If you've been keeping up with Mackenzie McKee, then you know her marriage hasn't been going well lately. It's been going so badly, in fact, that she's getting a divorce. Mackenzie has said a lot about how everything's been going, her reasoning behind the split, all sorts of things. But thanks to these new photos she just shared, we're starting to wonder if the split is even happening at all anymore … 1. So Much History Mackenzie and Josh have been together for a long time — they welcomed their first child in September of 2011 when they were both very young. 2. Memories They got married in 2013, had their second child in 2014, and their third in 2016. 3. What’s Been Happening? While Mackenzie is on Teen Mom OG now, she wasn’t on TV at all for most of all that — she had her 16 and Pregnant episode, the one season of Teen Mom 3, and then not much at all until MTV picked her back up recently. 4. Hmm So while we know oodles and oodles of information about all the other Teen Mom couples, we only know bits and pieces about the McKee marriage. 5. Cory Wharton is about to be a father for the second time. As previously reported, the alleged Teen Mom OG personality and girlfriend Taylor Selfridge are expecting a child . This is an exciting time for the ex-boyfriend of Cheyenne Floyd, who made many headlines in 2018 by appearing on the aforementioned MTV series as part of a storyline with Floyd, a relatively new member of this franchise. HOWEVER, a damning new allegation may be preventing Wharton from being in a celebratory mood right about now. What does he have to say about the new pregnancy? What does another woman have to say about Cory? What did the website which broke a scandalous story involving Cory and said other woman do now that his attorneys have evidently gotten involved? Ashley Martson and Jay Smith are no longer dating. In and of itself, this is not a shocking statement. The 90 Day Fiance stars are nearly as unstable as fellow reality TV personalities Jen Harley and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro. But the circumstances behind their latest split may come as a shock to even those who have followed the couple very closely over the past several months. How so? Martson and Smith met on a 90 Day Fiance, with the latter hailing from Jamaica and needing to marry a U.S. citizen in order to live here permanently. They wed in 2018, as seen on 90 Day Fiance Season 6. 2. What Went Wrong After That? Uhhh… everything? For starters, Smith was caught using a dating app days after their wedding. He was chatting with other women on Tinder. 3. Was It Over After That? Not exactly. The stars broke up and then reconciled and then Ashley filed for divorce in January 2019 and then took it back and then filed a second time in April 2019. 4. For What Reason? Because Smith was caught with a woman in a barbershop bathroom. This was merely the latest example of him cheating on his wife. Jay was then taken into ICE custody after he violated a protective order Martson had against him. 5. So It Was Definitely Over Then, Right? It sure sounded that way. “Honestly, I don’t really care if he’s deported,” Ashley told In Touch Weekly just this past August. 6. What the Heck Happened from There? It’s sort of unclear — but there were concerns in September that they got back together again after the two attended the same event in Pennsylvania. When it comes to a national search for a well-known figure, we have a new candidate for folks from coast-to-coast to be on the lookout for… … Kody Brown! Over the past few weeks, multiple members of Brown’s polygamous family have been sharing new family photos on social media. Take Christine, for example. The veteran reality star shared the following photo just a few days ago, explaining her fun adventure featured within it as follows: “Went to Bearizona today!! Super fun experience. Definitely saw many bears.” She included with this caption the hashtag “funwithfamily,” except here’s the thing: a rather important member of this family was absent, not taking part in the fun. Christine posted this message — along with several photos of some of her children and her grandson, Axel, enjoying the outing — with no sign of her husband. Anywhere. For her part, meanwhile, Meri Brown has not shared any photos with Kody in several months. The same can be said for Janelle Brown and Robyn Brown. With rumblings all around the Internet about the future of this popular show and the relationships that comprise it, fans can’t help but wonder: Why isn’t Kody seemingly EVER with any of his spouses?!? “Hey, just seems like [you’re] a single parent you do everything with [your] kids, where’s Kody?” asked one followers on Christine’s Instagram page, in response to one of her new photos. Another posed the same question; Does y’alls husband ever go anywhere with [you]? And then another addressed Christine as follows: Wish your family would update everyone on stuff. Like where is Kody? [You] and the other wives never post any pictures of him and [Robyn] has stopped posting altogether. Makes the rumors of Meri leaving and Robin [sic] divorcing Kody sound more true. Ah, yes: Those rumors… Meri has clearly been unhappy for years now. Granted, she moved with everyone else from Las Vegas to Arizona last year, but she is yet to put down roots there. As previously reported, Meri is merely renting a home , refusing to accept the notion that this is her permanent residence and perhaps that this is her permnanent romance. Remember her castfishing scandal from 2016 ? And subsequent quotes from Kody about how he and Meri are starting over and trying to just “date” for a little bit? There’s really no attempt at even hidingthe fact anymore that Meri doesn’t like her ongoing marital arrangement. What about all that aforementioned Robyn Brown divorce chatter? Unlike Meri, you won’t hear many complaints from this Sister Wives star herself — but we still have reasons