Meghan Markle Shares Birthday Tribute to Prince Harry (And a New Photo of Little Archie!)

Prince Harry celebrated a pair of milestones on Sunday: 1. His 35th birthday. 2. His very first birthday as a father. And beloved/beautiful/polarizing wife Meghan Markle was right there to shower her husband with figurative kisses in one of the sweetest tributes you’ll read this month. “Wishing a very happy birthday to His Royal Highness Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex!” opened a caption to the photo above, which was posted @sussexroyal Instagram account. In the very bottom right of this collage, among many other personal and candid photos of Harry, we get a glimpse at a brand new snapshot of him, Markle and their son, Archie. The new image depitcs a doting Harry crouching down to look at his child, who is on mom Meghan’s lap, during a special celebration back in the summer. Elsewhere in the photograph collection? A few childhood pics of Harry, including one him as a baby with his late mother Princess Diana. Also one of Harry as a small boy with brother Prince William. There’s also a gorgeous picture of of the Duke and Duchess kissing at their 2018 wedding. And, finally, pics of Harry in his military uniforms and meeting people on his Royal tours. Wrote Markle herself as a message to Harry: Your service to the causes you care so deeply for inspires me every day. You are the best husband and most amazing dad to our son. We love you. Happiest birthday! Next week, Meghan and Harry are scheduled to travel with young Archie to South Africa for what will mark the child’s first Royal tour. It ought to garner the family a great deal of attention, but today belongs to Harry, not his precious offspring. “Wishing a very happy birthday to The Duke of Sussex today!” read a message on the Instagram page of Kensington Palace, which represents the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, alongside a photo of the brothers dressed in military uniforms and smiling at one another. Perhaps this caption will put to rest rumors  of a feud between Harry and William . But probably not, knowing the media and all those supermarket tabloids, you know? Harry’s father Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall also sent their best to the birthday boy today, as did The Royal Family Instagram account, which represents Queen Elizabeth and other members of the family. “Wishing a very Happy Birthday to The Duke of Sussex, who turns 35 today!” Charles and Camilla’s post read. “Happy Birthday to The Duke of Sussex – 35 today! #HappyBirthdayHRH” the Queen’s post read. Harry and Meghan got married in May of 2018 and welcomed their son into the world in May of 2019. We join all these others in sending our best birthday wishes to his adoring dad. Andrew Glennon: Amber Portwood Threatened to KILL Our Son — TWICE!

For the past few months, a lot of bad, bad things have been coming out about Amber Portwood. It all started when she was arrested for allegedly chasing Andrew Glennon and their one-year-old son with a machete, and somehow it went downhill from there. That's how bad she's looking right now — that there's a downhill from a machete chase. We've heard recordings of Amber abusing Andrew, we've heard lots of comments from Andrew himself, and now, Andrew is sharing one more bit of information. And it may be the most horrifying one of all. 1. Here We Go Again On the evening of July 4th and going into the morning of July 5th, Amber Portwood went in a rampage that involved beating Andrew Glennon with a shoe so hard that she bruised him and that finished with an alleged machete chase. 2. Facts Why do we even live in a reality in which a nightmare like that actually happened? Because Amber is and has always been very abusive to the men in her life. 3. Throwback Her habit of assaulting Gary Shirley when they were together helped send her to prison a few years back, and there’s a chance this new disaster might send her back — she’s been charged with three felonies because of what happened that night. 4. Sorry And from everything we’ve been hearing about her lately, she may deserve it. 5. A Recap So, OK, we have the story from the night of her arrest — she admitted to beating Andrew with a shoe, and although she acted like it wasn’t a big deal, police have photos of the bruises and scratches on him from this. She has, however, denied going after him with a machete while their one-year-old son, James, was in his arms. 6. And Yet But one of her felony charges is for criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, Andrew said that after he ran into another room she started hacking at the door, and police do have photos from inside the house as evidence, so … it would seem that the machete was involved at least a little bit. Syracuse University Names Scholarship After Exonerated Five’s Kevin Richardson

