Scary news from America’s most famous family today. Kylie Jenner revealed this afternoon that she was rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment on Sunday night. Kylie was scheduled to appear on stage at 2019 Emmys , but was forced to skip the ceremony due to illness. Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner presented the award for Outstanding Reality Competition, and it seems they were supposed to be joined by Kylie. Instead, they were forced to put on brave faces as their youngest sister was being treated for severe flu-like symptoms. Like her sisters, Kylie is thoroughly committed to her career as a public figure. So it’s unlikely that she would have missed the awards for any mild discomfort. Adding to the concern among fans is the fact that Kylie will miss Paris Fashion Week, where she was scheduled to appear at a promotional event for her wildly popular cosmetics line . “Hi guys! So as you know, I was getting ready to go to Paris for the Balmain show at Paris Fashion Week for the launch of my makeup collab with Olivier,” Kylie wrote on Instagram Wednesday afternoon. “Unfortunately I’m really sick and unable to travel,” Jenner continued. “I’m heartbroken to be missing this show, but I know that my amazing team, and my friends who are in town for the event, will help me be there in spirit.” A source tells Radar Online that Kylie is currently at an LA hospital where she is receiving “top-notch treatment.” Her father, Caitlyn Jenner, has reportedly been by her side throughout her ordeal. Also lending support is Scott Disick’s girlfriend, Sofia Richie, who has become an increasingly important figure in Kylie’s life in recent months. “Sofia really helped Kylie through the emotional roller coaster during the Jordyn [Woods] situation,” says Radar’s source. “She was really there for her and took her side through everything. The situation with Jordyn made them closer.” Not surprisingly, the situation has led to a number of alarmist rumors with many claiming Kylie is pregnant again , while others insist she’s seriously ill. Fortunately for the Kar-Jenner clan — and unfortunately for tabloid headline writers — Kylie is on the mend and expected to make a fully recovery very soon. We wish her all the best.
