Nipsey Hussle’s Daughter Honors Him At Her Graduation

The 10-year-old recently graduated and though her father wasn’t there physically, she made sure to honor in during her speech. “I want to begin by sharing my thankfulness for my mom for believing in me, and my dad, for always being there for me,” Emani said. After losing her father back in March, her uncle, known as Blacc Sam, and her aunt Samantha Smith, were involved in a custody battle with her mother, Tanisha Foster. They are claiming that Foster cannot provide a fit environment for Emani and isn’t able to provide adequate care. According to TMZ, Nipsey Hussle’s family claims that Foster has an 18-year-old daughter and 17-year-old son that she hasn’t raised, which they feel further proves their point about Foster not being able to provide a stable home for Emani. Cardi B Grinds on Offset in Epic On-Stage BET Awards Lapdance: WATCH!

We've already reported on the winners at the 2019 BET Awards , but the real winners were those of us who watched Cardi B perform. No, scratch that — the real winner was Offset, because of his role in her performance. Cardi gave him a wild and tantalizing lapdance on stage and it was the best part of the night. Take a look: On Sunday, Cardi B made it very clear that she was nervous about her upcoming performance. “Sooo I’m opening the show today,” Cardi wrote to her fans and followers. “And,” she admitted. “My anxiety is killing me.” That is a great reminder that part of Cardi's enduring popularity is that she is deeply relatable. “Wish me luck guys,” Cardi concluded, adding: “BET AWARDS!” Offset marched out onto the stage and performed. Comparing Offset's appeal and Cardi's is … wildly unfair to Offset, so we'll just skip right to Cardi's appearance. After Offset's male dancers (and the cameras) provided a distraction, the men pull back. We see Offset seated in a chair and receiving one hell of a lapdance from his gorgeous wife. Now, it's Cardi's turn to perform, rapping and singing to the camera. All the while, she's sitting and grinding upon her husband. As you watch Cardi's incredible skill as she performs, keep in mind that Cardi once did this professionally. Now, she's integrating those skills into a truly stunning performance. The camera orbits as she straddles Offset, giving the audience a taste of what she's offering up. Then, she turns around and undulates her body in a sinuous motion while facing the audience. The result is spectacular. Then, of course, she sings, and it's a great performance.  We're sure that Offset, wherever he was at this point, was giving her a standing ovation. Cardi had a busy night, but she still made time to tweet — and even to respond to fans. “Someone said Offset out-danced you,” one fan tweeted at her. The Twitter denizen used a pair of laughing emojis to correctly convey the absurdity of that comment. Cardi replied, and she found a very on-brand way to sidestep having to insult her husband. She quote-tweeted the fan's words, writing: “But let’s see who going to K.O first after sex tonight tho ?” Cardi kind of opened herself up to jokes about how she apparently used to drug and rob men, there. However, she also tweeted about what a good night she was having despite her anxiety. “I finally met taraji !!!!!!” Cardi exclaimed with glee. “The universe was trying to stop the link -___-” She also gave the overall experience a glowing review. “The @BET awards was so lit,” Cardi announced. “Everybody turn the f–k up from Beginning to End.” Of course, not all of Cardi's weekend was filled with fun … or filled with Offset . See, a grand jury voted to indict her for that Cardi-beatdown she allegedly ordered against a pair of strippers she accused of hooking up with Offset. It turns out that ordering your goons to attack a woman not once, but twice is a crime. Cardi may be rich, but money can only go so far when it comes to getting a famously hot-tempered person out of trouble with the law.

