All designated smoking areas will be removed, prompting smokers and vapers to indulge in their habit outside the park entrances at Disney resort hotels. Other new policies include limiting stroller sizes to 31-inches by 52-inches and stopping guests from bringing “loose and dry ice” into the parks. Reusable ice packs are allowed, and cups of ice are available at no charge in other locations. Disney is expecting a visitor surge this summer, thanks to the debut of its Galaxy’s Edge attractions, which opens May 31 at Disneyland and August 29 at Walt Disney World. Source: Deadline

Source: Splash / Splash News The guilty pleas continue to come in for those caught up in the federal racketeering case involving Brooklyn rapper Tekashi69. This time it’s his former manager, Kifano “Shotti” Jordan , who on Thursday (March 28) pleaded guilty to a pair of weapons charges. Back in January, Tekashi (born Daniel Hernandez) pleaded guilty to 9 federal charges as part of a plea deal , and he’s been singing ever since. As for Shotti, he was facing at least 50 years in the bing if he went to trial. Instead, he’s looking at 15 years behind bars. Per Vulture : During Jordan’s plea proceeding today, he admitted to “using and possessing a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence” and “discharging a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence,” according to the Manhattan U.S. Attorney’s Office. The two charges relate to two incidents last year, an April 3 assault in Manhattan, and a shooting in Brooklyn on April 21, prosecutors said. “Today, Kifano Jordan admitted in open court to committing multiple acts of violence in furtherance of the Nine Trey enterprise,” Manhattan U.S. Attorney Geoffrey S. Berman said in a statement. “This conduct is simply intolerable.” For the first count, there is a mandatory minimum sentence of five years in federal lockup. For the second count, the minimum is ten years behind bars. From the comments of Shotti’s lawyers, the feds had him dead to rights. “Had he gone to trial, he would have probably received a mandatory 50-year sentence,” Lichtman told Vulture . “To be able to get out of it with the 15-year sentence — what the plea agreement calls for — we made the best of a bad situation.” Don’t mess with the Feds, periodt. — Photo: Splash News

Now, unfortunately for us, Chris Evans didn’t exactly slip up and give any actual info about End Game’s plot or anything like that–but he did give us some insight into the tone of the movie. Here’s what he said about the film to THR after watching a snippet: “It’s a good one. It’s a real good one,” said Chris, admitting that he’s already seen the first hour of the movie. “This one’s really good. I choked up like three times.” To the naked eye, that quote might not seem like anything too serious–but reading between the lines can be very telling. Though the Avengers films have had some heart-wrenching moments in the past that don’t involve a character dying, it’s a pretty safe bet that any moment causing Captain America himself to choke up would be pretty heavy. So what could he be talking about that’s worthy of choking up over? Him and Tony Stark finally reuniting? His character’s last scene ever? To be fair, most of our mind’s our tainted because of this Chris Evans tweet from back in October, where he pretty much implied that the end is VERY near for him. I mean, we already knew that his contract was up after End Game, but let’s face it, this just has us all expecting the worst. Officially wrapped on Avengers 4. The new DAW features colored waveforms, EQ and filter controls, a mixing channel as well as cue points that will allow users to trigger sounds. Serato Studio will also provide DJs with “easy beat-making,” thanks to the DAW having over 100 pre-made drum patterns from different genres of music. The software’s 808-style step sequencer will even allow users to put their own patterns together. There is more than 30 effects presets as well as a library of instruments, loops and built in-sounds to utilize. A vital tool for DJs is organizing, of course, and Serato Studio’s use of intuitive layouts will help keep things nice and neat for users. You will be able to easily divide your track into segments and since Studio’s DAW borrows from Serato DJ’s logging system users can organize their tracks into digital crates for easier recall. Serato Studio is compatible with Roland TR-8S, Numark Party Mix, Pioneer DJ DDJ‑SX3, Denon DJ X1800 Prime and more. Due to an overwhelming response, Serato had to pause the beta but will allow you to still sign-up to be notified when it opens again. In an interview, Shotti called the Brooklyn rapper an “ungrateful rat bastard,” among other colorful language. DJ Pvnch, who used to be Tekashi’s DJ, shared a snippet of a phone call he had with Shotti. Not the best of lucks when the person on the other line is under federal indictment, but that’s another convo for another time. “This n*gga…he broke every code and every rule out this motherf*cka,” said Shotti. “He’s an ungrateful rat bastard, man. It’s just that simple, but I forgive the lil n*gga after all that, ya feel me. It’s all good.” Pvnch quickly deleted the clip, but this is the Internets, and you can hear it below. Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel said Thursday the city plans on billing the Empire actor for the police investigation into his January report of a hate crime. See Also: Report: Criminal Charges Dropped Against Jussie Smollett “The police are right now finalizing the cost that was used, police resources to come to the understanding this was a hoax and not a real hate crime,” Emanuel said on WGN Radio. “What we spent. The corporation counsel, once they have the finalized and feel good about the numbers, will then send a letter to Jussie Smollett and his attorneys, trying to recoup those costs for the city.” Smollett could be charged upwards of six figures. Both the police department and Emanuel were reportedly very upset when charges were dropped against the actor earlier this week. Smollett only forfeited his $10,000 bond. ( Terms and conditions ). In her sit down interview, Carter spoke about the sexual assault she experienced at the hands of Kelly in 2003, when she was 24-years-old. Carter said she had been working as Kelly’s braider for a year and even defended him in 2002, when he was arrested on child pornography charges. Carter described Kelly with two words: “Perfect gentleman.” “I would tell people, ‘Pray for him. I do his hair. He is nothing like what they say.’ On, February 18, 2003, Carter alleged that Kelly called her in to braid his hair. Later, he asked her to massage his head. She told him she didn’t do massages, “I laughed it off. I didn’t know he was for real. If I could change that day, I wouldn’t have been there.” Kelly allegedly yanked her head down by her braid and demanded that he perform oral sex on her. Carter said Kelly repeatedly told her, “Suck it for Daddy.” Carter tried to shield herself from his body with her hand, pulling away from him. Email Submit Carter said the only thing that made him stop was someone knocking on the door. “He didn’t open the door right away. He says, ‘Fix your face. Fix your muthaf*cking face.’ I knew that’ll be my last day there.” Carter went to the bathroom and started questioning herself. “I get to the bathroom and I grab the wall and it was a rose colored towel. I wipe my face. I’m not dressed no type of way. I look at myself in the mirror, I’m not a beauty queen. I didn’t perceive myself to be more than just his hair braider. And I just kept thinking to myself, why did this happen to me.” Carter called authorities the same day to report the incident. SEE ALSO: R. Semen.” For whatever reason, charges were not filed against Kelly in 2003. Carter offered her theory about the reason why this might have been so. “Celebrities are powerful. Celebrities have support systems. I have no support system outside of my immediate family.” Six months later, Carter signed a $650,000 settlement where Kelly denied any wrong doing and Carter agreed to keep quiet. In 2009, R. Kelly released, “Hair Braider” a song about having sex with the woman who braids his hair. Carter said there were references to her in the lyrics and music video. Kelly sings, “Zig zag braids, got em looking like spaghetti.” Carter said, “That was one of the hair styles that I was known for doing. We were on the L shaped couch when the incident happened.” The song led to another confidential settlement, this one for $100,000. In documents, Kelly denies any wrong doing but agreed never to perform it again or include it on any of his future albums. After the documentary, Cook County State Attorney Kimberly Foxx asked that victims of Kelly come forward and share their stories. Carter said, “I would be going on with my day, you turn on the news, here’s another R. Kelly victim. Another R. Kelly victim. Another R. Kelly victim. You just want to be there for them.” Carter said that interestingly enough, Kelly’s interview with Gayle King that inspired her to come forward and tell her story publicly. “I know that I love myself today. I know that I don’t care what anybody say about me. This is a release. I been carrying this since 2003. I don’t want to be in the public but this is my life. But I feel like, always meeting people’s needs, every single day, all the time is the hardest thing that I go through. I feel like if I don’t meet their needs then I failed, even at the Olympics, Everybody wanted me to win six golds or this or that and I didn’t meet those needs and I was really down on myself, especially after the beam even thought I still medaled. And everybody was like, ‘What the heck is a bronze?’ The best way of dealing with pressure Therapy. Therapy is everything. I feel like nowadays, if you say you’re going to therapy, nobody questions it anymore. But before if I said I’m going to therapy, they’re like ‘Oh you’re going to a cuckoo doctor. That’s why therapy today is so important and it needs to be more normalized. I’m still going through things in everyday life that I still have to go to therapy for. Email Submit When she realized she was being abused There was a time I asked my friend and I called her, and I asked her the definition of sexually abused because some of my other friends they had had worse than me. And they’re like, ‘No, if he did that and that then you’ve been sexually abused.’ I kind of brushed it off. I’m not willing to put that out there for the world to see. They’re not going to see me as Simone the gymnast. They’re going to see me as Simone as the sexual abuse survivor. So I denied it and I buried it. And I was very depressed. I never left my room. I was sleeping all the time. And I told one of my lawyers, ‘I sleep all the time because it’s the closest thing to death.’ I told my mom first. I had just read the story about my friend coming out and I was bawling and I called my mom and then I told her. Then we had detectives come and stuff like that and that was the moment I realized. It’s a lot better now. It wasn’t easy but I feel like I’m a stronger woman today and I feel like telling my story has helped younger girls. I try not to let it alter how I behave because I want them to always know the real, raw Simone. We’re not going to try to get arrested or have any videos on TMZ or anything but we have to live our normal lives. Her advice for Pryanka I think it’s risk-taking. Even in 2018, I took a lot of risks and I did things that terrified me. It made me realize who I was as a person.
