Saddest bit is that the girl is legit talented and truly only being allowed to shine so long as she allows herself to be this millennial mammy of sorts.” She proceeded to also throw other artists under the bus and if we are reading this right puts herself in the same light as Beyoncé. “Like illiterate Cardi then fat Lizzo. Back in May, Meghan Markle welcomed her first child . But because she lives in a civilized nation where you can stop off for some bangers and mash without fear of some dodgy wanker blowing your bonce off, Meghan was able to take a full four months of maternity leave. She probably could’ve taken even longer if she had wanted, but the temptation to burst through the double doors of her office and strike fear into the hearts of her staff by declaring, “The Duchess is back!” was probably too powerful to resist. We kid, of course. The real reason that Meg came back is that she famously loves her work. Obviously, her philanthropic efforts are her main professional focus these days, and she’s found a way to incorporate her skills as an artist and businesswomen into her calling as a humanitarian. And so, Meghan is set to launch two exciting projects in as many weeks. The first is that is a travel initiative called Travalyst that Meghan is launching in cooperation with Prince Harry. The project is designed to help shift the travel industry toward more environmentally-friendly practices. It was likely inspired by the recent controversy over Meghan and Harry’s decision to take a private jet to Elton John’s estate in the South of France. But hey, regardless of what prompted the move, at least it’s happening. The second project that’s got Meg’s attention these days is a line of workwear for women that will benefit her Smart Works patronage, which aims to find jobs for women who are struggling financially. All pretty great stuff. Hard to imagine that anyone could find any fault with Meg this week, right? Ha! We kid — the British tabloid press is a well-oiled controversy-generating machine, and they’ve kept their Meg-hating streak going this week by claiming that the Duchess of Sussex snubbed the Queen by not visiting Balmoral as planned last weekend. “Harry and Meghan had no plans to go to Balmoral this summer as they felt Archie was too young,” a source close to the situation tells The Sun. “It’s a bit odd, as his age didn’t stop them taking him to Ibiza for a week and then to see Elton John in France,” the insider adds. “If they want privacy or protection — which was Harry’s excuse for taking private jets — there is no more protected or private holiday destination than the Queen’s Scottish home.” The insider goes on to perpetuate the notion that Meghan is too much of a woke hippie to hang witht the rough-and-tumble Royals: “It’s all very hunting, shooting, fishing up at Balmoral, so maybe that put Meghan off,” says the source. “She has never been to Balmoral and the Queen was disappointed they’re not going.” Yes, we’re sure Meg was kept away by the pheasant hunting, and not the fact that she has a 4-month-old baby at home and 18 business ventures in the works. Tragic news out of the world of country music. Kylie Rae Harris, a popular artist in this industry, died from injuries she sustained in a car accident on Wednesday, September 4. She was 30 years old. The fatal crash took place in New Mexic, with Taos county dispatch confirming to E! News and other outlets that the incident occurred on State road 522 and that there was two fatalities: A 16-year-old girl and 30-year-old woman. The awful news was subsequently confirmed by Harris’ publicist, who issued the following statement: We are heartbroken to confirm that Kylie Rae Harris passed away in a car accident last night. We have no further details to share, and ask for privacy for her family at this time. Everyone that knew Kylie knew how much she loved her family and, beyond that, how much she loved music. The best tribute to her unmatched enthusiasm for both is to spread as much love as you can today, and listen to music that fully inspires you. The singer, who leaves behind a six-year old daughter, actially Tweeted shortly before she died that she was low on gas at one point during her journey. “Fuel range is 46 miles and I’m 36 from the nearest gas station. Dear baby Jesus please don’t let me get stranded in NM,” she wrote. Her Instagram Story echoed a similar sentiment: “Current Sitch: Iffy.” A boomerang video showed she had “low fuel range,” with the red needle almost past empty. In another series of social media videos, the late artist explained why she was making this trek in the first place. She emotionally remember sitting in the backseat as a child as her dad, who’s now deceased, drove her down the very same road on which she ended up passing away. “Alright, I look a mess,” she said, adding: “It’s ’cause I’ve been crying! It’s okay though. It’s a good cry. “I just got to Taos, New Mexico, and I’m playing this festival here called the Big Barn Dance. I love this festival.” “But for those of you who don’t know,” she continued… “I spent the last 20 years of my life coming to Taos with my dad and my sister. “My grandparents lived here, my uncle still