Meri Brown Continues to Shade All the Sister Wives

Meri Brown is really not even trying to hide it anymore. In the past, we maybe had to parse the reality star’s words and try to determine whether or not she was throwing shade at her fellow Sister Wives. But that was back then. Now? At this moment? Based on what the television personality just shared on her Instagram Story? We don’t think there’s any doubt any longer. “Never water yourself down just because someone can’t handle you at 100 proof,” Brown shared a couple days ago, not referencing Kody Brown or any of his other wives by name… … but come on now. Meri, for those who don’t follow Sister Wives closely, has been unhappy in her marriage for years now. It’s difficult to blame her, considering she must share her husband and her life with three other women at pretty much all times. About four years ago, Meri tried to break out of this arrangement and actually thought she had found a new guy — only to fall victim to a very embarrassing catfishing scandal . Since then, the state of her relationship with Kody has been a prominent Sister Wives storyline. In April, Meri made it clear she wasn’t happy about the move from Las Vegas to Arizona. About a month later, she appeared to get especially personal when she wrote the following on social media: I wish more women realized that helping another woman win, cheering her on, praying for her, or sharing a resource with her, does NOT take away from the blessings coming to them. In fact, the more you give, the more you receive. Empowering women doesn’t come from selfishness but rather from selflessness. Based on the fact that Meri wanted to start a bed and breakfast, and that none of her co-stars were willing to chip in financially with it, this was assumed to be a shot at Robyn, Janelle and Christine. And now we have Meri’s latest social media shot. The only question that now remains is whether or not Kody will response. Shortly after Meri slammed the Sister Wives for not being supportive, Kody pretty clearly came right back at her. “Bitterness is the undoing of creativity,” he Tweeted, adding: “Thus, a poet allows his blood to sweeten with pain. May all pain sweeten your blood so you will access Source Energy and find Peace.” Where will things go from here? It’s hard to say. Keeping Up with the Kardashians: Jordyn and Tristan, EXPOSED!

Wow. We were NOT prepared for that . In the days leading up to the first part of the Keeping Up with the Kardashians season finale, E! has released several clips from the episode . They previewed how Khloe would learn the scandalous truth about boyfriend Tristan Thompson had kissed good friend Jordyn Woods , teasing the emotional fallout from such a decision. We had also read about this incident and covered it in depth over the past several months. And yet we were still surprised by what went down on Sunday night. How so? Why was this the case? Keep reading to find out… 1. A Busy Woman To open the episode, Khloe revealed that she had been experiencing migraines and nausea for the last couple of months. She was also in the process of moving into a rental home while she renovated her Calabasas mansion. 2. In Her Own Words “I get really bad migraines but they’ve been increasing more and more. And I don’t know if my migraines and nausea are caused by the same thing, I’m not really sure. Some days I feel great and I don’t feel nauseous at all and I don’t have a headache and I’m fine. And then the next day, the slightest thing might really upset me, and I get blindsided by them.” 3. Umm… Could She Have Been Pregnant? Khloe took a test to find out and it came back negative. “I don’t know if I could have handled it if it did say ‘positive’ at the moment. I’m happy that I’m not pregnant because I didn’t want to be, but with that being said, now I’m like, ‘Why the f-ck am I nauseous all the time?’ I almost wish I was so I could say that’s why I’m nauseous,” Khloe said afterward. 4. She Felt AWFUL “Literally my whole head feels bruised because it’s been pounding for so long and it’s terrifying,” she continued. “I’m supposed to go to Cleveland tomorrow to see Tristan, but the way I’m feeling right now, I don’t know if I can be on a flight like that. I’ve been throwing up blood. It’s so intense. I’m blind in my left eye.” 5. She Got an MRI. It Came Back Negative. So Khloe still didn’t have any answers… and now it was moving day and Tristan was actually in town. 6. Khloe Was Anxious “I want everything to be all fresh and perfect for him,” she explained. “But today I have a migraine again, and that’s just annoying because I want to see Tristan. Tori Roloff Baby Bump: It Won’t Stop Growing!

