The latest addition to the New Orleans Pelicans via trade showed off his new tattoo sleeve, and it’s a homage to Black History’s biggest icons. The Pelican’s point guard is letting the world know he appreciated all that those before him have down. At the same time, acknowledging there is more work to be done. The tattoo was done by Southern California tattoo artist Steve Butcher who shared the finished product to his Instagram page. We probably don’t need to tell you that the Kardashian-Jenner clan is not your typical family. For example, most moms probably wouldn’t be too thrilled with a guy who got their daughter pregnant three times, refused to marry her, cheated on her repeatedly, and is now dating a woman literally half her age. But for reasons that aren’t entirely clear, Kris Jenner is still a big fan of Scott Disick. In fact, she’s so tight with former pseudo-son-in-law that Kris and Scott produced a reality show together . Unfortunately, Sunday night’s season premiere of Flip It Like Disick wasn’t exactly a smash hit. It’s almost like there’s already 47,000 house-flipping shows on basic cable; TV audiences are pretty much over the Kardashians, and they especially don’t care about Scott now that he’s no longer with Kourtney. Weird. Anyway, it’s a testament to Kris’ clout at E! that she was able to get execs to bankroll such an obviously ill-fated project. And it’s a testament to her work ethic that she’s still trying to figure out a way to get it picked up for a second season. Kris has been in this game a long time, and she likely knew from the start that viewers would be tuning in more to check in on Scott’s personal life than to see if he’ll be able to turn a profit in the real estate game. And so, her answer to the show’s dismal ratings is to drum up some interest in Scott’s relationship with Sofia Richie. Scott and Sofia have been dating for almost two years, which is more than a little gross, considering she’s 20 and he’s 36. Anyway, despite her youth, Disick and Richie are reportedly considering marriage, and apparently, Kris is pushing him to act now, so as to score some free advertising for Flip It . “Kris is trying to push Scott to propose so that they can capture it on camera, and he is not having any of it,” a source close to the situation tells Radar Online. Yes, its seems that Kris sees this as a “two birds with one stone” situation, but Scott’s not sharing her somewhat cynical perspective: “He wants to do this under his terms, and everyone is getting really impatient,” says the source. “Scott loves Sofia, this is obvious, but he refuses to be forced into anything.” And it seems Disick might be feeling the pressure from more than one source: “Sofia is getting very impatient,” says a different source. “She has been trying to remain confident that he will want to marry her, but her hope is starting to dwindle.” We can understand why Scott would be reluctant to propose, but he has no one but himself to blame for this situation. There are two old adages that one should always keep in mind: 1. Don’t date a teenager and expect them not to act impulsively, and 2. We probably don’t need to tell you that the Duggars have a lot of crazy ideas when it comes to gender roles. Women are expected to birth and raise whole litters of human beings, but are seldom allowed to participate in such “manly” activities as working outside the home, wearing pants, or engaging in unauthorized physical activity. And that’s not our sly way of referencing the Duggars’ ban on premarital sex. Most types of manual labor and virtually all sports are off-limits to Duggar women, as well. But leave it to the family’s resident rebel, Jinger Duggar, to mess with the established order of things. You see, in his youth, Jinger’s husband, Jeremy Vuolo, pursued a career as a professional soccer player. He made it quite far, playing goalkeeper for the New York Red Bulls and San Antonio Scorpions, both of the Major League Soccer organization. But when Jeremy’s soccer career was cut short, he turned his attention to what he considers to be his true calling — leading worship services. And that’s how the Vuolos wound up in Los Angeles, where Jeremy is currently attending divinity school. And what does all of this have to do with Duggar girls and sports? Well, earlier this week, Jinger and Jeremy attended a soccer game with their young daughter Felicity in tow. The match was between the Jeremy’s Red Bulls and the Los Angeles Football Club. The game itself was likely as boring as any soccer game. (Sorry, fans!) But one photo posted by Jinger really has fans talking: “It looks like she wants to be a goalkeeper like her daddy,” Jinger captioned the above photo of Felicity. Naturally, Jinger’s followers were giddy with the possibility that the mother of one might once again defy her parents’ rules. “Nothing wrong with sports, just hard to play soccer in a skirt,” wrote one commenter. “Is she