled that a Christian rapper’s copyright infringement case against Katy Perry could proceed to the trial stage. The rapper — who goes by the stage name Flame — claims that Perry’s 2013 hit “Dark Horse” is a ripoff of his song “Joyful Noise.” It’s a bit ironic, considering that title must have been used by about 40 bajiliion Christian recording artists before Flame came along, but that’s a conversation for another time. Now, you may be wondering what in the hell (pardon us, evangelical readers) all of this has to do with Jessa Duggar. Well, if you’re a fan of her family’s and you follow her husband on social media, then you might already be familiar with Flame, aka Marcus Grey. Grey is a longtime Duggar associate who was once interviewed by Jessa’s husband, Ben Seewald, on the topic of race relations in America. Ben Seewald on Racial Unrest (There was a time when Ben tried to fashion a career for himself as a media figure who asks the tough questions. The less said about that phase, the better.) “Flame has been doing Christian hip hop for many years now,” Ben told the camera. “I started listening to some of Flame’s music a little over a year ago. I really appreciated the content of his music. We actually became friends.” Ben goes on to explain that his wife later became friends with Flame, and the couple even introduced the rapper to their then-infant son, Spurgeon. “During this visit we want to kind of introduce Flame to life in the country as opposed to life in the city,” Ben said when Grey’s visit to their was captured by TLC cameras. For years now, the Duggars have been outspoken critics of secular pop culture, and they’re especially chagrinned by what they see as overly-sexualized music directed at younger audiences. In other words, they’re probably not very big Katy Perry fans. This, combined with the unusually heated nature of Flame’s court battle against Perry (The singer even offered to perform her song live in front of the judge to make her case.) has led to rumors that Katy and Jessa don’t like each other. However, while it seems very likely that Jessa dislikes Katy, it seems equally likely that Katy has no idea who Jessa is. Besides, both women have so much on their plates these days that new enemies are probably the last thing on their minds. Katy has enough feuds to keep her busy for the next few decades. Meanwhile, Jessa just welcomed her third child . So as entertaining as it would be if these two started taking shots at one another on Twitter, sadly, it’ll probably never happen. What happened on 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way looked like a cute moment, if a little dramatic. Laura whipped out a vibrator and Aladin freaked out . A funny reminder of cultural differences that could easily be overcome, right? But maybe not. After the episode aired, Aladin purged all mention of Laura from his social media. Did that episode end their marriage ? “Jiggy-jiggy” is all fun and games until somebody gets a dose of reality. Producers for 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way asked Laura and Aladin how their first night together as a married couple went. Aladin clearly had no complaints, though he was a little bashful about the details. Laura, in the mean time, is an older woman and she knows what she wants to get out of life. She revealed to the camera that it was over in just two minutes. Her disappointment in her young, hot husband was palpable. So the following night, Laura decided that it was time to surprise Aladin with one of the toys that she had wisely brought with her to Qatar. See, before she left the US, she purchased a number of sex toys that she figured would be necessary. Laura, it turns out, figured correctly. She pulled out a vibrator and asked Aladin if he knew what it was. Aladin seemed confused, and asked if it was perhaps some sort of microphone. When Laura explained what it was, however, Aladin’s move quickly changed for the worse. He was transparently offended, and acted under the mistaken belief that this was some sort of affront to his masculinity or sexual prowess. He threatened to throw away the vibrator and then departed in a huff to go for a walk to cool off. Laura was clearly shocked by his juvenile, petulant response to what should have been a sexy, educational conversation. Unfortunately, it looks like their troubles had only just begun. Maybe Aladin hadn’t heard all that was said during the episode. Maybe he was mistakenly operating under the assumption that some of the conversations on camera would not be aired. Either way, it looks like he was not prepared for when the episode featuring the vibrator incident aired. After the episode aired, Aladin purged every single photo and video that included Laura, wiping her from his Instagram. The only trace of her was a moment in a highlight reel. And that’s not all. … Aladin also shared a message to his Instagram Stories. “You can’t force someone to respect you,” the text-based message begins. The Story continues: “But you can refuse to be disrespected.” Clearly, whether it’s an issue of personal immaturity or cultural misunderstanding (or both), Aladin felt disrespected. However he felt about the original incident, seeing it play out on screen made his feelings even more strongly negative. It sounds like Laura’s suggestion that they include sex toys in their “jiggy-jiggy” time made him feel like she had dismissed him as a lover. That’s not true, of course. Laura has every right to want to have orgasms of her own. Now … is their marriage over? We don’t know for sure, but it’s worth remembering that Aladin and Laura have had arguments and blocked each other on Instagram before. Maybe this is just another spat.
