Source: Daniel DeSlover / Splash News J. Cole has mastered the art of the album rollout, as evidenced by the clever way the Dreamville compilation project was put together. During a set in Las Vegas, the North Carolina star used a savvy video to announce the follow-up to his acclaimed KOD album. The Dreamville honcho was one of the closing headliners for the three-day Day N Vegas festival this past weekend and delivered another one of his crowd-pleasing sets. During one portion of his show, J. Cole rolled out a promotional video styled similarly to a presidential campaign spot. If the speculation surrounding the clip is true, this would serve as the first official announcement of an upcoming LP titled The Fall Off . Source: WENN/Avalon / WENN Now that Nicki Minaj is moving into the broadcasting space, she now has a platform to address anything she pleases including others in her field who throw shots at her personal life. Via Friday’s (November 1) Queen Radio episode on Apple Music, Mrs. Petty had some bars for Wendy Williams after the veteran talk show host made mention of Minaj’s husband and his criminal past during a “Hot Topics” segment. The Blast reports : Nicki slammed Wendy for speaking ill of her husband and basically said she should keep her mouth shut on the topic considering her estranged husband, Kevin Hunter, reportedly got another woman pregnant while they were still married. “When you announce my husband, P, there’s no need for you to mention his past. Every time you mention him, you feel the need to bring these things up as well as something he was wrongfully accused of doing…” Nicki said on Queen Radio. She also added that while she understands that Wendy is a journalist, she could “report the news without that level of viciousness.” The rapper didn’t hold back, turning focus on Wendy Williams and insinuating her husband stepping out on her was karma for all the viciousness she’s done in her past. “B—- where was you at when Kevin had his d— knee deep in that b—- p—-? I pray for you because I know you’re hurting and I know you must be sick and humiliated,” the new bride stated. But it wasn’t just all anger spewing from Nicki’s mouth. She also made sure to tell her listeners that she had been cheering Wendy on during her troubled times, but the sweetness didn’t last long. According to the outlet, Minaj says she has even more smoke for Williams on the next episode of Queen Radio . — Photo: WENN

We all know O.J. Simpson is almost definitely guilty of murdering two innocent people back in June of 1994. But is the former running back also guilty of a lesser unethical act? Did he also have an affair with Kris Jenner many decades ago and might he actually be the biological father of Khloe Kardashian ? This may seem like a wild rumor, but remember two things: Kris was tight with O.J.’s late ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson because Jenner’s ex-husband, Robert, was good friends with O.j., even serving on his legal team during his infamous murder trial. Khloe is taller than her sisters. These are really the only two facts that support this ongoing rumor of O.J. being Khloe’s dad — but the speculation has run so rampant that Kris addressed such talk on Sunday night’s episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. “June’s always depressing. It always reminds me of the anniversary of Nicole’s death,” Jenner told with mother, MJ Shannon, on air. “And it’s like, year after year, it becomes a little more faded.” Brown Simpson was killed — alongside Ron Goldman — on June 12, 1994. This summer marked the 25th anniversary of the tragedy; and Jenner explained last night that she was asked to sit down for an interview to mark the awful milestone. She turned it down, however. “The last thing we want to do is keep talking about that side of it again,” Jenner said. “Just with [what] the public wants to know, and what they’re interested in, is not the same thing as what our memories are and where our hearts are.” Makes sense to us. Kris then delved into chatter of her having slept with O.J. and expressed total disdain over their existence. “It’s really kind of pathetic that when rumors get started the media gives it life and breath,” she lamented. “And on the anniversary of Nicole’s death, it’s so tasteless and disgusting.” Jenner could have ignored the unfounded gossip, of course, but chose to be proactive on the episode instead. Yup, she confirmed plans to sue the unnamed publication that printed the O.J. Simpson affair story. “It’s just lie after lie after lie after lie and there’s only so much that one human being can take,” Jenner said to Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner. Couldn’t Kris just focus on “the good,” as suggested by Khloe and not waste any time or energy on this nonsense? No way, that would not make for a good episode storyline, Kris replied. Just kidding. She said this instead: “I think it’s just really unfair to Nicole’s family, my family for these stupid rumors to be flying around out there. It’s always right there, under the surface. “My team has decided to take legal action because, once and for all, I have to do something about it.” Watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 17 Episode 8 Online O.J. apparently felt the same way. He actually released a video that addressed this same rumor , and he allegedly ran into Jonathan Cheban, according to Kim. “He goes, ‘I know you’re best friends with the girls. Please tell them I say hi,'” the KKW Beauty boss claimed to Khloe and Scott Disick. “‘I’m so proud of them. I see everything that’s going on.'” In the end, Jenner was happy that Simpson set the record straight, declaring that the issue was “done and done” as far as she’s concerned. T he legacy of a historic Black community that once resided in the epicenter of New York City will be memorialized. According to the Smithsonian , a new monument will capture the history of Seneca Village. A planned monument announced by Mayor Bill de Blasio’s office earlier this month is set to honor a prominent African-American family that once lived in the bustling community. https://t.co/e9lP5P9eNG — Smithsonian Magazine (@SmithsonianMag) October 30, 2019 The 19th-century village—which was cultivated in 1825—was one of the state’s first free Black communities. It spanned from West 83rd Street to 89th Street; which is now Central Park. In the 1850s the village had over 225 residents and African Americans made up two-thirds of the population. Many of the properties that were a part of the village were Black-owned. The creation of Central Park ultimately led to the erasure of the community and the displacement of its residents. Individuals living in Seneca Village