allowed to play sports according to your beliefs?” asked another. “Love this. Start early!” a third exclaimed. Interestingly, Jeremy’s previous career — and his confessions about the life he lived as a college and professional athlete — are among the reasons that Jinger’s parents are less than crazy about the guy. “I was part of the college party scene and was not living wisely. I began sliding down the slippery, destructive slopes of lust, selfishness, and pride,” Vuolo once wrote on his personal website. “But as my life in the party-scene continued to decline, my performance on the field, as well as the relationships with those around me, also declined,” he continued. “It did not take very long for me to realize that my sin was catching up with me quickly.” Jeremy concluded his piece: “My lifelong passion of playing soccer for a living began to dwindle as a burning desire to serve God as a preacher and a pastor was growing.” You would think that last part would be enough to endear him to Jim Bob — but apparently, it wasn’t. So you know Jeremy would absolutely love it if his daughter flipped a big middle finger to her grandfather by growing up to be a pious soccer star. Just a week after word spread that Wesley Snipes, Rick Ross and Leslie Jones would be joining the original cast, Deadline is reporting that Shari Headly will indeed be returning to reprise her role as Lisa McDowell, but whether or not she’ll be Queen Lisa McDowell Joffer remains to be seen. According to previous reports the plot around Coming to America 2 revolves around Prince Akeem (Eddie Murphy) ready to take the reigns as King of Zamunda when he learns that he has a son living in Queens that he’s never known named Lavelle. At the request of his father King Jaffe Joffer (James Earl Jones), Akeem takes to America to find his bastard son and bring him back to the kingdom and groom him to take the throne when his time comes. Whether or not that son was conceived with someone other than Lisa McDowell or it is their son but they separated before she told him she was pregnant is anyone’s guess at this point. Either way we’re still be heading down to the show to see what comedic shenanigans Eddie Murphy and company have in store for us. Coming to America 2 is slated to release December 18, 2020.

Over the weekend, the world was stunned when Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus separated after only about eight months of marriage. Now, Liam is releasing his first-ever official, solo statement about the breakup. You can tell that he’s still reeling from the split. Their relationship has lasted, off and on, for a full decade. It’s understandable that he’s deep in his feelings. The 29-year-old actor took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message about this incredibly personal, difficult subject. “Hi all,” Liam’s caption begins. “Just a quick note to say that Miley and I have recently separated,” he confirms. (Wouldn’t it be wild if someone found out from that post and had totally missed the news for the past several days?) “And,” Liam continues. “I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward.” Liam goes on to emphasize that “this is a private matter.” “And,” he reveals. “I have not made, nor will I be making, any comments to any journalists or media outlets.” Now that is very interesting to hear, as we’ll explain in a moment. “Any reported quotes attributed to me are false,” Liam insists. He then concludes his caption with a warm: “Peace and Love.” That’s interesting, because a report recently claimed that Liam had spoken to an entertainment news correspondent. “You don’t understand what it’s like,” Liam allegedly said to the reporter. He is said to have then insisted: “I don’t want to talk about it, mate.” That sentiment is extremely understandable. But it sounds like Liam is claiming that he never said those words to any journalist. Miley released her own vague statement on social media in the wake of the couple’s separation going public. “Don’t fight evolution, because you will never win,” Miley wrote. She continued: “Like the mountain I am standing on top of, which was once under water, connected with Africa , change is inevitable.” “The Dolomites were not created over night,” Miley remarks. “it was over millions of years that this magnificent beauty was formed.” The Dolomites are, of course, a mountain range located in northeastern Italy. An official rep for the erstwhile couple also released an official statement. “Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time,” the statement began. “Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers,” the rep continued. “They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share,” the statement affirmed. ‘”While lovingly taking this time apart,” the rep concludec. “Please respect their process and privacy.” Miley and Liam began dating in 2009, and first became engaged only a few years later.
