Spade was 55. Our condolences to the Spade family and their loved ones. My grandmother gave me my first Kate Spade bag when I was in college. I still have it. Holding Kate’s family, friends and loved ones in my heart. — Chelsea Clinton (@ChelseaClinton) June 5, 2018 Kate Spade made some of my favourite pieces. Her use of colour was brilliant. Her books are wonderful. Her poor family. Thinking particularly of her young daughter. Absolutely heartbreaking. — Caroline Hirons (@CarolineHirons) June 5, 2018 So sad to hear about Kate Spade, one of the great entrepreneurial stories of all time. WATCH: Childish Gambino’s “This Is America” Video Recreated Using ‘Fortnite’

See the original post:

Since its release Childish Gambino’s video for his hit record “ This is America ” has been the topic of many discussions and the subject of different analysis ( some absolutely ridiculous ) when it came to its meaning. It has even spawned recreations, some really bad see YouTuber Comedians Nicole Arbour’s awful mayonnaise infused version and some good like Nigerian pop star Folarin ‘Falz’ Falana’s version “ This is Nigeria ” which was praised by Diddy and has already amassed over 3 million views. Now if you ever asked yourself how the song would look using the ridiculously well-liked game Fortnite ? A gamer group called WiziBlimp has supplied the answer and it’s quite hilarious for the most part. While no it does not have a thought-provoking message like Glover’s video it is pretty impressive to see the game used in such a way and almost accurately copy the video. Fortnite’s most popular streamer/player, Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins shared his approval for the parody video. Ninja Reacts to “This Is Fortnite” – This is America Parody! Source: Getty Nowadays when we think of police, we don’t usually associate them with fun, dancing and having a good time.   But some members of law enforcement actually realize that they’re human too, and don’t mind showing civilians that side of them. Just like Columbus cop, Officer AJ , who took the stage at Summer 614 Concert and showed off his best “Shoot” dance moves. But a lot.   But as far as dancing goes — the folks you’d least expect are the ones with the moves.   And we ain’t mad.

While everyone is enjoying Carlos Santana don't forget that Jimi Hendrix was slandered for doing this at Woodstock pic.twitter.com/QJhBXiDqEC — John David (@johndavidrhymes) June 4, 2018 The late rock star’s performance was somewhat of a protest against the anthem. Hendrix openly condemned that American soldiers were deploying napalm against civilians in Vietnam and used the guitar and the washed up anthem to express his frustration. When asked about his opinon on police, Jimi once said: “The world is nothing but a big gimmick, isn’t it? Napalm bombs, people getting burned up on TV. American cops? Oh man, it’s really great, man, they’ve got some really groovy uniforms, stripes down their pants. Clubs in their pockets—wow, outta sight. Guns!”   Nearly 50 years later and Colin Kaepernick still has to protest the same song.   But anyway, congrats to Carlos Santana and thanks for showing a whole new generation of kids what swagged out anthem would sound like. via GIPHY
