Source: Atlanta Police Department / Via APD Barron Brantley and his girlfriend Jordyn Jones have been charged in the killing of Clark Atlanta University student and Jones’ roommate Alexis Crawford , days after Crawford reported Brantley for unwanted kissing and touching. One of the pair led investigators to the body of the missing 21-year-old CAU student in a Dekalb County park on Friday. A medical examiner concluded that Crawford died of asphyxiation. RELATED: Missing Clark Atlanta Student Found Dead, Roommate Suspected In Murder “I am so truly sorry that we could not provide you with a better ending,” Atlanta Police Chief Erika Shields said, addressing her words to Crawford’s family. Crawford was reported missing on October 30, days after she filed the report against Brantley. She and Jones were “not on speaking terms” according to the report for an unrelated incident. Crawford had also begun sleeping on the couch as opposed to her bedroom since the incident with Brantley where Jones said she later discovered Crawford with “cut panties.” Brantley denied sleeping with Crawford but Crawford reported that Brantley had kissed her neck and grabbed her shoulder at a party, mistaking her for his girlfriend.

Because of this news, conversations have started around whether or not this is a good idea–and Cardi B , someone whose built their career off of the platform, has something to say. According to the rapper, there are much bigger problems than likes. “It’s a big ruckus right now that the likes on Instagram are getting taken away,” she said in an Instagram post on Friday. “This is my opinion on it, right? So from the beginning of Instagram, we had likes. Some people don’t have a life…I see a lot of people dedicate they time into sayin’ some of the craziest, most absurd shit on comments, just for likes and comments back. And I feel like that’s what’s messing up Instagram.” But there’s not only people who express too much of their own opinion on the platform. According to Cardi, the comment section has kept some fans from expressing their views because they might not want to risk getting attacked over a difference in opinion. “If anything is affecting Instagram right now, it’s the way the comments have been done or have been changing these past few years,” she said. “I feel people been sayin’ the most weirdest shit, been starting the craziest arguments, been starting to race bait … because they want to get to the top, they want to get the most reactions. And that’s what I feel: The comments effect more than the likes.” While Cardi has a point, users on Instagram do have the option of turning off comments on their posts is they so choose–but is that enough? Or should the platform do away with comments all together?

The rapper’s second annual ASTROWORLD Festival took place on Saturday, November 9 in his hometown of Houston, Texas. Along with hosting the whole event, Travis also headlined the festival, performing for the 50,000 + people expected to attend. While he was on stage getting sentimental about the second year of his very own festival, he took the time out to thank those who helped him get here. Among those people: his baby mama and their daughter. Even though these two supposedly broke up back in October, it’s not too surprising that Kylie would bring Stormi to the festival anyway to supervise as she supports her dad. Waiters, who was MIA against the Lakers, reportedly received medical treatment when the plane landed after the flight from Los Angeles from Phoenix. Waiters has had a rough start to the season in Miami, and has yet to play in a single game this season. The Heat are reportedly frustrated with his lack of production after inking him to a huge deal. He is in the third year of his four year, $52 million deal with the Heat. He is also due $24 million through the end of his contract, though could miss a $1.2 million bonus if he misses three more games this year. This incident will make it even harder for the team to trade the veteran seeing as no team may be willing to take on all the drama surrounding the veteran player.

The RHOP star who previously threatened to “drag Candiace pregnant and all” apparently made good on the threat during an October 16 incident. PEOPLE reports that the two were at a dinner party alongside their RHOP cast members when Samuels grabbed Dillard by the hair and pulled her down . Bravo cameras were reportedly filming the incident the whole time. Candiace, 32, recently filed a complaint over the incident and Monique, 36, is now facing a second-degree assault charge and will appear before a judge on December 23. A second-degree assault conviction would come with potential jail time. Walker, Jr. provided PEOPLE with an exclusive statement. “At this time, we do not want to say too much and just allow the criminal process to play out. House / Getty Marquis Jefferson, Father Of Atatiana Jefferson, Dies The father of the Fort Worth woman who was gunned down by a police officer in her home has unfortunately passed away. A family spokesperson confirmed that Marquis Jefferson, 58, suffered a heart attack and died Saturday night at Methodist Charlton Medical Center. “Less than a month ago, he was working at El Centro, mentoring kids twice a week,” family spokesman Bruce Carter told KXAS-TV (Channel 5). “He just couldn’t get back from what happened with his daughter.” Marquis Jefferson first made headlines when he filed a restraining order to put a stop to his daughter’s funeral that was planned without him. The funeral was rescheduled and held October 24. As previously reported 28-year-old Atatiana Jefferson was shot and killed Oct. 12 in her home while she was playing video games with her nephew. The officer who killed her now faces a murder charge. This is all so, so, sad. Our condolences go out to the whole Jefferson family.

Now according to WSB TV , Alexis’ cause of death has been revealed as asphyxiation. Alexis’ roommate 21-year-old Jordyn Jones, is charged with malice murder. Jone’s boyfriend Barron Brantley, who is also charged in Crawford’s death, was booked Friday night. The motive for Alexis’ murder is unclear but authorities report that she filed a complaint against Brantley three days before she disappeared accusing him of “unwanted touching and kissing” inside the apartment she shared with Jones. According to the police report, “the victim stated that the suspect rubbed his hand on her shoulder and kissed her on the neck. The Canadian rapper-singer was at the popular Miami club Friday night, where he was reportedly set to perform. Prior to taking the stage, however, he got into a little kerfuffle with Prince Michael Harty, a rapper/promoter on ‘L&HH: Miami’. It’s unclear if he connected with the guy cleanly, but it appears the rest of Tory’s security team and entourage joined in on the beat down too. LIV reps released a statement on the altercation: “Last night our security broke up an altercation between Love and Hip Hop’s Prince and Tory Lanez.
