Black Twitter Has Thoughts About Forever 21 Potentially Filing For Bankruptcy

While many fashionistas loved browsing the racks at Forever 21 , we’re afraid that the retail giant may have to take a loss and file for bankruptcy. What does this mean for fans of the brand you may ask? Many locations may have to close their doors! According to Bloomberg , the company has been working tirelessly to avoid bankruptcy. “The company has been in talks for additional financing and working with a team of advisers to help it restructure its debt, but negotiations with possible lenders have so far stalled,” Bloomberg reports. “Focus has thus shifted toward securing a potential debtor-in-possession loan to take the company into Chapter 11, they said, even as some window remains to strike a last-minute deal that keeps it out of court.” Naturally, a bankruptcy filing would give the retailer a little bit of room to close down underperforming stores and help rebuild the business. However, this move may affect some of the biggest mall management companies. Bloomberg reports that if Forever 21 closes a significant number of stores, landlords such as Simon Property Group and Brookfield Property Partners (two of the largest mall owners in the country) may have trouble filling the vacancies. Most people blame fast fashion brands such as Fashion Nova and Pretty Little Thing for the decline of many stores. Some people also blame the fact that the brand has stolen images of hip hop stars and have even been accused of sending of diet bars with plus size orders as the culprit for its demise. While this all may be true, we can’t deny that consumer shopping habits change like the wind. In order for retail locations to stay ahead of the game, they must provide shoppers with what they need. While there is no word on the retailer closing any of its 800+ locations in Asia, Europe, Latin America and the U.S. at the moment, it hasn’t stopped shoppers from anticipating the inevitable. This move is definitely troubling for business, but Forever 21 shoppers are green with delight! The possibility of stores closing means one thing- closeout sales! Kevin Federline Accuses Jamie Spears of Child Abuse

… and, just like that, Britney Spears’ new hair color doesn’t seem like a very big deal any longer. Not after multiple outlets have confirmed Kevin Federline recently accused his former father-in-law of child abuse. The former professional dancer — who was married to Spears for two years and who shares kids Sean Federline, 13, and Jayden James Federline, 12 — with the global superstar, has filed an official police report  against Jaime Spears. In documents obtained by The Blast, it has been reported that Kevin filed said report on August 25, the day after an alleged physical altercation between Jamie and his and Britney’s oldest son, Sean. This incident supposedly went down at Jamie’s home in Ventura County while he was watching his grandkids. According to TMZ insiders, an altercation between Jamie and Sean turned physical at one point… with Mr. Spears putting his hands on his grandson in violent fashion. It was not by accident, either, these same insiders explain. TMZ writes that Jamie broke down a door to get to his grandson and grabbed him once he was in the room. It’s unclear at this time exactly what precipated to confrontation — not that it matters, of course. The action described above is wildly inappropriate and likely illegal, if the report is true. Sources close to the investigation tell TMZ that there were no visible bruises or injuries to the 13-year old. Nevertheless, this incident was severe enough to Federline that he reported it the next to day to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department. While we await further details, we can at least report investigators have already interviewed witnesses and turned over their findings to the District Attorney’s Office. The district attorney is the person who will now determine if there’s enough evidence against Jamie Spears to file charges. Spears and Federline stunned the world when they exchanged vows in 2004; they took fans by less surprise in 2006 when they filed for divorce. This police report filing comes just days after Federline and Spears formalized a custody agreement in which Kevin will have custody of their two sons 70 percent of the time. This has been the general arrangement for about a year, but it is now legal. Prior to this set-up, Kevin and Britney — who have been on very solid terms for many years — shared custody of their kids equally. UPDATE : As you could have guessed, this alleged altercation between Jamie and Sean took place during Britney’s allotted time with the children. We cannot say for certain where she was at the time, but she allegedly took Sean and Jayden away from their grandfather at one point and brought them back to her home.  Federline was called later to pick them up and the boys stayed the evening of August 24 with their father. If Jamie is charged, the crime will more than likely be considered a misdemeanor. Jamie has served as the conservator of his daughter’s estate for nearly a decade. He has often had a turbulent relationship with Federline, especially of late. Earlier this year, Jamie and Kevin went at it in court over an increase in child support for the former DJ as he took over the majority of custody while Britney dealt with mental health issues. Miley Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter: Living Together With Zero Regrets!