lives here. But basically, literally everybody that was here has passed away, except for my uncle, and including my dad.” Pretty eerie, huh? Harris released her self-titled EP in March. She previously told Billboard that the track “Twenty Years From Now” was inspired by her daughter, Corbie. “It scared me thinking that it was totally possible I could be gone before my daughter reaches that point,” she said this spring. “I want to meet my kid’s kids. Getting to the age your parents were when you were a child brings a whole lot of perspective.” Country star Maren Morris paid tribute to the Harris shortly after learning she had died, writing on her Instagram Story: Damn. We probably don’t need to tell you that many, many things are banned in the Duggar family. Next thing we knew Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard were taking their kids to see Toy Story 4 , which — if we recall — doesn’t have a single crucifixion scene in it. Now, JB’s worst nightmare has come to life, as Derick has expressed a fondness for the hippity-hop. D-Dilly posted the above photo this week, along with the following caption: “I love it when they call me big papa… ha love hangin with these two, even if it might not always seem the most productive. “It’ll pay off in the end. I love them and how inquisitive they always are about the world around them.” Again, incredibly innocuous — until you consider the fact that Derick’s opening line is a reference to a song by the Notorious B.I.G., a man who is literally the exact opposite of Jim Bob Duggar. Believe it or not, this isn’t the first time that a member of the whitest, most rural family on the planet has expressed an affection for a genre of music that was born in black urban communities. Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 17 kicks off on Sunday, September 8 and you won't believe this, but… … it looks like there's some major controversy ahead! For starters, as evidenced by the photo below, new episodes will at least partly focus on Kim Kardashian's trip to the White House, which really did take place. Tristan's here,” Kim is heard saying, as she and Malika Haqq stare disapprovingly around. “No, I'm done,” Khloe says, walking away, after having previously said her life is “filled with drama.” Later in this revealing preview, Kim says experiences a pretty serious health scare. She says she feels it in her bones that she has lupus. We then quickly see doctors running some numerous tests as Kris Jenner comforts her concerned daughter. “Let's stay positive until we get some results,” she tells Kim. (As is always the case with this show and this family, of course, these episodes were filmed months ago, meaning we'd know by now if Kim actually had been diagnosed with lupus. Certainly takes away some of the suspense, huh?) This extended Season 17 preview also shows fans a glimpse of an intense blowup between Kris' longtime boyfriend and the father of Kourtney Kardashian's kids. Yes, Corey Gamble and Scott Disick randomly go at it. “Get the f-ck out of here!” Scott shouts across the table at an angry Corey, who fires back: “I'm not retracting a f-cking word I said! I said what the f-ck I said!” Finally, we get to the most hilarious aspect of this trailer: Kris once again bringing up her alleged affair with OJ Simpson. For those unaware. her late ex-husband was an attorney and a good friend of the former NFL running back and likely double murderer. For those who don’t know, Andrea Kelly is a very skilled dancer. It’s how she met R. Kelly before the two ultimately married and had three children. I don’t have to tell you that Buku’s father, singer R. Kelly is in the midst of yet another legal battle. He’s currently imprisoned on charges of child pornography, including videos of himself having sex with underage girls. SEE ALSO: R. She spoke to the Associated Press about her journey. Abi, who was born JoAnn Kelly, claimed that she had seen the hellish part of the game and wanted no parts. But she couldn’t leave music alone. In the midst of everything she’s gone through, music has been a solace. And when your father’s R. Kelly, things can get rough. Abi explained when her father’s “sins” started seeping into her own life. “At home it’s normal, you’re living a life with your parents; your dad and mom aren’t going to go into all the bad things that might be going on outside of home,” she said, “but kids in school don’t necessarily care. Fifth and sixth grade is when I started learning the sore part of it, the not so good part. I think that was the hardest part for me because for so long I went with this image of who my dad (was) and what my family (was).” When her classmates started telling her stories about her own father, Abi said there were times when she considered suicide. The two collaborated on a song called “Wanna Be There.” It appeared on Kelly’s 2015 album The Buffet. “At that time I was in a place where I was genuinely trying to have a relationship with my father. But it was so complicated at that time, as it always is. It was a great experience, I’m glad that I did it, but it just wasn’t like what everybody assumed, and that’s the part that sucks. It wasn’t this big