Emily Hartridge, Popular YouTube Star, Dies in Scooter Accident

Emily Hartridge, a beloved YouTube star and personal trainer/presenter in Great Britain, died on Friday after being involved in an electric scooter accident. She was 35 years old. The tragic news was revealed in an Instagram post that reads as follows: Hi everyone. This is a horrible thing to have to say over Instagram but we know many of you were expecting to see Emily today and this is the only way to contact you all at once. Emily was involved in an accident yesterday and passed away. We all loved her to bits and she will never be forgotten. She has touched so many lives it’s hard to imagine things without her. She was a very special person. Here is a look at the message in full: Elsewhere, without naming the online personality, London’s Metropolitan Police Service released details of a collison between a scooter and a truck on Friday. “Police were called at 08:36hrs on Friday, 12 July to reports of an electric scooter being in collision with a lorry at Queenstown Road, junction with Battersea Park Road SW8. Officers and London Ambulance Service attended,” this report read. “A woman in her 30s had suffered serious injuries and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.” Hartridge had close to 350,000 YouTube subscribers at the time of her passing. She started posting seven years ago and rose to prominence mostly due to videos in listicle form, typically titling footage such as this “10 Reasons Why …” where topics ranged from sex, relationships, love, gender and life. Her latest video was called “10 Reasons to Get a Younger Boyfriend” and it centered on that fact that her boyfriend is eight years her junior. On average, Hartridge earned around three million views a month and went on to host TV shows such as 4OD’s Oh Sh*t I’m 30 . Hartridge’s last Instagram post, meanwhile, was shared on Friday, as she talked  about her reaction to a troll who asked if she was a man because of her lean-muscular physique. “I have never adhered to societal norms and I am certainly not going to start now,” the 35-year old explained in response. YouTube Creators released a statement on Twitter Saturday that read: We’re deeply saddened to learn about the tragic loss of a truly talented British creator, Emily Hartridge. Our thoughts and condolences go out to all of her loved ones and fans. Fans and others YouTubers also took to social media in mourning, with author Greg Jenner Tweeting: “Deeply saddened to see this on Instagram. I met @emilyhartridge on a train 5 years ago, and by the end of the journey we’d shared all sorts of things about our mental health and insomnia. “She was funny, kind, and open-hearted. My deepest sympathies to the Hartridge family.” Added celebrity host Maude Garrett: “I’m really struggling to comprehend the sudden passing of my friend @emilyhartridge. 13 TV Characters Who Are a Waste of Air

Some characters make watching TV shows worthwhile.  Others… not so much. Some make you wonder why you're even watching said TV show. Know what we mean? Below, we've listed characters who are a waste of air. It's sad, but true. They suck. And this is why: 1. Rick Grimes – The Walking Dead Look, we really loved Rick during the earlier seasons of The Walking Dead. He took the leadership role very seriously, but somewhere along the way, he started to make mistakes. He didn’t take ownership of them and continued to be in power. He may be gone from the main series, but fans still have to endure this character sulking his way through a trilogy of movies. 2. Jon Snow – Game of Thrones At one point, people cared about Jon Snow, but by the time the final season arrived, he might as well have been a guest star. He did very little for five episodes, before plucking up the courage to murder his aunt/lover. His reward? Going beyond the wall … after the Night King’s army had been obliterated. 3. Owen Hunt – Grey’s Anatomy Remember when April and Arizona were written out of Grey’s Anatomy because the creative forces behind the show were struggling to serve all of the characters? Well, Owen should have been the one to go before either of those two. His storyline has been tedious for several seasons. He sucks the air out of every scene he’s in. It’s time for him to go. 4. Alaric Saltzman – Legacies Alaric has appeared on The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, and more recently, Legacies. The character continues to make the same mistakes he has since the character first appeared on screens in 2009. More recently, his ridiculous decision to not teach his students defensive magic almost resulted in a lot of them dying. 5. Laurel Castillo – How to Get Away with Murder It’s Laurel’s world and everyone is just living in it … at least, according to her. Every single plot twist over the last few seasons have most revolved around Laurel and her crazy family and it needs to stop. 6. Octavia Blake – The 100 At one point, Octavia was the best part of The 100, but her descent into madness during the show’s fifth season solidified her as a villain, and completely irredeemable. OMG! OMG! Meghan Markle Just Met Beyonce!!!!!

The two most famous couples in the world met in London on Sunday night, July 14. We're barely even exaggerating here, as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made their red carpet debut at the European premiere of The Lion King remake this weekend. And just who did they meet at this event? None other than Beyonce and Jay-Z!!!!!!!! Why were they in attendance? Because Beyonce is the voice of Nala in this film and because the star-studded celebration was actually held in support of Harry’s ongoing conservation work and his service on behalf of communities near endangered wildlife in Africa. Jenelle Evans and David Eason: Surprise, We’ve Got New Dogs!