After seeing Miley Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter pile on the PDA at the 2019 VMAs, the world knew that they were still going strong. But what looks like a rebound fling between friends could easily fall apart, right? According to this report, Miley and Kaitlynn don’t have any regrets about their breakups or about getting together. They’ve even moved in together. People spoke to an inside source close to Miley Cyrus to ask about her ongoing relationship with Kaitlynn Carter. “They live together and are very happy,” the insider affirms about Miley and Kaitlynn. The source went on to reveal that “Miley is doing great.” Yes, her relationship with Liam Hemsworth lasted for over a decade, but that’s not holding her back from finding her happiness. “She is moving on,” the insider reports. Miley’s marriage came to an end with a public divorce and then she got into a very public relationship with Kaitlynn. “She seems to have no regrets,” the source assesses. That is wonderful to hear. According to the insider: “She loves being with Kaitlynn.” That much has been very apparent, but that is wonderufl to hear. “Miley is very close with Kaitlynn,” another insider recently told People  in a previous report. “It’s romantic, but also a friendship,” the source pointed out. Of course. They were friends before any of this happened. All of the best relationships are like that. “They are both going through similar stuff right now,” the insider acknowledged. Both recently and very publicly split from very serious, committed relationships with handsome men from famous families. “And,” the source concluded, the two of them “are bonding over it.” Officially, Miley and Liam just grew apart and realized that marriage wasn’t right for them, and all of that jazz. You know, the usual publicist default explanation for any split. But Miley’s lyrics at her VMAs performance appeared to throw shade at Liam Hemsworth . At one point, a tweak to the normal lyrics made it appear that she thinks that she’s grown as a person, but he hasn’t. At another point, the lyrics make reference to her not needing “whiskey and pills,” giving the appearance of credence to rumors that Liam’s substance use contributed to the divorce. Interestingly, viewers of The Hills: New Beginnings recently got a hint about Kaitlynn and Brody Jenner’s romantic and sexual past. A recent episode discussed a rumor that the two had been polyamorous in the past, having one or more partners join them. (Or, at least, perhaps being in an open relationship) Some fans have speculated that Miley and Kaitlynn may have hooked up prior to either split — not cheating , but doing so with the consent of their respective partners. If so, that would be great — but not the cause of their breakups. But if that shot-in-the-dark theory is correct, it could explain why the two friends knew right away that they’d be great together as a couple. Haley Smith, Former American Idol Contestant, Dies in Motorcycle Crash

We have very sad news to report from the world of reality television: Haley Smith, a former American Idol hopeful who advanced to Hollywood back in 2012, was killed this past Saturday morning in Maine after she was involved in a one-vehicle motorcycle crash. The singer was 27 years old. According to authorities, per TMZ, the fatal accident took place in the town of Millinocket. The police say that Smith seemingly failed to make a sharp turn along a residential road that turned into a highway in certain sections. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Smith’s father, Mike, told the aforementioned outlet that his daughter was riding on this country road and her family believes a deer could have caused the crash. Mike also implied Haley was a strong motorcycle driver and doubted that she simply lost control of her bike, for whatever that is worth. It has also been confirmed that the crash occurred around 2 a.m. As for her stint on American Idol? Smith auditioned for the competition in Colorado. She only advanced to the second Hollywood round, yet impressed judges Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler with her folksy version of Chaka Khan’s “Tell Me Something Good.” The Aerosmith frontman said at the time it was an honor to hear Smith sing, adding that she was out of his “era” with her look and sound. “I love your voice so much. You’re right out of my era and I’m honored to be hear listening to your voice,” he said to be exact. The show, as you very likely know if you’re reading this, was canceled after 15 season on Fox in 2015. It has since been revived by ABC — with judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan starring on the program opposite longtime host Ryan Seacrest. The singing competition is heading into its 18th season (its third on ABC) and is scheduled to premiere in 2020. Smith is one of a handful of former American Idol contestants to have passed away since appearing on the series. Paula Goodspeed was the first death to hit close to American Idol when the Season 5 hopeful died from an apparent drug overdose in 2008. In July 2009, Alexis Cohen was killed by a hit-and-run driver in New Jersey. In August 2014, Season 7 finalist Michael Johns passed away due to complications of an undiagnosed heart condition called dilated cardiomyopathy. A few months later, fellow Season 7 competitor Joanne Borgella died from cancer. Then, in May 5, 2016, 36-year-old American Idol Season 2 finalist Rickey Smith was killed by a drunk driver. Tamra Judge Thinks Bethenny Frankel is Full of It

