The Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star was arrested on Saturday morning for allegedly driving drunk—and the fact that her car only had 3 wheels was the initial giveaway. According to reports, Mari was pulled over after cops saw her coming out of the Midtown Tunnel into Queens in a red Dodge Charger, which allegedly sparks shooting from the front of the vehicle. What cause said sparks? One of the front wheels (the one on the right) was missing. Per the New York Post , Mari drove a mile through the Queens-Midtown tunnel after her right front tire dislodged. Bridge and tunnel cops actually gave chase as Mari’s car sparked through the tunnel. After coming to a stop, cops did a field sobriety test and it was only downhill from there. She reportedly blew 0.304 into the breathalyzer, which is 3 times the legal limit. Besides a DWI she was hit with a violation of court-ordered ignition interlock, illegal tinted windows, illegal operation of a vehicle, unlicensed operator of a motor vehicle, and more, per the cops. Mari has been publicly battling alcohol abuse issues .

Thousands of people gather in Richmond for the renaming of a street to Arthur Ashe Boulevard and the unveiling of an exhibit on the struggle for black equality https://t.co/uHxJwJEJOm — The Washington Post (@washingtonpost) June 22, 2019 The plan for the thoroughfare renaming has been in the works for several years and it finally came to fruition on Saturday. Loved ones, elected officials, community leaders and supporters gathered for the unveiling of Arthur Ashe Boulevard. Ashe has broken several barriers for Black athletes over the course of his career. The tennis star—who earned three Grand Slam titles—was the first African American player to be selected for the U.S. Davis Cup team. He was also the first Black man to win the singles title at Wimbledon, the Australian Open and the U.S. Open. His impact transcended beyond the tennis court. Ashe utilized his platform to spread awareness about social issues. He created the Arthur Ashe Institute for Urban Health and the Arthur Ashe Foundation for the Defeat of AIDS. Earlier this year, the Richmond City Council approved a plan to name a stretch of Route 161 after the athlete. Hundreds of individuals, including Rep. John Lewis , were there to see the vision realized. “This is an extremely moving time for my family, but I think it’s also a tremendous success for Richmond as a progressive city,” Ashe’s nephew David Harris told ABC News . “We’re also putting a stake in the ground for Arthur Ashe’s legacy of social justice, which is good for all of us.” Cities across the country have been pushing their efforts to rename streets after Black pioneers forward. NASA recently renamed the street in front of its headquarters “Hidden Figures Way” to honor mathematicians Mary Jackson , Katherine Johnson , and Dorothy Vaughan for breaking barriers for African Americans in the space industry and pushing space exploration forward. Throughout her journey, she’s balanced working full-time for a federal agency, pursuing her educational goals, and motherhood. In her new role, she hopes to bring diverse narratives within the legal community to the forefront. “Our school has a rich and impressive history; our alumni are Texas Supreme Court justices, judges, U.S. and district attorneys, and presidents of state and local bar associations, to name a few,” she said in a statement. “Our Law Review should reflect that same culture; it should be a leading resource for the legal community. It is not enough to be on Law Review — we have to increase our presence and open doors for all the law students who follow our stead as the esteemed South Texas Law Review.” Starling is fully aware of the responsibility that comes with being the first Black editor-in-chief and does not take her appointment lightly. Tom Holland & Zendaya Talk Internet Chatter, Euphoria & Spider-Man: Far From Home

The rest is here:

Tom Holland and Zendaya work magic together on the big screen in the latest movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Spider-Man: Far From Home. The first movie after the events of Avengers: Endgame, it has a giant responsibility to be great and it doesn’t disappoint. I went out to London in the United Kingdom to sit down with Zendaya, Tom Holland and Jacob Batalon. Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few years one of the biggest rumors is, “Are Tom Holland and Zendaya dating” and during the press for this movie people have been doing a lot of speculation about that subject in order to get a confirmation. I’m sure there will be even more assumptions after people finally get to see Spider-Man: Far From Home on July 2nd, 2019 when it hits theaters. I asked Tom and Zendaya what are they expecting the chatter to be like once the film is released and Tom, blushed while saying, “The obvious things.” While Zendaya gushed, “It’s there, and it will always be there.”  Tom then revealed he is excited for people to see the movie, “We make this film for the fans, and always like to think we don’t present people with a film, we share a film with them. I’m just excited for the fans to be a part of this process, we’ve all loved being a part of this process and making it and now it’s time to share it and I really can’t wait to hear what people think.” During the rest of the interview, Tom and Jacob talk about watching Euphoria for the first time and what they thought about the show when Zendaya told them she was starring in the latest HBO show. I also asked Zendaya which high school life is more like real life high school, Euphoria or Spider-Man, she said, “It’s two different experiences and it depends on people’s walks of life.” To which Tom poked fun at me saying, You would rather elemental creature destroying their high schools? You would rather Thanos!” The entire interview was fun and definitely worth watching be sure to catch Spider-Man: Far From Home in theaters.

Ashley Graham Shares Email From A Racist Troll Calling Her Husband A “Brain Dead N****”

Go here to read the rest:

Source: Raymond Hall / Getty Earlier this week, we reported on Ashley Graham’s story about her husband, Justin Ervin, being spat on when the two were on vacation in Italy. Now, the model is giving us an even deeper look at all the hate she both endures and witnesses first hand against her husband because of their interracial relationship. Graham shared a screenshot of a shocking email she received this week–which you can take a look at over on  Daily Mail –that urges her to leave her husband because he’s black. The email was shared on her Instagram Stories, where the model told her fans that ‘racism isn’t clickbait, it’s real and evil’ before including a photo of the absolutely sickening message. Text “RICKEY” to 71007 to join the Rickey Smiley Morning Show mobile club for exclusive news.  ( Terms and conditions ). “You are no role model to anyone,” the email from a man named Sterling started. The subject line read, “I detest everything you represent.” The man continued on, saying, “Race mixing is evil and against nature” It becomes clear that Ashley and Justin’s relationship insults Sterling’s lil racist azz because her husband is black, so he decided to voice his bigotry in the horrific email–also taking shots at the model’s size and appearance.
