In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Jada said that they’ll soon be discussing polyamorous relationships, as her 18-year-old daughter has expressed her interest in romantic unions that host more than two partners. Anyway check out this video that shows your highness eating hot wings and talking hip hop. Via | HotNewHipHop Halle Berry doesn’t remember blowing Nas a kiss or going to a Barbara Streisand concert. Halle Berry hasn’t ever dabbled with music in the past but she’s become one of the most referenced actresses in hip-hop history. Her name’s been dropped by essentially everyone in the game from Outkast, Drake, Ghostface Killah , and more. However, she’s never actually responded to the mentions of her name. In the most recent episode of Hot Ones, Halle Berry sat down with host Sean Evans where the two discussed everything from the Oscars to Catwoman . At one point, Evans did ask Halle Berry about what she thought about her name used in rap lyrics. She explained that she didn’t have a favorite but she’s appreciative that her name is still in the fold and the fact that she’s even remembered. “There’s no way I could pick one. I love all these artists. I’m always flattered whenever any one of them include me and that they still remember me,” she said. “To pick one would be like picking my daughter over my son,” she added. Source: Jerod Harris / Getty In Season 7 of Basketball Wives , a major part of Tami Roman ‘s storyline, aside from arguing with Evelyn Lozada , was her aversion to wanting to get married to longtime boyfriend Reggie Youngblood . She was previously married to former NBA star Kenny Anderson from 1994 to 2001, with whom she shares daughters Jazz and Lyric, and infidelity was a big issue for them. However, the real thing that was holding her back, according to the 49-year-old actress and TV personality, was fear that Reggie would resent her if she didn’t want to go through with trying to have a baby following a few miscarriages. But as it turns out, they must have gotten over that hump because Tami and Reggie went ahead and tied the knot after all. According to The Blast , they secretly tied the knot in Las Vegas the same day they obtained a marriage license, which was on August 17, 2018. Tami and Reggie, that latter of the two being 32, have been dating since around 2013, 2014. When the moment presents itself, we’ll jump out there and do it.” Guess they certainly jumped out there after all. Reggie has been a regular face on Basketball Wives since their relationship became serious. They were also featured on WE TV’s Marriage Bootcamp: Reality Stars where they quarreled over his desire to marry and have a child with her. After working with the experts on the series, she had a change of heart, and while Tami initially wouldn’t do marriage, she started trying to have a child with him. She announced that she was six months pregnant on VH1’s now-defunct Love & Hip Hop Atlanta After Party Live in 2015. A few weeks later, she revealed that she had miscarried. UPDATED: 1:16 p.m. EDT — The NBA franchise co-owner who shoved a rival team’s star player Wednesday night was swiftly punished by the league, according to a new report. But considering the flagrant and angry natures of Mark Stevens pushing Toronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry during Game 3 of the NBA Finals, it was fair to question whether the punishment was adequate. According to Bloomberg , Stevens has been banned from attending any more games this season, which, at the most, are only four more contests this month. But after that, it would appear that Stevens’ punishment ends there. Bloomberg’s report came after NBA star LeBron James demanded Stevens be punished. James sounded off via his Instagram, claiming in part that Stevens “knew exactly what he was doing which was so uncalled for. He knew the rules more than just the average person sitting watching the game courtside so for that Something needs to be done ASAP! A swift action for his actions.” View this post on Instagram There’s absolutely no place in our BEAUTIFUL game for that AT ALL. There’s so many issues here. When you sit courtside you absolutely know what comes with being on the floor and if you don’t know it’s on the back on the ticket itself that states the guidelines. But he himself being a fan but more importantly PART-OWNER of the Warriors knew exactly what he was doing which was so uncalled for. He knew the rules more than just the average person sitting watching the game courtside so for that Something needs to be done ASAP! A swift action for his actions. Just think to yourself, what if @kyle_lowry7 would have reacted and put his hands back on him. You guys would be going CRAZY!! Calling for him to damn near be put in jail let alone being suspended for the rest of the Finals all because he was protected himself. I’ve been quite throughout the whole NBA playoffs watching every game (haven’t missed one) but after I saw what I saw last night, took time to let it manifest into my thinking I couldn’t and wouldn’t be quiet on this! #ProtectThePlayers #PrivilegeAintWelcomeHere A post shared by LeBron James (@kingjames) on Jun 6, 2019 at 9:42am PDT James hinted that the outrage would be much more widespread of Lowry, a Black man, pushed Stevens, a man whose angry facial expression appeared to be