Tamra Judge has a few things to say about Bethenny Frankel’s recent announcement. The long-time Real Housewives of New York City cast member confirmed two weeks ago that she’s leaving the franchise which made her famous, prompting Judge to react in a way that can be summed up as follows: LOLOLOLOL! With Season 12 of this beloved series nearing production, Frankel told Variety in late August that she was finished with the program in part, she explained, because she wanted to spend more time with daughter Bryn. Here is a portion of Bethenny’s statement on the topic: I have decided to leave the Housewives’franchise to explore my next chapter. It’s time to move on and focus on my daughter, my philanthropy and my production partnership with Mark Burnett, producing and starring in shows which represent a shift in the conversation for women. With the changes in modern culture, I want to highlight the strength, confidence and unstoppable power that women have….I am excited for my future. The best is yet to come. Seems simple and straightforward enough, right? Nope, not according to Judge. In an interview with E!’s The Daily Pop, Judges scoffed at the notion that any star walks away from these Bravo shows for reasons having to do with their families. We’ll let her explain why. “I hate when a housewife either gets fired or says she quits… When they go on record [and] say, ‘I just need to spend time with my kids,’” Judge told the E! show, adding: “[I’m] just like, ‘Really? Because you weren’t spending time because we work three hours a day?’”  We gotta admit: that’s a rather great burn and self-own. One must appreciate it any time a reality star admits that he or she barely really works. The Real Housewives of Orange County star didn’t merely trash Bethenny, either. She went on to broadly cite all Housewives who have walked away under the guise of “spending quality time with children” or who have alleged that “the drama is just too much for me” or “I can’t stand the toxic environment.” Judge thinks all these excuses are total and complete BS. According E! host Carissa Culiner, Tamra went on to clarify during the interview that she “just hate[s] it when people aren’t honest about the way they’re leaving the show.” It sounds to us like Judge believes women only leave these shows due to contractual disputes. And sources have actually indicated that Bethenny did want more money from producers for Season 12. She allegedly had a salary figure in mind… executives didn’t meet it… and she then left, with her head held high and many other opportunities available for her to succeed elsewhere. Is this really all that different from what Frankel said in her departure statement? No. But would The Real Housewives be a hit if stars didn’t slam each other at every opporunity? Also no. Britney Spears: Radically Changing Her Appearance to Spite Her Dad?

Britney Spears has had a busy year, and none of it has had to do with her music. Her 30-day stint in a mental wellness facility left fans with unanswered questions, and now Britney’s court case is drawing more and more attention. Maybe she decided it was time for a change — because her new look is unrecognizable. An Instagram account by the name of Britney Spears 2000s has shared a snap of Britney Spears that has fans going wild. The sneak snapshot (really, it looks like someone took the photo while pretending to text, right?) shows the legendary singer out in public. But there’s something majorly different about the unparalleled superstar’s appearance. She has been blonde for years and years — to the point where it’s part of how people identify and portray her. Now, she’s gone full brunette and the difference is dramatic. See for yourself: As you can see, the woman strongly believed to be Britney is seated in a restaurant. She is wearing a pair of dark sunglasses along with a white blouse. Now, it is possible — given the glasses — that she is doing her best to obfuscate her appearance to avoid being ambushed by fans. (If you see your favorite celeb clearly not wanting to be recognized, be cool. Say “hi” or whatever as you walk past but keep walking, buddy ) If so, her brunette hair may be a tasteful wig designed to make people less likely to recognize her. On the other hand, let’s talk about Britney’s hair and the major symbolic role that it has played in her life. Famously, Britney once shaved her head. It was intensely dramatic and many people thought that it marked the end of her career. The truth is much more complicated. Britney would later explain that every time that she left, even to buy groceries, her team would insist upon fixing her hair to be picture-perfect. (Which makes sense, as reports say that they were also guaranteeing that TMZ would be there to photograph Britney, no matter how mundane her activities.) In order to reclaim a measure of independence and control over her own body, Britney shaved her head herself. It marked her freedom. Why is this valuable history lesson relevant to her going brunette, possibly with just an Alias wig? Because Britney is currently battling her own father in court as she petitions for greater freedoms. Jamie Spears has wielded his conservatorship over Britney — a conservatorship that was originally supposed to last only a weekend — for 11 long years. Earlier this year, even Britney’s mom, Lynn, took an interest in checking if Jamie is really deciding what’s best for their daughter. Britney is an adult woman and a first-rate mom who can make her own choices in life. So, has Britney altered her hair in a symbolic push for independence from her controlling father who micromanages all of her affairs? It’s certainly possible. She’s gone “dark” before, such as during the Blackout era. (If you measure moments in your adult life by silly things like “years” or “life milestones” instead of Britney eras, don’t even talk to me) That would be a much less drastic but still fairly obvious deviation from the image that so many people have constructed of her. But, for the moment, Britney hasn’t uploaded any photos or videos with brown hair. Nor have there been confirmed sightings of her as a brunette. Brandi Glanville to Tamra Judge: I’m Coming For You, C–t!