W hile coming of age in Harlem, Kevin Richardson dreamt of taking his passions for music and basketball to Syracuse University. His plan to further his education at the school would come to a halt in 1989 when the then 14-year-old was wrongfully convicted of rape along with four other Black and Latino teens who were labeled as the Central Park Five. It’s been 17 years since the men were exonerated, and the institution is honoring Richardson in a special way. According to WRVO , the university recently created a scholarship named after him. Kevin Richardson is one of the five black and Hispanic men falsely accused of rape in 1989 — also known as the Central Park Five. Sunday, Richardson’s dream to attend Syracuse University was honored: https://t.co/T41PBkLnSp — Spectrum News 13 (@MyNews13) September 9, 2019 Richardson was celebrated at a benefit reception hosted by the school’s Office of Multicultural Advancement where the scholarship was unveiled. The fund—which is a part of the school’s Our Time Has Come Scholarship program—will financially support Black and Latinx students attending Syracuse. According to the university, 1,300 students have been served through the initiative. Richardson—whose harrowing experience motivated him to become a criminal justice reform advocate—is humbled by the university’s decision to name a scholarship after him. “Just for people who look like me – people of color – to be helped and have a scholarship connected to my name, to help out individuals to move on further, which I didn’t get a chance to, to actually pay it forward to others – that is the best thing that can happen,” Richardson told the news outlet. “If I’m not around tomorrow, at least my legacy will continue on.” Aside from the scholarship fund, students are pushing to have Richardson honored by the university in other ways. According to the Daily Orange Jalen Nash —a political science major at the school—launched an online petition asking Syracuse to award Richardson with an honorary degree. So far, the petition has garnered over 5,000 signatures. “While this dream could never be fulfilled due to circumstance, it is never too late to do the right thing,” Nash told ABC News . Remember when Amber Portwood got out of prison and everyone thought there was a chance that she'd changed and was going to turn her life around? Boy, she proved that wrong, huh? Things got very, very bad with Matt Baier, who she started dating a few minutes after she got out of prison, but her relationship with Andrew Glennon? Well, we keep getting more and more proof about what a disaster that really was. It looks like Amber never changed her awful, abusive ways … and now, according to a new report from The Ashley's Reality Roundup, she might lose her job over it. 1. What a Summer Amber’s whole entire life has been falling apart for the past few months, but it’s really pretty much 100% her own fault. 2. Truth And that’s because she’s an abusive, nasty person. 3. Memories We saw this when she was with Gary back in the day on Teen Mom — she punched him, grabbed at him, once she kicked him in the back while he was walking down some stairs. 4. Consequences Domestic violence was a big part of why she went to prison — she was charged with felony domestic violence for what happened with Gary, placed on probation, had some drug charges a little later, violated probation … just a lot of bad things, but the abuse was definitely part of it. 5. Hmm … History does seem to repeat itself, huh? 6. Oh, Matt Her next serious relationship after Gary was with Matt Baier, who she met online after being released from prison. Just because you go on a reality TV show to find love, it doesn't mean you will.  The Bachelor and its many spinoffs have been on the air for over seventeen years. It may have seemed like these Bachelor Nation stars found love on one of the ABC shows, but they're with someone different today.  Have a look below.  1. DeAnna Pappas DeAnna got engaged to Jesse Csincsak on The Bachelorette Season 4, but their relationship did not stand the test of time. Pappas went on to marry Stephen Stagliano in 2012. They welcomed a daughter Addison in 2014 and a son Austin in 2016. 2. Ali Fedotowsky When The Bachelorette Season 6 wrapped, Ali seemed loved up with Roberto Martinez, but the engagement came to a halt in 2011. She subsequently got close to Kevin Manno, the same man she married in 2017. They have two children together! 3. Bob Guiney We forgot all about this dude, but here we go: He and Estella Gardinier, Bob’s final pick from The Bachelor Season 4 split up. He got married to Rebecca Budig in the aftermath, but they split up after six years of marriage. But he followed that one up with Jessica Canyon. They’re married and have a son! 4. Byron Velvick Byron called off his engagement to Mary Delgado in 2009 but got married to Belinda Velvick in 2015. They have one daughter. 5. Jillian Harris Harris was got engaged to Ed Swiderski on Season 5 of The Bachelorette. It didn’t work out. Years later, Harris announced her engagement to Justin Pasutto in 2016. They’re now married and have two kids. 6. Juan Pablo Galavis Things quickly went south between Galavis and Nikki Ferrell — the final rose recipient of The Bachelor Season 18. Amy Roloff Shares New Wedding Pics, Proves Major Point