fueled by every ounce of his white privilege when he shoved the player for no good reason. Original story: Source: Lachlan Cunningham / Getty T he Golden State Warriors are seeing their chances of winning a third straight NBA championship grow dimmer right before their eyes. That fact was on display for the world to see Wednesday night when the Toronto Raptors traveled to Oracle Arena to defeat the defending champions on their home court in decisive fashion. Source: Lachlan Cunningham / Getty But one person, in particular, had perhaps the most unique vantage point while experiencing that truth when the Raptors’ star guard Kyle Lowry dove into the crowd to save a ball during Game 2 of the NBA Finals . Lowry landed with great force on some of those folks who paid a pretty penny for courtside seats that sometimes can put you right in the middle of game action. That was the case for one white man who happened to be hit by Lowry’s fast-flinging body. But rather than understand that was a possibility with courtside seats, he reacted with anger and violence to Lowry making contact. “How dare he touch me,” that white man looked like he must have been thinking when he pushed Lowry. Kyle Lowry was shaking his head after a courtside fan pushed him when he fell into the crowd. pic.twitter.com/5SwQv3hdnN — NBA on ESPN (@ESPNNBA) June 6, 2019 Well, turns out that man has been identified, and his actions may not seem so surprising when finding out he who he is. According to Axios , he is “ part Warriors owner” Mark Stevens . “The fact it wasn’t just a fan but someone tied to the Warriors significantly ups the stakes,” Axios wrote. Source: Lachlan Cunningham / Getty Stevens at once displayed some of the most entitled white privilege seen in recent months by shoving Lowry, whose hard dedicated play could threaten the part owner’s pocketbook if the Raptors beat the Warriors. “The fans have a place; we love our fans,” Lowry told ESPN . “But fans like that shouldn’t be allowed to be in there, because it’s not right. I can’t do nothing to protect myself.” Source: Ezra Shaw / Getty That commonly known fact to even the average basketball fan was apparently of very little consequence to Stevens, who would later be escorted from the arena that the team he partially owns calls home. Chances are he’s facing a hefty fine from the NBA and major pushback from the league’s players who have as recently as this past season been demanding more protection from overzealous fans who feel entitled because of how close they sit to the game. He still gotta get banned. https://t.co/VvbduOnI8a — David Dennis Jr. (@DavidDTSS) June 6, 2019 Conversely, Stevens’ fellow courtside audience members included none other than recently crowned billionaire Jay-Z and his wife Beyoncé , who were the model of grace (except for that one moment where Queen Bey looked like she was going to snatch the wig off of Becky With The Good Hair — spoiler: she didn’t.) beyoncé’s face when shorty leaned over to talk to jay pic.twitter.com/5PqIhCmgGy — iffy (@somalijawn) June 6, 2019 The news came just days after it was reported that the NBA was moving away from labeling those with major stakes in NBA franchises as “owners.” The racial implication of the loaded term in a league of Black players and white owners was finally being recognized by the NBA. Perhaps Stevens didn’t get the memo. Source: PYMCA / Getty Hip-Hop’s “Henry Hill” ( Goodfellas reference) strikes again as Tekashi 6ix9ine ‘s cooperations with feds done led to yet another guilty plea from one of his former associates. PageSix is reporting that for the second time this week an ex-homie of the “Billy” rapper pleaded guilty to a racketeering charge to a federal judge in Manhattan yesterday (June 5). That brings the total number of ex-Tekashi associates taking plea deals to nine (good thing he was never a Wu-Tang Clan member because it would’ve been a wrap for them after their classic Enter The 36 Chambers ). Butler’s decision to plead guilty to the charge leaves two defendants in the case facing trial — Anthony “Harv” Ellison, a former member of Tekashi’s management team who allegedly beat up Tekashi last year and robbed him for $750,000 worth of jewelry and $20,000 in cash; and another alleged Nine Trey member, Roland Martin. Ever since blowing up with “Gummo” and taking the music millennials by storm in late 2017, rumors began circulating around the hood that Tekashi’s Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods crew was extorting him for his royalties in return for their protection and street services. Once he decided to hold back on some paper he ended up getting taken by his own wolves and unfortunately for him there wasn’t a Liam Neeson in his corner to save him. Since then Feds clamped down on Tekashi and the Bloods crew for a gang of federal offenses. Since then Tekashi’s gone from gangsta rapper to opera singer and basically ended the show for many of his former associates including Kooda B who pled guilty earlier this week for his role in the shooting of Chief Keef and his cousin while he was visiting New York City during the summer last year. Tekashi is said to have paid him $10K in cash for the attempt on Keef’s cousin’s life. Now we wait to see how many more people the feds take down with the high notes that the fat lady’s been providing them with.