It’s been quite some time since Brandi Glanville got fired from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills . But either she’s angling to get her job back or she really just loves the drama, because this woman cannot stop stirring the pot. Many of us like to tweet while we watch our favorite reality shows, but when Brandi talks trash, the stars on screen clap back. It may not be as exciting as the days when she was out there hurling insults and wine glasses with the rest of the ladies, but at least her voice is being heard. Anyway, Brandi has a lot of time on her hands these days, which means she’s basically feuding with the whole damn cast. Last month, Brandi went off on Camille Grammer . And of course, she busted out her favorite four-letter insult in attacking her former colleague. This time around, it’s Tamra Judge’s turn to be called the c-word. The problem, it seems, is that Brandi doesn’t like the way the other Housewives have been treating her friend Kelly Dodd. Specifically, she takes issue with the rumor that Kelly banged eight dudes at one time, and she blames Tamra for perpetuating the claim. “I have much to say on the toxic trick that is Tamara but I’m going to enjoy my holiday wknd first & address it on my next youtube episode,” Brandi tweeted Saturday. “C–T f–king wait!” “Looks like someone needs a little attention,” Tamra replied to the tweet. “Who knew saying ‘Kelly is the new Brandi’ she’d lose her shit. It’s not like I called her a hypothetical a–hole. #calmdowngirl #attorneywatching #heresyourattention #takeitallin.” AS TooFab points out , Tamra likely meant to tweet “hypocritical a–hole,” not “hypothetical.” Anyway, from there, Brandi revealed that she really doesn’t know Tamra — but why should she let that pesky fact get in the way of a good feud? “@TamraBarney you are somebody that I don’t know but ur coming at my friends like a missile!” Glanville tweeted. “You need to calm down you’re being too loud so STFU.” “Its a Saturday…just finished some f–king rose…and really wishing Tamra would go away #bitch don’t kill my vibe,” she later added. It was at that point that Brandi accused Tamra of threatening her with legal action, tweeting: “So predictable! Cowards throw a stone and then hide behind their bank accounts so you can’t actually respond to them!” “Sweetie you threw the stone,” Judge replied. “Honey, how? Because I think your Meh-ssy??” Brandi shot back. “Babe your loud, predictable and uninteresting. Its just a fact no stones thrown.” “You’re on YouTube and the queen of messy, you can’t even keep it interesting on reality TV.” “Lets just agree to have a twitter war!?” Glanville then tweeted. “No lawyers, no haters. I don’t want to cancel anyone’s life. I don’t enjoy hate spewing. Lets agree to f–king disagree.” Despite agreeing to a Twitter war, Brandi then changed venues and attacked Tamra on her YouTube channel: “Vicki, oh my God, just f–king say it. What do you wanna say about Kelly? What is it? She did coke and had threesomes?” she said. “That’s a f–king Tuesday night for me. End scene,” Glanville added. “You bitches need to be a little nicer to her. Cocaine happens!” she continued. “Not saying it did, but it does on occasion, especially with threesomes and going through a divorce. Maybe I know a little bit about that? The Venice Film Festival has attracted a lot of controversy this week, primarily due to the decision to include works by controversial filmmakers such as Roman Polanski and Nate Parker. But it’s also elicited lots of annoyed groans and eye-rolls due to the decision to invite Z-list celebs wno have nothing to do with the film world. Yes, for reasons that no one fully understands, Farrah Abraham was on hand for the event. As you can see, Farrah is being her usually ridiculous self on the red carpet, coming dangerously close to flashing some vadge at the premiere of the new Brad Pitt film, Ad Astra . We would speculate that Farrah’s goal is to catch Brad’s attention and become the stepmom to his 47 children, but let’s be honest — there’s no way she’s thinking that far in advance. We’ve seen that look on Farrah’s face before, and it screams, “I only have a vague idea of where the hell I am.” That said, Farrah’s purpose in attending was 100% to steal the spotlight from the filmmakers and actors who actually belong there. And these days, it’s not just her own “career” that she’s trying