Amy Roloff 1, Internet Trolls 0. The Little People, Big World star has taken to Instagram in order to share a new set of photos from her son’s recent wedding — and she may have done so with harmless intentions. But she may also have done so as a subtle clapback against some critics. Jacob, as a reminder, got married to Isabel Rock on Saturday, September 7. The two exchanged vows on a beach in Oregon and then celebrated the occasion with a reception at Roloff Farms. Who was on hand for this party? Everyone you might expect, from Jacob’s parents to all his siblings to his father’s very serious girlfriend,  Caryn Chandler. HOWEVER, upon perusing all the photos released online by various family members, some observers were left with a pressing question: Where was Chris Marek ? Amy didn’t include her significant other in any picture or reference him in any caption and it prompted concern from a handful of her followers. Thankfully, though, she has silence those concerns with these brand new (and beautiful!) snapshots. “Just a few more photos from the celebrating the love of Jacob and Isabel from their wedding,” wrote the reality star as a caption to the above and below images. She added: “I’m so blessed. It was a beautiful wonderful day a beginning of a life long journey together.” As you can see, Amy never addresses the so-called controversey over Marek’s alleged absence, and it’s possible she was never even aware it existed. But it’s also possible she figured she’d shut these doubters up with basic photographic evidence of Marek’s inclusion in the celebration and leave it at that. Chris and Amy have been together for years and have often had to respond to engagement questions surrounding their relationship. It doesn’t sound as if they’ll be walking down the aisle any time soon, with Amy still reeling a bit from her divorce to Matt Roloff after almost 27 years of marriage. She’s obviously over it, of course, but simply isn’t anxious to be a wife once again. What’s the rush, right? If she and Chris are happy as they are? Jacob and Isabel, for their part, are also quite happy. That much is evident. He’s normally pretty camera or media shy, but he has posted the following now on Instagram: The past 4 days have been completely filled with love and family… September 5th on the cliffs of Neakahnie I married my love, @isabelsofiarock… The 6th we soaked it in on the coast and headed back to the farm to get ready for our reception on the 7th. Just perfect… I could write a long post I’m sure, but I just love so much this lady of mine, my WIFE, and this video will say a lot by itself. I’m still treasuring the freshness of it all. Shane Gillis, New SNL Star, Offers Lame Apology for Very Racist Video