to believe she wants out. Heck, we have reasons to believe that Sister Wives as a whole is in chaos . TLC has not yet announced a return date, although we’ve been hearing January 2020 for awhile, and Kody never seems to issue any statement that counters the narrative of general tension throughout his marriages. Clearly, Jill Duggar Dillard has had better weeks. First, she shared a photo of a baby casket , totally out of the blue, and got some pretty intense backlash from some upset fans. Now, she was just trying to run some simple errands when she got injured. And yes, there's video. Take a look below: “So, this happened today,” Jill Duggar's video, shared to her Instagram Stories, begins. “Love Sam's food, but … ” she writes in the captions. “Ouch, ya'll,” Jill declares, explaining: “I rammed my shin into that bar on the cart.” If you're not familiar with what she means, don't worry, both a snap below and the video itself illustrate what she means. “WHY does it stick out so far?” she laments. The captions on screen continue along with the video. “Was so trying to act like I wasn't limping while I wanted to cry,” Jill confesses. “I think it hurts worse the older you get,” she assesses. Jill continues: “I think my mom used to say that, lol.” We trust that she'll understand if we're not amused by anything that Michelle Duggar might say about children experiencing pain. “And,” she adds in a fainter note. “I need to shave lol.” “This video doesn't do it justice,” Jill admits. “Hurts so bad,” she expresses. Jill describes her injury: “And has a raised bump and turned blue/green right away.” Just because it's not visible on camera doesn't mean that it doesn't hurt. Speaking to the camera during the video, Jill admits that she hasn't been to Sam's in a while. She finds the carts “super tall,” which is pretty standard for a short person to say. But the bar underneath is what hit her shins. Gotta be honest, I've had this happen to me before, if not recently, and it is every bit as agonizing as Jill suggests. When a metal bar strikes your shin, it is almost directly hitting your bone. So what is the solution to this? Most shoppers simply have to adapt and learn that it is there as a hazard. But it sounds like Jill is hoping that maybe Sam's will change their carts. One solution would be to raise the bar just a few inches, which would vastly lower the odds of shin-strikes like the one that she experienced. By raising that bar, the person's legs would have to be that much closer to the cart in order to hit it. Injuries would go way down. It would also decrease the potential volume of the cart in terms of carrying groceries. A few inches can go a long way. Jill may of course face criticism for shopping at a chain notorious for union-busting and for allegedly being anti-worker. (Confession: though I've never been in a Sam's Club, I do order their toilet paper in bulk because it's the best! I apologize for my own weakness) But hopefully critics will considering Jill's injury to be, like, karma or at least a mitigating factor. Remember that not all communities have shopping options, and some entire towns rely upon Wal-Mart and Sam's for most of their shopping.
Many of us grew up on fairy tales that conclude with the commoner heroine marrying her prince and living happily ever after. Perhaps the story ends there because no one wants to see the princess spend the rest of her life in a fishbowl, forced to endure a constant barrage of lies and speculation, all the while prohibited from fighting back by the strictures of royal decorum. Of course, anyone who’s curious about the pains and frustrations of such an existence need only look at the life of Meghan Markle. When she first married Prince Harry , Meghan seemed to have it all. Sadly, in the year that followed, she experienced firsthand just how much vitriol the sight of a mixed-race royal brings out in many Britons — some of whom, shockingly, are members of the press. Obviously, Meghan has been black her whole life, and she dealt with racism in its many vile forms before she became a royal. But could anything have prepared her for hit pieces about how she ruined Harry’s life by marrying him and giving him a child? Is there any way she could have braced herself for the pearl-clutching that would ensue when some stodgy traditionalist declared that she failed to curtsy properly? The other royals may have done their best to caution Meg about the hard times ahead, but as they’ve never experienced such abuse themselves, they were ill-equipped to do so. For the most part, Meghan has endured this abuse with admirable restraint. But as much as the Windsors might stress the importance of a stiff-upper-lip, Meghan is only human, and she became noticeably emotional during a recent interview for an upcoming documentary about her travels in Africa: “Any woman, especially when they’re pregnant, you’re really vulnerable, and so that was made really challenging. And then when you have a newborn, you know,” she says gesturing to her interviewer. “And especially as a woman, it’s a lot… So you add this on top of just trying to be a new mom or trying to be a newlywed,” the Duchess of Sussex continues. “It’s um…yeah. I guess, also thank you for asking because not many people have asked if I’m okay, but it’s a very real thing to be going through behind the scenes.” Asked if she’s “not really okay” and whether she’s struggled in recent months, Meghan says, “Yes.” It’s uncommon for any public figure to speak so candidly about the pressures of motherhood and life in the public. For someone as visible as Meghan to do it is incredibly courageous. Hopefully, the British tabloid press will keep this in mind next time they decide to dogpile her for repeating an outfit. On Thursday night, tempers flared between two long-time Jersey Shore cast members. During filming of the latest episode? Yes. But also over social media during the airing of