OK, so this is some really terrible news. Like, just sincerely awful. Because you know how Jenelle Evans is the world's worst pet owner? There are so many examples of this, like there's the old Teen Mom 2 scene where she kept her dog and Nathan Griffith's dog in cages that were way too small for them. She yelled and screamed at them and even let them loose outside and told them to leave — they could have easily been hit by a car. Then there was the time that she tried to get that same dog of hers to fetch a lit firework. That very same dog — her pitbull, Jax … he's been through a lot — seems to have a broken tail in the photos and videos she's shared of him in the last couple of years, lots of people are mad about that. And then, of course, there's the case of Nugget, her little French bulldog . You know what happened, but real quick, let's recap. See, Nugget was never trained properly, and it seems like Jenelle and David never taught the kids how to interact with animals in a respectful way. We saw that in that video David shared on Instagram of Ensley climbing all over Nugget and getting close to her face, even though the dog was very clearly uncomfortable. Nugget gave her a warning nip, as dogs tend to do — a little “back up” communication. She didn't even break the skin, but David grabbed her, threw her outside, and shot her . We know that because both David and Jenelle said that's what happened, as did countless reports about what went down at the Eason home in the following days. Now, Jenelle is saying that she's not sure what happened to her dog , but she never heard a gunshot and she never saw David do anything. Ridiculous, right? You know what else is ridiculous? They just got two new puppies. In a new video David shared on his YouTube channel, he introduces the puppies — two Anatolian Shepherds named Buddy and Junior. In his caption, he explained that “Recently we had to find a better way of protecting our chickens and livestock.” “We have hawks and crows always eating the heads off our chickens and plastic owls are not doing the trick.” He said that poor Jax, Jenelle's old pitbull, killed one of their bigs, so “we decided to give him to a friend.” “After lots of research we came across this breed of dog called the Anatolian Shepherd,” David continued. “They are one of the most unique types of dog I have ever seen and have the best temperament and disposition of any dog I have ever owned.” He finished up his explanation with “They are a livestock guardian breed and do not mind eating and sleeping with all our animals on The Land!” Right, so this is horrible for several reasons. One, they have absolutely no business owning any animals after what happened to Nugget, and it's insane that they're flaunting two new puppies like this. Two, David keeps talking about how sweet and calm the puppies are in the video — does he really think tiny little Nugget was more dangerous than these two? Three, a quick bit of research on this breed shows that they're working dogs, and without rigorous training, they can become destructive and aggressive. They can also grow to be well over 100 pounds, with males reaching up to 150 pounds. If they couldn't handle training Nugget, who was maybe ten pounds, then what are they going to do with two 100+ pound dogs? They obviously didn't learn anything with the CPS case and the animal cruelty investigation, and we know all the kids go out and help with tending to the animals. Dog the Bounty Hunter: I Don’t Want to Live Without My Wife!

Beth Chapman, reality star and wife of Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman, passed away last month after battling cancer. And if you know anything about Dog’s relationship with Beth, you know that it was an absolutely devastating loss. Beth passed away on June 26th after originally being diagnosed with throat cancer in 2017. A few days later, friends and family had a memorial service in Hawaii , and Dog explained that they’d have another in Colorado at a later date — they called both states home. Yesterday, everyone gathered again in Colorado, and again, the service was open to anyone and everyone who wanted to pay tribute to Beth. That’s how we know all the unbelievably heartbreaking things he said in his speech there. For example, at one point in his remarks, he said “I cannot believe believe that she’s gone. This is not possible, I want to wake up from a dream.” “In the ’70s, I did 18 months in the Texas penitentiary and I told God yesterday I’d do five years, ten years day to day just to kiss her again. I never felt like this.” At another point, he told the people in attendance “She will never be dead to me. She is in another place.” “I’m gonna get to heaven and make her so proud,” he added. “she’s gonna say it like she said here, ‘That’s my man right there, that’s big daddy right there.'” Dog’s speech, which lasted for nearly 30 minutes, also touched on what happened after Beth’s diagnosis . “She’d gotten sick,” he recalled, “they told her she got cancer. they said she could do chemo though, they said she would have to sit at home while Dog films the show.” The show he’s referring to is Dog’s Most Wanted, which hasn’t begun airing yet but which did feature Beth’s failing health . “The show did not kill her but she died for it,” Dog explained. “She said, ‘Do you think I’m going to let you go out by yourself and film this TV show? You’re out of your mind.'” He said that he told her that she “might have to do chemo and stuff, but she replied with “All it’ll do is keep me alive six months longer and I’m not going to do that because I want to be by your side.” And while they were filming, “She would tell these guys on the show, “You’re trying to die doing these drugs and I’m trying to live.’ Those guys started bawling and crying.” Speaking of bawling and crying, Dog took some time to speak on one of the last conversations he had with his wife. “She said, ‘Please big daddy, please let me go,'” he remembered. “I said, ‘No, I can’t. I’m not gonna let you go.'” “I still haven’t let her go,” he admitted. Later, he said something similar with “If there’s a God, he won’t let me live that long without her.” Dog also felt the need to give some advice. “If you’re beefin’ with your old lady,” he told everyone, “stop and kiss her right now. Because you’re gonna feel so bad when he or her are not with you anymore.” “It is one of the worst feelings a man or woman could ever have, I’m telling you,” he insisted. “I’ve never felt this bad. I’m sad. I didn’t want to do a celebration of life because I’m sad. I miss her so much.” We hope he manages to find some comfort soon. Nick Pendergrast, Married at First Sight Star, Reveals Partial Paralysis