Shane Gillis is a brand new cast member on SNL. But just days after this announcement went viral, folks around the Internet are now looking at some of the comedian’s past work and asking: WHAT THE HELL?!? Not long after Gillis was confirmed as one of three new faces on Saturday Night Live Season 45 (along with Chloe Fineman and Bowen Yang), a video resurfaced of the rising engaging in racist rhetoric. “Chinatown’s f-ckin nuts,” Gillis says in a clip from a September 2018 posted to a YouTube channel called Matt and Shane’s Secret Podcast began to circulate online. “Let the f-ckin ch-nks live there,” he adds. Gillis then goes on to toss out insults when talking about eating at Chinese restaurants, complaining about such experiences as follows: “The translation between you and the waiter is such a f–king hassle,” he tells fellow comedian Matt McCusker, doing a Chinese accent. “I’m pointing at it.” The footage immediately outraged SNL viewers and social media users overall, with many of them calling for him to be fired before he even appeared on an episode. “Bigotry and racism is unacceptable. Fire Shane Gillis,” one user wrote on Twitter. “It’s not just that one video,” another user explained. “New #SNL hire Shane Gillis has made a lot of ‘problematic’ comments and jokes over the past years. Will the show cancel him before he stars?” So far, that answer is no. We haven’t heard anything from anyone associated with the long-running sketch show. But the backlash eventually prompted Gillis to address the issue on Twitter. “I’m a comedian who pushes boundaries,” he wrote on Twitter, as you can see above. He  added: “I sometimes miss. If you go through my 10 years of comedy, most of it bad, you’re going to find a lot of bad misses. I’m happy to apologize to anyone who’s actually offended by anything I’ve said.” Not exactly a heartfelt mea culpa, huh? Why is it that comedians think they are part of the one profession that is allowed to be offensive and cruel, simply because they’re trying to be funny? Just be funny without being racist. It isn’t that difficult. Gillis and the other  additions came after Leslie Jones confirmed her departure on Twitter. “Thank you for all the love and support through my SNL years and I know you will be as excited as I am when you see some of the amazing projects and adventures that I have coming up very soon!” she told fans in a lengthy statement on September 3. “Love you all!!” Jones later added: “I will miss working, creating and laughing with you. “I will miss holding it down with Kenan [Thompson] everyday, I will miss [Cecily Strong’s] impression of me making me laugh at myself often, I will miss [Kate McKinnon’s] loving hugs and talks when I needed. “And of course, Colin [Jost], you porcelain-skinned Ken doll. I will miss all my cast mates!! “Especially being at the table reads with them!! Everyone needs to know Leslie Jones couldn’t have done any of the things I did without these people.” Saturday Night Live premieres on NBC Saturday, September 28, at 11:30 p.m. EST.

June Shannon Has Been Indicted For Federal Drug Possession

For the last several weeks, we’ve been documenting the many ways in which June Shannon is in trouble with her family. But these issues between loves ones suddenly seem harmless and unimportant. Because June Shannon is now in serious trouble with the law. The long-time reality star — who rose to fame as the mother of a child beauty pageant contestant on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo and who now anchors her very own series, Mama June: From Not to Hot — has been indicted on a charge of felony drug possession. Said charge stems from a March arrest during which time cops in Alabama said Shannon had on her person both crack cocaine and a glass pipe. She was caught in a gas station parking lot at that time, arguing loudly with terrible boyfriend Geno Doak. He was also arrested back then for drug charges and domestic violence and both he and Shannon have now also been hit with a misdemeanor charge for paraphernalia. According to TMZ, Mama June was not at the Alabama courthouse Friday for this indictment. However, in a strange twist (although perhaps not to strange, given this family’s history), her sister was there with a camera crew, hoping to stage some sort of intervention. This would have been the second intervention relatives held for June in the past few months, as they previously tried to convince her to leave Doak and focus on her children’s well-being. Alas, June has seemingly chosen Geno over daughters Alana and Lauryn. The former is currently residing with the latter and has said she won’t return home until her mother leaves Geno. On September  1, Alana posted a selfie on Instagram and as a caption she wrote: “It’s ok not to be ok sometimes it’s hard to follow your heart doesn’t mean you losing everybody bruising.” Fans of the young star took to the comments and began to share their love and support for her during this challenging time in her family’s life. More recently, various sources have reported that Shannon is selling everything she can just to make ends meet and won’t even have anywhere to live in the near future. She plans to just ride around in an RV with Doak and, we presume, at least try not to ger arrested again. It’s all rather tragic when you remember there is at least one young kid involved here. As for this latest, significant legal situation? Shannon is due to be in court for a hearing later this month. She has not yet commented on the indictment nor has WEtv yet canceled her reality show. But the network really would be well-served to distance itself from this troubled start as quickly as possible and in as strong terms as it possibly can. We’re thinking of you, Alana.
