#MarriedToMedicine Beef: Buffie Says Dr. Jackie Maliciously Made Light Of Her Fertility Issues

Source: Kathy Boos / Bravo TV Buffie Says Dr. Jackie Maliciously Made Light Of Her Fertility Issues A “Married To Medicine” newbie is calling out one of the cast OGs. Buffie Purselle who was seen on the new season alongside her good friend Joseline Herandez is putting Dr. Jackie Walters on blast. On the next episode of “Married To Medicine” Buffie will be seen looking on in horror as Dr. Jackie Walters lets a crowded room know that Buffie was “infertile.” According to Jackie she and Buffie can relate on that level because she’s had fertility issues following bouts with breast cancer. “4 years ago, I got breast cancer, said Dr. Jackie. “And the thing that we grow up, most of us wanting to do, you can’t do. And Buffie, you can relate. You’re infertile.” According to Buffie, the moment was intentional and malicious. She also corrected Dr. Jackie and said that she’s not infertile and has actually been pregnant multiple times but suffered miscarriages. “This was one of the most humiliating and painful moments in my life. I am proud that I was able to rise above my pain and embarrassment and conduct myself as the lady that my Mother and Grandmother raised me to be. When you first meet someone and they see that you are happily married they ask the inevitable question “do you have kids?” I always answer no. No – period. Then SOME people ask “why NOT” as if my husband I have done something wrong. I am then forced to explain my many failed attempts at motherhood. This is the level of discussion that Dr. Walters and I had regarding my CHALLENGES with fertility. To call another woman infertile is cruel. That word doesn’t begin to describe the type of person that I am. The clinical definition is that you are unable to GET pregnant. Well, I can and have gotten pregnant many times. I was just unable to carry my babies to full term. Additionally, it means that you bear no fruit. Well, I like to think that I have been a productive member of society and that my mark will be left through philanthropy. I believe that Dr. Walters said this with malicious intent because she could have said many other things about me if she truly wanted to relate to me. We are both successful businesswomen, we are both extremely organized, we both do a lot of charity work, the list goes on and on but she settled on this. And to date, she has NEVER offered me a sincere apology. I don’t want an apology from her anyway because she doesn’t think that she did anything wrong. A mouse has more emotional intelligence. For all of the people saying this is some sort of editing trick – sadly it’s not, it happened, and being forced to relive it on television and social media hasn’t been fun. Thank you to everyone for the positive words of encouragement. The kindness of strangers will never cease to amaze me. I’m fine. I’m tougher than I seem and this too shall pass. Kimmy Talks Kompromising For Kanye After His ‘Tone Down’ Dressing Komments

Source: Dia Dipasupil / Getty Kim Kardashian Talks Compromising For Kanye Kim Kardashian was a guest on “The Real” today and she spoke on a number of topics including her “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” fight with Kanye over her “too sexy” style. As previously reported in an episode of ” Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s”, Kim and Kanye had a disagreement about Kim’s Met Gala outfit that Kanye disapproved of. According to Kim, she’s compromised for Kanye because of his spiritual journey. She’s not only compromised in her own ways, but she’s also compromised with their children—North is longer allowed to wear makeup, and the kids were removed their kids’ rooms. “I obviously want to honor him and what he’s feeling,” she said. “And he’s been going through this life change.” “The kids are getting older,” she explained. “He’s more cautious about what we have in the house. And we got rid of TVs in the kids’ rooms and removed makeup from North’s room. And he’s had this epiphany of being…a little bit more strict as a dad and being very forceful on the imagery that’s in the household and what they see.” She also added that she’s still staying true to herself but is keeping in mind that she’s a mom of four who’s turning 40 next year. “I’m always going to be me,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star said. “So, we had that discussion and that fight. I think, at the end of the day, that’s what marriage is. He’s going to do things that I don’t agree with and I support him and vice versa. So, with this, we were having this conversation of just what is too much? And, I am a mother of four, like, I am going to be 40 next year.” “Just where he has gone in his life and maybe things that he did a year ago, he probably wouldn’t be doing today,” she shared. “And I love that beautiful journey as well and I think that’s a great example for our kids. But, you know, there’s also that fine line of staying firm and doing what you feel comfortable with. And I take a little bit of him and I hear what he’s saying and I totally compromise. Kanye couldn’t have been too happy about Kim’s Elle Woods Halloween outfit this year… View this post on Instagram Harvard Law…. What? Like it’s hard??? Did This Nike Vaporfly Sneaker Help The NYC Marathoner Winner Run 26.2 In Just Over 2 Hours?