this latest episode. As the past two installments of this MTV franchise have shown, there is major tension between Jenni “JWoww” Farley and Angelina Pivarnick — and it all has to do with Zack Clayton Carpinello. This immature 24-year old got drunk and acted like a sexist buffoon several months ago, groping Angelina on the dance floor of a nightclub after JWoww (his girlfriend at the time!) passed out from alcohol intake. This wasted escapade was featured last week’s Jersey Shore episode. Then, last night , viewers witnessed the fallout of a sober JWoww waking up the day after this inappropriate action was taken… and being deceived by Carpinello in regard to what transpired. Zack placed the blame on Angelina and alleged that she tried to kiss him . In present day, after she watched the episode a few days ago and saw what actually went down between her then-boyfriend and veteran co-star, Farley broke up with Carpinello , writing at the time: “For 5 months I was kept in the dark about this. For 5 months I was naive, probably laughed at and made into a story line that will forever haunt me. “My heart hurts on so many levels. “One thing I learned from tonight’s episode is know your value. Don’t ever lower your standards.” Despite mostly blaming Zack for initating the flirting with Angelina, however, JWoww also had some harsh words yesterday for Pivarnick. Live-Tweeting the episode, Farley posted the following online after witnessing Angelina knocking on her bedroom door and joking about having sex with both her and Carpinello: “Grinding on someone’s man? Asking for a 3 some? Kissing someone else’s BF? That’s a blatant disregard of boundaries.” Pivarnick, for her part, insisted she was just being playful. “When I asked about a three some everyone knew it was a joke,” she wrote back, adding: “I even knocked on their door and was laughing … I never had a three some in my life and I sure as hell wouldn’t want one at 33 years old.” Farley wasn’t having it, though. “Oh ok that makes sense,” she replied. “Glad what you did was a joke, and u grinding on him was a joke… and u kissing him was a joke… BUT when he joked back, you made it seem like he was a creep and destroyed him in interview. Got it. Makes total sense now.” Jenni’s beef with Angelina here seems to be less how she acted with Zack and more how she talked about him afterward. That is: Angelina was joking and flirting right back during the night in question… but then later made it sound like Zach was totally in the wrong and acting against her will. “Both are idiots but they instigated each other,” Farley told a fan about Zack and Angelina, explaining: “Only difference is Angelina gets to talk about it on the show… like if you were that uncomfortable tell me.. don’t tell others and text me how much fun it was.” Again, it’s worth remembering that all the actions here actually transpired a long time ago. Jenni and Angelina are just giving us their thoughts on what happened now, as the episodes play out on TV. And Zack is doing the same. “I made mistakes that I cannot take back, which I take full responsibility for. … I sincerely apologize to Jenni. I apologize to Angelina as well,” he wrote last week on Instagram .
Earlier this week, actress Felicity Huffman reported to prison to begin serving a 14-day sentence. As you probably know, Huffman is one of the famous faces of the college admissions bribery scandal . And while she’s the first celebrity to get locked up for the bribes she doled out in order to ensure her daughter a place in the school of her choice, she almost certainly won’t be the last. After all, Huffman accepted a plea deal and prosecutors still made an example of her. (Sure it was the lightest slap on the wrist imaginable, but they imprisoned a rich, well-connected white woman in America, which is no easy feat.) Conversely, actress Lori Loughlin refused a plea deal and is planning to take her chances in court. And we think it’s safe to say she’s beginning to have second thoughts after seeing what became of Huffman. Insiders Loughlin still believes she’ll be able to avoid doing time, but is now contemplating the possibility for the first time. According to a new report from People magazine, Loughlin attempted to reach out to Huffman recently in order to get a read on how the actress was feeling about her upcoming sentence. Not surprisingly, it seems Huffman didn’t feel up to having a chat: “She wanted to encourage her, and see how she was doing,” a source close to the situation tells People. “She feels like their fates are tied together now, even though they weren’t really friends before.” Sounds like Huffman just wants this whole ordeal to be over with and has no interest in commiserating with her co-conspirators. But like it or not, it seems she’ll be getting another call from Aunt Becky shortly after her release: “She wants to debrief Felicity after jail to find out what it was like and what her advice would be,” says the insider. “She feels like Felicity’s time in jail will be an indicator on her own time, and she’s extremely curious to know how it goes.” Not surprisingly, Loughlin is hoping Huffman will reassure her that life on the inside isn’t all that bad: “She’s definitely hoping that Felicity’s time in prison will go easy for her, because that will be a positive sign that, if Lori has to serve time, that she’ll be able to weather it as well,” the source says. “Of course, it’s still very important for her to be exonerated of all charges against her,” the insider continues. “She still maintains her innocence and hopes it won’t come to that. But if she does end up serving time in prison, she wants to know what she’s getting into.” Lori might still be holding out hope that the judge will go easy on her, but that seems increasingly unlikely. While her trial date has not yet been set, it looks as though Loughlin will be going from Full House to the big house sometime in early 2020.