Little People, Big World? More like Expecting Mother, Huge Baby Bump! Tori Roloff has been keeping Instagram followers well apprised of her pregnancy ever since announcing it to the world — and her latest update makes it clear that her and husband Zach’s second child is really anxious to get here. In other words: Roloff is growing bigger and bigger by the day! We mean no offense by this statement at all, of course. We’re basically just paraphrasing what Tori wrote as a caption to a couple new social media photos. “How are you so big already baby girl?!” Tori wrote along with the following photo, emphasizing once again that ths started showing far earlier this time around than she did back when she had Jackson growing inside of her. Tori first posted a picture of her baby bump back in early June, posing in a very cute manner while presenting her ever-changing body to the world. Check out that memorable snapshot HERE . At this point, however, you can tell that Tori is simply over it. She’s not trying to look especially put together or stylish or anything like that. She’s simply keeping it real by poinsting her phone at the mirror and clicking away. “I got things a size up to fit the growing up!” Tori penned as an affiliated message to the next photo. Just as she did during her first pregnancy, Tori has been very open with followers when it comes to what she’s going through now and what she thinks may happen down the line. Asked, for example, whether this second child will be a dwarf, Tori recently replied “50/50.” She and Zach learned close to the end of that initial pregnancy that their son would, indeed, be a dwarf; just like his dad and his grandparents. As for how she’s feeling at the moment? She revealed a short while ago that this second go-around has been “a lot harder. But still easy. If that makes sense… “I had no symptoms with J other than egg aversions. I’ve got all the symptoms this time.” The Roloffs broke their exciting baby news to fans on May 13. They confirmed both the gender and the general due date at the time as well, saying to Us Weekly: “We are so excited to announce that Jackson is going to be a big brother! Jackson State University Student Creates Straw That Filters Lead

F or Jackson State University graduate student LaMonté Pierce what started out as a class project focused on addressing an issue faced by communities in Mississippi led to the creation of a product designed to combat lead poisoning in water, WJTV reported. The JSU graduate student has received impressive offers from big retailers like Walmart which offered to sell CleanStraww in nearly 4,000 stores. https://t.co/0R8Zxwu4Tj — Lanaya Lewis (@LanayaLewis) June 20, 2019 Pierce and other students that he collaborated with decided to use the assignment as an avenue to address water contamination impacting the City of Jackson. They designed a straw that could be used to filter water. Pierce and his classmate Andrew Willis decided to go beyond the project and continue to do research and testing to turn the straw into a product that would be a catalyst in addressing water contamination in communities across the globe. Pierce’s efforts led to the creation of Cleanstraww . The straws are made of non-toxic materials and has a three-step filtering process which divides sediment and particles from water. He utilized a 3-D printer for the creation of the straw. “I saw somewhere they were drinking out of toilets, they were drinking from the river, different things like that. They use simple filters that you can find in everyday filters, but the thing was they did not filter out lead. If we can filter out lead, we can pretty much filter out anything,” he told the news outlet. “Take the responsibility of clean water directly out of the government, state and city officials hands and put it in the hands of the consumers. If you want clean water, here you go.” Several national retailers have expressed interest in selling his product, including Walmart. Pierce hopes that he can find investors for his product to grow his business and create more jobs in Mississippi. Products like Cleanstraww are needed. According to CBS News , lead in America’s water systems has become a growing national crisis. High School Seniors Host Prom At Hospital For Student Battling Cancer

W hen a group of high school seniors from New York learned that their classmate Ilijah Barron would be missing prom due to his ongoing battle with bone cancer, they were determined to make sure that he could experience the special day. Since Barron was unable to attend prom, the Liverpool High School students joined forces and organized a celebration for him at the hospital, Syracuse.com reported. This rare disease typically impacts the arm and leg bones. Prior to his diagnosis, Barron played on the varsity football team. Two years ago, he began experiencing severe pain in his legs. Initially many people thought the pain was a result of playing sports, but after several tests doctors discovered a tumor in one of his legs. He was diagnosed in February and has been in and out of the hospital ever since. Barron was planning on going to his senior ball but ended up in the hospital two days before the event. With the help of his mother Nelisha , his friends were able to organize a prom celebration for Barron at Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital. They all dressed up in gowns and suits and transformed the 11th floor of the hospital into the perfect backdrop for a prom celebration. The group listened to music and ate food from Dinosaur Bar-B-Que. Barron was moved to tears by the effort made by his friends to make sure that he would be able to experience prom. “I loved it,” he told the news outlet. “It was the most special moment ever. Having everybody there, all my friends. And it was my first high school dance.” Barron is not letting cancer get in the way of what he wants to accomplish. He still supports his school’s football team and has continued to excel academically. “I never sat down and said, ‘Why me?’” he said in a statement , after being named a Young and Amazing award recipient. “There’s no point in that, because it was only going to hurt me in the long run.