See the rest here:

Source: Patrik Lundin / Getty Kenyan marathoner Geoffrey Kamworor won the 2019 NYC Marathon on Sunday, coming in first place. This is the second New York City Marathon he was won in three years. The runner should be celebrating his win; however, it was his fashion choice that have left people skeptical. Kamworor was wearing the controversial Nike Vaporfly 4% sneaker, a shoe that boasts research that shows it helps runners go faster. Source: ALEX HALADA / Getty This shoe was also worn by Kenyan runner (pictured above) Eliud Kipchoge who wore the same shoes for the Vienna marathon, that allowed him to run it in under 2 hours, the fastest recorded time ever. However, his speed of 1:59:40 didn’t get counted as a world record because “it was not run under open marathon conditions and because it featured a dense rotation of professional pacesetters,” according to the New York Times . Kipchoge was also wearing these infamous shoes. Source: ALEX HALADA / Getty When Kamworor won the marathon this past Sunday in 2 hours, 8 minutes, and 13 seconds, there were cheers, but also whispers that the magical shoes had helped him cross the finish line. He was met by Kipchoge, who also is his team mate. Many marathoners and elite runners are switching to these shoes. In fact, Kamworor set the world record for fastest half marathon (58 minutes, 1 second) while wearing Vaporflys. Is this a coincidence? The 4% comes from the fact the shoe’s soles have an amalgamation of foam and carbon fiber plates which structurally help push runners forward for each stride. Researchers unaffiliated with Nike did a study in February of this year and found that the shoes improved runners’ stride and energy efficiency by 4% as compared to other running sneakers. Knowing this as well as the knowledge that recent world record holders have worn these shoes, makes one wonder if the sneakers are giving them an advantage. Kanworor was questioned regarding this at the 2018 New York City Marathon and answered, “I don’t think that the shoe is a factor. Provided that you are prepared, that you are training hard, you can run with any kind of shoe. So the shoe is not a disadvantagee to other people.” However, that’s not what research shows. Beauties, what do you think? Did the shoe give an unfair advantage? Sound off in the comment section! FAB FINDS: Discover This Affordable Beauty Hack For Cleaning Your Makeup Brushes At Under $1.00

Go here to see the original:

Source: Peopleimages / Getty As a celebrity makeup artist, I’ve been asked quite often how frequently one should wash their personal makeup brushes. My response is always the same: Wash your brushes as frequently as you wash your pillow cases . However, how to wash them however, wasn’t always an easy reply. In the beginning, I remember attempting to wash my brushes with the same bar of soap that I used to wash my body. For me, it’s Dove ($6.19, target.com ). Since the product worked so well on my skin and kept me clean, surely it would break down the build-up on my brushes. Right? I tried this a couple times and found myself in the bathroom for far too long. Rinse after rinse it took too many tries to get my dingy brushes like new again. After a couple of tries, I realized that I was just going to have to use something stronger. The next best thing would be dish soap. That worked like a charm and got my dirty white brushes white again, but then I noticed them slowly loosing bristles over time. It was obvious to me that the dish soap was drying out the hair of my brushes. I’d spent a lot of money on those suckers and needed them to hold up! Not to mention, my Beauty Blender sponges ($20.00, macys.com ) that were $20 a pop STILL wouldn’t get cleaned by anything other than the official soap that the company makes. Those bars of soap ($16.00, ulta.com ) cleaned my brushes and blenders marvelously but they were not affordable, especially for how fast I was moving through the product. Thus, I like many other girls just gave up washing my brushes as often as I should. Oh come on! Don’t act like you haven’t gone a month or longer without washing your brushes! It’s easy to do when you realize how time consuming it can be and how costly it is to purchase soaps that are meant to wash the hairs of your brushes. Once I became a working makeup artist I gathered up a collection of brushes meant only for clients and realized that I’d have to come up with a solution for cleaning my brushes. I’d be using them on multiple faces and needed them to be clean for each use for sanitary purposes. After some trial and error I narrowed it down to baby shampoo ($4.99, target.com ) for my brushes and the official Beauty Blender bar of soap ($16.00, ulta.com ) for my Beauty Blender ($20.00, macys.com ). The baby soap was strong enough to get my brushes clean but not too strong that it would dry them out. Still, it took a few washings before I could get them to be REALLY clean. One day I was traveling with a client. I had been working with this particular celebrity for some time and I was in and out of hotels with her. I realized after a long day on set that I’d run out of my bar of soap to wash my Beauty Blenders. It was late and Sephora wasn’t open so I used my only option…the bar of soap provided by the hotel. Within seconds of working up a good lather I realized that this bar of soap was cleaning the hell outta that sponge better than the official bar of soap! I grabbed a white bristled brush and tried using the soap on it. In seconds the brush was back to white! SECONDS! With my baby shampoo it took a few washings! The next morning I approached a maintenance worker and asked for more soap for my room. She gave me one bar. “Do you think you could spare any more of them?”. By the end of my stay I’d racked up at least 10 bars. It wasn’t long before I realized that it wasn’t just that hotel’s soap that cleaned my brushes and sponges. It was ALL hotel soap. So why would hotel soap work but not my Dove soap?! Simply put, because its cheap. Cheap soap cleans brushes and sponges best. I put this theory to the test by going to the drug store and purchasing the least expensive bar of soap they offered: Dial soap at .99 cents a bar. Now, all of these years later, that is my go-to product to clean my brushes and my sponges. The best part? Dial soap ($1.99, target.com ) is antibacterial too. WIN WIN! The only down side is that it is somewhat drying. I counteract this conditioning my real hair brushes every now and again. It’s real hair so you can condition it! Pamper your brushes from time to time so they can keep pampering you!