were forced to leave in 1857. New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio recently announced that a monument will be created to pay homage to a prominent family that resided in the community. The Lyons family owned and operated a boarding house for Black sailors. The home also served as a stop on the Underground Railroad. Mary and Albro Lyons were educators and their daughter Maritcha Remond Lyons was involved in social activism and co-founded the Woman’s Loyal Union of New York and Brooklyn. The $1.15 million memorial is being funded by several organizations including the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the Ford Foundation, the Laurie M. Tisch Illumination Fund and the JPB Foundation. “The Lyons family story began more than a hundred years ago in a thriving Black community that was razed to build Central Park,” Deputy Mayor for Housing and Economic Development Vicki Been said in a statement . “We finally recognize their contribution to New York and American history with a monument.” Although many people are excited about the project, there has been some criticism because the monument may be placed on 106th Street; 20 blocks away from the village’s historic location. There is no word on when the project will be completed. Jeremy Roloff has shared some surprising news with fans. And also some concerning news. The former Little People, Big World star took to Instagram late this week and informed followers of the following piece of information: He very recently underwent surgery. On Saturday, the 29-year old explained what happened, why it happened — and how he’s making changes to ensure it never happens again. “Yesterday I had my first surgery. Inguinal hernia surgery. “I’ve had a hernia for the past few years, but thought I could live with it in order to avoid surgery, so I ignored it.” Yiikes, huh? We don’t recall Jeremy having ever touched on such an issue before. He continued with his update by providing a lot more information. To wit: “Over the last several months I’ve been having some increasing health concerns, specifically severe lower back pain and chronic shoulder pain. “I’ve come to realize that I’ve been subconsciously protecting my hernia with poor posture and lack of core strength.” The host of a podcast and the author of a memoir, Jeremy went on to say that he isn’t in peak physical condition. This has a lot to do with how he’s been feeling, too. “I’ve pretty much eliminated all physical exercise too which has increased the problem because of muscle loss which has me walking weird as well,” he wrote online, adding: I’ve been ignoring my health and it all came to a head when just a few days ago I threw out my back after sneezing. Embarrassing, right? Roloff is expecting his second child with wife Audrey in January. So it’s imperative that he gets back on his feet in order to help with his growing family, especially once the newborn arrives. “All said, I’m considering this a turn in my health journey,” Roloff concluded. “I have a goal to be in the best shape of my life by 32. Health is something that needs continual attention or else it unnoticeably fades – like most things in life. Time to put some attention back on personal health!” For those interested, a hernia occurs when an organ pushes through an opening in the muscle or tissue that holds it in place, per the Cleveland Clinic. For men, the inguinal canal is a passageway for the spermatic cord and blood vessels leading to the testicles. The injury can be very painful if left untreated, as Jeremy just found out. We’re glad he’ll soon be back on his feet, though, and ready to help with precious baby number-two. Jeremy and Audrey announced that they are expanding their family in July … and revealed it would be a baby boy in August. ”We’re so excited!” Roloff wrote on Instagram for the gender reveal, which featured footage of the former reality stars finding out it was a boy via blue-colored smoke. “We are surprised and can’t wait to be a family of four,” Audrey captioned her own video. We have some real drama between two cast members on The Real Housewives of Orange County. We’re talking about some real serious legal drama here. In a surprising turn of events, Vicki Gunvalson has filed a lawsuit against her fellow Bravo colleague, Kelly Dodd, accusing her rival of making defamatory statements toward her. According to documents filed on November 1, Gunvalson is irate over allegations hurled in her direction by Dodd, most notably such quotes as: You prey on older people , You are a con woman and You engaged in fraud . Initially, Vicki included Bravo and its parent company, NBCUniversal, in the complaint — but she later dismissed both the network and the company from the lawsuit. We’ve obviously heard of plenty of Real Housewives getting all angry over what someone else said on air or in some interview about her. But this is the time we’ve heard of actual legal action being taken in response. The 57-year old Coto Insurance CEO claims the allegations Dodd made are false and that they could “damage her reputation and livelihood,” negatively affecting her career outside of the series if the network airs them on national television at any point in the future. To be clear, the episode during which Dodd says these things about her foe has not yet aired. Gunvalson is seeking an injunctive relief and damages, stating that she doesn’t want the entire episode to be pulled from the air. However, she is demanding that producers remove the remarks Kelly made about Vicki being a “con woman” from the installment in question. This lawsuit, of course, is brand new. But tension between Vicki and Kelly has been lingering for several months. Dodd told Us Weekly in August that she will “never, ever, ever” be friends with Vicki after she accused her of doing cocaine during season 13. Kelly pushed for Vicki to be fired at the time. “I think that she uses everybody as a story line. She doesn’t really have anything in her life,” Kelly said last year, adding: “You know, her kids are gone, her grandkids are gone. It’s just her — what are we going to watch her and [fiancé] Steve [Lodge] drink wine on the couch?” Gunvalson was demoted to a “friend” role for season 14. But this didn’t stop her and Dodd from engaging in several arguments . “If Kelly had a job and went to work every day like I do, she wouldn’t have time to constantly throw stones at others,” Vicki said in August. “She really needs to worry about herself.” We can also now confirm that The Real Housewives of Orange County reunion will be filmed next Friday, November is 8. Both Dodd and Gunvalson are expected to attend. View Slideshow: Kelly Dodd: Vicki Gunvalson is a Freaking Psycho Pig Bish C–t!!