to boost, but also her daughter’s. Yes, these days Farrah has a very complex relationship with her 10-year-old offspring. She frequently slams Sophia in brutally mean videos that she posts on YouTube, but she also never goes anywhere without her. The reason for this seems to be two-fold: 1. Farrah is aware that her own career prospects are dwindling, and she’s desperately hoping that Sophia will become famous enough to support her, and  2. She’s a former reality star that got fired from her show almost two years ago, and she uses her daughter like a prop to remind people that she used to be on Teen Mom . None of this is lost on Farrah’s social media followers who promptly roasted her for her latest Venice pics. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen another person drag their kid around with them like this to this extent. It’s so strange,” wrote one commenter. “Are you that desperate for relevancy? You’re only known for Teen Mom so nobody recognizes you without Sophia? Lmao how sad. Give up already Fraud Farrah, you will never be a celebrity.” “The kid is not a showpony; why give her the impression that this will be her future?” another added. “She’s going to be nuts by the time reality kicks in. It is a form of abuse, and it is sad to watch. Farrah, I think you are doing well for yourself. You want to be in the spotlight; that’s okay,” the critic continued. “You are a adult, but this little girl is not a handbag.. And who wants to see kids at a adult event? If you are invited at a red carpet kids event then bring her… don’t become a clown just for publicity.” Of course, toting her daughter around like a fashion accessory is just one way that Farrah has been off her rocker lately. Over the weekend, Abraham made it clear that she hates poor people with a scathing video message directed at a fan who confessed to having financial issues. The irony, of course, is that if Sophia proves unable to support her mom, Farrah will be the one with financial issues. Should be interesting to see where this goes! 13 Most Controversial Reality TV Shows of All-Time

In order for viewers to tune into a TV show, there has to be drama.  These 13 shows courted controversy throughout their time on the air.  Some of the scandals resulted in the shows getting canceled, while some of the shows are still on the air.  Have a look below.  1. Teen Mom The Teen Mom franchise has been a ratings winner for MTV. The show has stirred up much controversy over the years. From Jenelle Evans’ multiple arrests to some things we’d rather not speak about from Farrah Abraham’s life, the series has beaten the odds. The moms at the helm of the series seem to court controversy wherever they go. Maybe it just comes with the territory. 2. Buckwild Reality TV is more successful for MTV than anything else. Buckwild was like a mashup of Jersey Shore and Jackass. Some of the content was a cause for concern and there was much viewer backlash. A second season was ordered, but cast members started getting in trouble with the law. Things took a harrowing turn when cast member, Shain Gandee, tragically died of carbon monoxide poisoning. MTV ultimately pulled the plug while filming the second season. 3. Toddlers & Tiaras The world has mixed feelings about beauty pageants, so you can imagine the backlash when TLC launched Toddlers & Tiaras — a show that pretty much exploited young children. The most controversial moment, however, involved one young girl dressing up as Julia Roberts’ prostitute character from Pretty Woman. 4. Here Comes Honey Boo Boo This is a spin-off of Toddlers & Tiaras, and let’s just say it was filled with just as much controversy. The series was canceled when Mama June reportedly rekindled her relationship with the sex offender who allegedly molested her daughter. 5. 19 Kids & Counting The Duggar clan have been around for years, and it quickly became clear that they were hiding many secrets behind closed doors. TLC canceled the series after reports emerged, claiming that Josh Duggar molested a number of young women, including his own sisters. 6. Boy Meets Boy This series could have been a Bachelor for same-sex couples, but it was one of the most irresponsible series on the air. It focused on a man looking for love and eliminating the men who he did not feel a connection with. However, the producers thought it would be a good idea to have straight men in the mix.