Nick Pendergrast has opened up about something both very personal and, quite literally, very painful. The former reality TV star, who helped anchor Season 4 of Married at First Sight, shared details late this week regarding a near-fatal workplace accident that took place six months ago.  In a lengthy and emotional Instagram post on Friday, Pendergrast explained – for the first time to the public – that he is now partially paralyzed and that he was also forced to relocate from partner Heather Yerrid and their twins in order to receive proper care. Heavy, sad stuff. “It’s been a life changing and devastating 2019. “I knew for myself I needed to be in a better mental state to share what happened to me in January,” Pendergrast said at the outset of his message, which accompanied the photos above and below. “I don’t really know if I am truly ready to open up about all of it in fear of how it will be received. What I am sure of, I need all the support I can get right now to make it through this,” he continued. “These pictures were taken so that if I survived, I could see how far I have come to give me hope for the future.” From here, Nick went on to detail exactly what transpired back in January. Along with how it affected his relationship. “I was in an unfortunate severe accident while on the job. When Heather arrived to the ER, she was told they didn’t know if I was going to make it through the night. “January 22nd, I was found submerged in water for hours, with severe hypothermia, multiple pelvic fractures, severely comminuted sacral fractures, Morel-Lavallee, and more.” Pendergrast didn’t go into any further detail about the incident, focusing instead on the aftermath. “It’s been 6 and a half months and I finally feel like I’ve gotten a straight answer about what the future may hold,” he wrote. “The nerve damage caused by the blunt trauma has left me partially paralyzed.” The entire experience has obviously been brand new for Nick. Brand new and scary, he says. “Up until 2019, I had never met anyone in a wheelchair or knew of anyone in my circle that had experienced this type of thing. “I had to relocate to a place that had the best doctors to save my life, and the best environment to regain any functionality in my lower body.” Pendergrast says the “past 6 months have been lonely, depressing, scary, stressful, and difficult,” but he’s now trying to keep a positive frame of mind. This is how he wrapped up his post: Just recently, my goal has been to learn how to become independent again as a disabled individual. I have the support of my family.  Heather brings one child at a time to see me since she can’t yet travel with two. I am fighting every day to stay sane, motivated, and in high spirits.  It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do and I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. I have gained empathy, compassion, and gratitude through this and hope to gain more. If nothing else, I just want to be able to walk again. If anyone has experienced this and has a similar story, where they were told they will never walk again and did, I would love to hear from you.  Even if you were told you’d never walk again and didn’t, I would love to hear how you have coped and moved forward.  I am asking for your prayers, love, and hope through this difficult journey. In February of 2018, Pendergrast and Yerrid (pictured directly above) welcomed twins, a baby boy named Logan Joseph and a girl named Layla Rae. Throughout his recovery, Pendergrast said he’s only been able to see one child a time because Yerrid can’t yet travel with both. The Married at First Sight star was previously married to castmate Sonia Granados, but they filed for divorce after almost a year of marriage in 2017. We send Nick all of our thoughts and prayers.

Jenelle Evans: Facing New Charges in the Death of Nugget?!

The untimely death of Nugget, Jenelle Evans' poor little French bulldog, made a whole, whole lot of waves. And that's because the dog was killed by Jenelle's husband, David Eason. Or was she? Did David actually kill the dog? Is everything we know a lie? In the past few days, Jenelle has been talking more and more about what happened, and she's made an even bigger mess of everything, if you can even believe it. She's made a mess so big, in fact, that she may be facing charges for it. 1. Buckle Up! This is a long, complicated, sometimes infuriating story, all right? So settle in, maybe grab a snack or some tissues or like a stress ball or something, and let’s get started. 2. RIP Nugget At the end of April, David shot and killed Nugget, Jenelle’s dog, after she allegedly bit Ensley. It was a huge story at the time, and clearly it still is. 3. The Confession After the news of Nugget’s death broke, David took to Instagram to explain his side of the story, writing “I dont give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face… whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I dont put up with that sh-t at all. I’m all about protecting my family, it is my lifes mission.” 4. Worth Killing For “Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me,” he continued. “You can hate me all you want but this isnt the first time the dog bit Ensley aggressively. The only person that can judge weather or not a animal is a danger to MY CHILD is ME.” 5. Confirmed Jenelle confirmed the awful news several times in different statements — like, she said “David killed my dog Nugget because he snapped at my 2-year-old, Ensley. He doesn’t put up with that and those are his beliefs. He just took her and shot her in the woods … about two acres away from the house.” 6. More Evidence She shared countless stories on her social media accounts about how David had killed the dog, she posted a sad story about how devastated she was that the dog was gone and never coming back … like, we all know what happened. Stephanie Niznik, Everwood and Star Trek Actress, Dead at 52