kumbaya moment.” If it didn’t happen then, the likelihood of it happening now with R. Kelly being in jail as he awaits his trial in April is unlikely. The former “The Game” star took to Instagram to share how he grappled with betrayal and trauma after his friend’s father molested him at 14. “I’m Hosea chanchez and when I was 14 years old I was molested BY my friends father. This man is a predator, preying on children who’s trust he’s falsely built through lies, manipulation, threats and secrets,” he wrote on a caption, with a photo of himself as a young boy accompanying the message. The now 37-year-old also said that the predator used the fact that he was raised by a single mom to fill the space of masculine authority that was lacking in his upbringing. “He knew my father wasn’t in my life and my mother was a single mom, so he would always tell me I was like his other son,” he bravely revealed. One day the molester leveraged that trust to assault him in the car and threatened to ruin his life if he told. It's been over two years since Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth married in the sort of lavish, massively-attended ceremony for which their family has become known. And it seems as though the young couple has been enjoying a life of quiet domestic bliss ever since. Though Joy recently suffered a miscarriage , insiders say Austin has been a tremendous source of support. The 25-year-old is making a way for himself in one of the few career fields Jim Bob approves of (real estate). But there's reason to believe that when they first met, Joy and Austin were not so thrilled with the idea of exchanging vows. In fact, many fans believe that Joy was forced to marry Austin by heir overbearing fathers. Here's everything we know about the situation – and Austin's surprisingly controversial father – so far: 1. The Not-So-Happy Couple? Joy and Austin’s wedding looked just like every other Duggar ceremony. But one major difference may have been the fact that the couple wasn’t at the altar by choice, 2. Two stars on Bringing Up Bates would like to bring something to your attention: They’re expecting a baby together! Isn’t that right, Carlin Bates and Evan Stewart?!? “We are beyond thrilled to be expecting our first child,” Carlin herself told Romper yesterday, adding in further detail and excitement: “Spending everyday with your best friend and building a life together has already exceeded our happiest dreams. We are so happy at the thought of parenting together. “Three at the table sounds perfect! God is so good.” Bates is due in February 2020. This means that she’s about three months along and she and Evan got married about three months ago, so either they procreated on their wedding night… … or the nuptials may have been inspired by some pre-marital sex. Shotgun! Bang! We went there, people. Added Carlin when breaking the news on Instagram: “This past year has been a whirlwind of excitement and love, from wedding planning, to the most magical day of my life when I said ‘I do,’ and just when I think life can’t get crazier, busier, or happier, I find out I’m pregnant! “I feel so grateful and in awe of the miracle of a tiny life growing inside of me! I can’t imagine that my life could be any more blessed!” Bates is only 21 years old and, considering she has 18 siblings and was basically raised in a cult, this is likely the first of many pregnancies. She sounds both psyched and sort of overwhelmed by that fact. “Even though I’m very early into my pregnancy, I already look at my mom and wonder, ‘How did you do this 19 times?” she said. “Yet, she acted as if each pregnancy was a gift and a privilege, and that’s exactly the sentiment I want to have. “She made us all feel special and loved and more than anything, Evan and I want to be the kind of parents that invest in our child’s life in such a way that they know what a treasure they are to us!” As for Stewart? “I have read so many sweet comments, received texts, and felt so much love from you all,” he wrote on Instagram, adding: “We are overwhelmed and thankful to God for this precious gift! ! I can’t wait to meet you, baby Stewart. You are already so loved.” Carlin is known both for appearing on Bringing Up Bates and also for being very close to Joy Duggar , who responded to this incredible news by exclaiming the following: Yayyy! SOOOOO happy . Back when Joy suffered her miscarriage this year , Carlin responded with words of sorrow and sympathy on Instagram. “I wish there were words to express how broken hearted I am for my best friend,” she wrote at the time, concluding: “Seeing her give birth to her little girl, Annabell Elise, and knowing that she would never be able to hold her again while on earth just brings tears to my eyes. “Yet, through it all, she has been so strong and held on to Jesus, knowing that we will see her little baby in heaven one day. “I know that Jesus doesn’t promise that we will not face difficulties in this life, but He does promise to be by our side every step of the way. “I’m so grateful to have a friend as precious as Joy, and I know that she would covet prayers at this hard time.” We send our very best to Carlin Bates and Evan Stewart.