Source: ADALBERTO ROQUE / Getty In a move some expected once President Donald Trump took office, the administration is rolling back nearly 20 years of eased travel restrictions to Cuba and banning all cruise ship stops from the United States. The move was enacted to put pressure on Cuban officials and to keep American dollars away from its economy. NPR reports : “This administration has made a strategic decision to reverse the loosening of sanctions and other restrictions on the Cuban regime. These actions will help to keep U.S. dollars out of the hands of Cuban military, intelligence, and security services,” Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said in a statement. Mnuchin, who joined Trump on his first state visit to the United Kingdom this week, added that Cuba, with a population of fewer than 12 million people, “continues to play a destabilizing role in the Western Hemisphere, providing a communist foothold in the region and propping up U.S. adversaries in places like Venezuela and Nicaragua.” U.S. law bars travel to Cuba for tourist activities, but Americans have been allowed to go there under 12 authorized categories, including individual and group “people-to-people” travel — a subcategory of the education provision that permitted visits to the socialist country for cultural and educational purposes. The travel restrictions go into effect on June 5. — Photo: Getty

Source: Chicago Tribune / Getty Jussie Smollett has appeared to hit the end of the road for his time on the hit drama, Empire . After a report went out that the actor would possibly be returning to the series for its final season, Lee Daniels has shut down that plan via Twitter. Deadline reports : “Jussie will NOT be returning to Empire,” Daniels tweeted Tuesday afternoon following reports that the embattled actor’s character Jamal Lyon was being re-worked into scripts for the Fox series. A well-placed source told Deadline today that Smollett’s ongoing legal issues are partly to blame for him remaining on the sidelines. “There are still too many unknowns about what really occurred, why the charges were suddenly dropped and the effect it all has had on Empire for the network or the producers to feel Jussie can slip back into the show,” the individual said. Thus far, Smollett has kept a low profile since the shocking news that all charges were dropped. However, the actor’s ordeal is ongoing as the city is suing him for extending city resource s for the investigation into the alleged staged hate crime. @Variety @JoeOtterson This is not factual. Source: OMAR TORRES / Getty Joaquín Archivaldo Guzmán Loera, better known to the world as El Chapo , won’t be seeing the sun anytime soon after a judge shot down an outdoors rec time quest. Further, Guzman won’t be given access to the general population commissary out of fear items purchases can be turned into weapons. TMZ reports : The former Mexican cartel kingpin recently filed a motion requesting at least 2 hours of outdoors recreation time per week while he’s held in custody at a federal prison in New York, plus access to the general pop commissary so he can buy goodies. Chapo was also looking to get access to some earplugs so he could sleep easy at night and get rid of ear pain he says he’s been experiencing in the joint. Well, a judge didn’t bite on any of it, and his reasoning is pretty damning. First, the court says Chapo’s request for outdoors time is a nonstarter (he’s currently being held under strict restrictions) because the U.S. government’s worried he’ll try to escape again. The outlet adds that El Chapo has been well-behaved while inside the joint, which is probably why he made the request but it’s not foreseeable in the near future. — Photo: Getty