Rudy Boesch, one of the best-known contestants in the history of Survivor, has died after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s disease. He was 91 years old. Boesch, a breakout star during Survivor’s very first season, was a former Navy Seal. He was cast back in 2000 at the age of 72, finishing the season in third place and quickly became a fan favorite due to his lovably cantankerous persona. Tweeted Rudy’s ally from that memorable run on the series, after learning of his death: “Ours was an interesting bond, Dear Rudy! You and I helped open minds and undermine predjudces [sic]. While your time here has passed, you will remain loved and iconic, dear friend!” Rudy served in Vietnam and earned the Bronze Star Medal for heroic action. He retired from the military in 1990, a decade before becoming the oldest player to ever compete on Survivor. That first season, of course, was such a huge hit that CBS has since ordered 37 more. After the debut season of Survivor, Rudy made an encore on Survivor: All-Stars in 2004. Boesch married Marjorie Thomas in 1955, and they had three kids. They remained married for 53 years, until her death in 2008. During season 1, Boesch’s closest friend was Hatch, the openly gay corporate trainer who ultimately won the show. It was an unexpected alliance… to say the least. “Rudy Boesch and I both served our country in the military: he in the Navy, and I in the Army,” Hatch told People Magazine, adding: “But Rudy also served our country as an example of honesty and open-mindedness by respectfully engaging and aligning with me, an openly homosexual man, to play Survivor on the world stage.” Survivor: All Stars contestant Rob Cesternino also recalled his friendship with Boesch to People. This is what he said: Rudy was my roommate for weeks on our trip to Argentina after we both were voted out during Survivor: All-Stars. I would hang on his every word because he was would tell and re-tell all these amazing stories with his unique combination of brutal honesty and a razor-sharp wit. I’ve never met anybody who could ever make me laugh as much as Rudy. Funeral arrangements for Boesch have not yet been announced. He’s the latest ex-Survivor star to pass away, following Jenn Lyon, who placed fourth on Survivor: Palau, who died in 2010 after a six-year battle with breast cancer. Original Survivor contestant BB Andersen passed away of brain cancer in 2013 at age 77. In 2014, 26-year-old Blood vs. Water contestant Caleb Bankston was killed in a railway accident. Survivor Gabon contestant Dan Kay died in 2017. And Survivor: China’s Ashley Massaro died of suicide earlier this year. View Slideshow: Celebrities Who Died in 2019: In Memoriam
After Amber Portwood was arrested back in July for assaulting Andrew Glennon, things have been pretty darn crazy. There have been court dates, leaked recordings, so many accusation of so many wrongdoings … It was a little overwhelming for us, so we can't imagine how intense it was for Amber and Andrew. But earlier this week, Amber took a plea deal and the case was closed — we already knew that. What we didn't know is that Andrew read a statement about his experience with Amber in court … a statement that has been released in its entirety. So let's check it out! 1. So Much There’s a whole, whole lot to discuss here, so let’s get the recap out of the way real quick, OK? 2. The Arrest Amber was arrested in the wee hours of the morning on July 5th after chasing Andrew, who was holding baby James, around the house with a machete. She was charged with three felonies, including domestic battery and criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon. 3. Lots of Leaks It’s taken nearly four months for the case to be settled, and in that time several recordings were leaked that proved Amber emotionally and physically abused Andrew, often in front of James. 4. Denial At first, Amber denied everything except beating him with a shoe the night she was arrested (which, you know, is still assault). She accused him of cheating on her and made fun of him for texting 911 that night instead of calling or just running away. Eventually she wrote off all her horrible actions by saying it was because of her postpartum depression. 5. Wild On Thursday, she officially accepted a plea deal at her final court hearing. She was sentenced to probation for two and a half years — as part of the probation, she can’t leave the state, she has to take weekly drug tests and be evalutated for mental health issues and substance abuse problems. 6. Questionable Andrew’s no contact order against her still stands, but she’s been granted three unsupervised visits with James every week, which seems odd. View Slideshow