Stephanie Niznik, a peter actress best known for roles on Everwood and Star Trek: Insurrection, died unexpectedly in Encino, California on June 23. She was 52 years old. As of this writing, no official causre of death has been listed by Variety, which broke the sad news, or any other outlet. Niznik rose to prominence due to her role of Nina Feeney, the neighbor of the Brown family and eventual love interest for Dr. Andy Brown (Treat Williams), on Everwood. She portrayed this character for four seasons and recently returned for the show’s 15th anniversary panel at the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour in 2017. It is from this event that we took the photos immediately above and below. The actress  was a native of Bangor, Maine. She reportedly hoped to become a geneticist prior to graduating from Duke  with majors in theater and Russian. From there, Niznik pursued a masters at Cal Arts and then started acting with roles in programs such as Vanishing Son and Murder She Wrote. These roles marked the beginning of an impressive career on the small screen. Niznik also appeared on Nash Bridges and Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman before landing a recurring role on Diagnosis Murder. Along with her work on Everwood, she enjoyed recurring roles on Life is Wild and made guest appearances on Lost, NCIS and CSI: Miami, some of the highest-rated series of their era. As mentioned previously, Niznik will likely be best remembered for her extended time on Everwood. But she also played Trill Starfleet Ensign Kell Perim in the feature film Star Trek: Insurrection, returning to the Star Trek universe to play the Wraith in the Rogue Planet episode of the series Star Trek: Enterprise. Niznik also stopped by ABC for an important episode of Grey’s Anatomy; she was on the backdoor pilot special for spinoff series Private Practice, playing Carol in the fan-favorite Season 3 installment. She is survived by her mother and stepfather, brother and sister-in-law, her niece and nephews, aunt and uncle and her beloved dogs Nucleus and Jake. May Stephanie Niznik rest in peace. On the surface, MTV’s Ex on the Beach is just another anonymous reality show in which scantily-clad twentysomethings down fishbowl-sized cocktails and compete to exchange fluids. And it might have gone down in flames alongside the disaster known as Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club , were it not for the producers’ brilliant idea of casting already-established nutjobs from previous series. Teen Mom has-been Farrah Abraham spiced up the first season with her unique blend of nonsensical word salad and porn star chicanery. And now, the similarly-psychotic Aubrey O’Day is being trotted out to spice up season 2: You might remember Aubrey from her role on Making the Band or as the ex-girlfriend of Jersey Shore ‘s Pauly D . But O’Day’s most recent tabloid headlines have to do with her affair with Donald Trump Jr. The president’s large adult son slept with O’Day several times while he was still married to Vanessa Trump. Don Jr. and Vanessa got divorced back in February, but Young Donald wasn’t single for long. He began dating Fox News anchor Kimberly Guilfoyle before the ink was dry on his divorce papers. And in case you were one of the very few people who wondered exactly what Aubrey thought about all of this, fear not!  Because we’re alive during the weirdest time in human history, you’re about to learn new details about the president’s son’s love life from an MTV reality show! According to a new report from TMZ, O’Day will talk about Don Jr. a lot during the upcoming season of Ex . And we’re guessing she didn’t need much coaxing in that direction, as DTJ seems to be her favorite topic of discussion! TMZ sources who have viewed footage from upcoming episodes say Aubrey sounds off on all things Trump whenever she’s given the opportunity. Apparently, she describes Don Jr. as her “soul mate,” and she bashes Guilfoyle as “crazy-looking.” At one point, Aubrey even begs Don Jr. to dump Guilfoyle so that the two of them can get back together. Something tells us that won’t be happening anytime soon. For one thing, Guilfoyle has the presidential seal of approval, and it’s been rumored that she and Lil Donnie are quite serious these days. On top of that, Vanessa Trump was pregnant during Don’s time with Aubrey, so you can bet he won’t be re-opening that scandalous chapter from his past with an election fast approaching. But hey, if you believe Aubrey, the Trump political dynasty will soon be coming to an end regardless. “The White House fiasco is about to be over,” she reportedly told MTV.
