Steve Harvey Asked To Host Miss Universe Again Next Year Steve Harvey has been getting relentlessly roasted in the days since announcing the wrong Miss Universe winner on live television over the weekend. But as much as Steve has become the butt of millions of memes and jokes and even the subject of racial taunting, his little ratings boost blunder may have translated into more money in the bank for the slandered comedian. The Miss Universe organization has actually asked Steve to host the pageant again next year. Via Deadspin : Steve Harvey has gotten an invitation to return as the host of the Miss Universe pageant next year, despite Sunday’s snafu in which he announced the wrong winner. In an interview today on Jim Rome’s CBS Sports Radio show, Mark Shapiro, Chief Content Officer at WME|IMG, said the Family Feud host was “very remorseful” about the error and that Harvey was “absolutely” welcome back to host the 2016 pageant. Shapiro said Harvey “did a great job. He was funny, he was informative, he’s high energy, he’s got a great following… I definitely want him back, and I would hate to see him not come back. He’s going to want a shot to redeem himself.” In fact, the Belize tourism board even specifically invited him to come redeem himself at their Costa Maya Festival in the upcoming months: Interesting that Belize seems so welcoming when a good chunk of the Latin American community is still coming for Steve’s throat right now… It will be interesting to see how this pans out next year. Kris Jenner Bans Caitlyn From Seeing Saint Kris Jenner apparently isn’t feeling Caitlyn these days . Rumor has it that ever since the Kardashians had an unwelcome intruder stroll into the front door, Kris is keeping tight control on who comes in and out of her house to see Kimmy and the kiddies. According to an insider, she’s also using this as an excuse to get under Caitlyn’s skin by blocking her from coming on the property to see her newest grandson. Via RadarOnline : Kris Jenner has made it crystal clear that her ex is not welcome around their new grandson ! According to a source, Kris, 60, continues to find any way she can to twist the knife with Caitlyn Jenner — but this time she’s hitting the 66-year-old Olympian champ below the belt by banning her from seeing Kim Kardashian‘s brand new baby boy, Saint West. “Kris is the gatekeeper on Kim’s behalf when it comes to appointment times with the baby,” a source told RadarOnline.com. “She’s in charge of who comes and goes.” Unfortunately, continued the source, “As far as Kris is concerned Caitlyn has no business being at Kim’s bedside.” Controlling Kris, noted the source, just “wants the entire family to move on and put Caitlyn behind them.” Kris’s focus on cutting Caitlyn out has put Kardashian, 35, in an uncomfortable position. However, “Ultimately, Kim’s mom will always come first and Kris has really put her foot down,” said the source. “She does not want Caitlyn cooing over Saint, especially if there are cameras in tow.” Seems silly. Surely Kris has control over who comes in her house, but not over who Kim’s kid can and cannot meet. Old Lady Calls 911 On Neighbors Yelling About ISIS During Sex Uh, wow… Via NYDailyNews An elderly Wisconsin woman called the cops on a neighbor Sunday night claiming she heard someone chanting during sex: “ISIS is good, ISIS is great!” The call came from an 82-year-old woman in Brown Deer, WDJT reported. She told cops she was hearing scary things shouted at night from a neighbor in her apartment complex. An officer came to speak with the woman, at which point she claimed the neighbor was chanting about ISIS while doing the deed, Police Chief Michael Kass told the Daily News. Police spoke to no one else in the building, Kass said. The officer could not determine if the Daesh dirty talk had actually happened, but saw no terror threat to investigate. Georgia Contractors Sue Sheree Whitfield For Unpaid Bills RHOA’s Sheree Whitfield has been building her infamous home she dubbed “Chateau Sheree” for about as long as Stevie Wonder has been wearing braids. The AJC now reports that Atlanta contractors are suing the reality star for unpaid bills… We saw the start of the project season four of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” in 2011 before she was cut from the show. On OWN’s “Iyanla Fix My Life” in 2013, life coach Iyanla Vanzant met with Whitfield at the property and used it as a metaphor for her life as being stuck in place. Whitfield has returned season eight as a recurring guest and the mansion is still not finished. In the first episode last month, Kenya Moore, a fellow “Real Housewives of Atlanta” mocked Sheree’s inability to finish it and noted she herself was working on her own fixer upper down the street, which Whitfield called “mold manor.” An Atlanta contractor last week sued Sheree for unpaid bills of about $15,450 and asked for $23,000 after late fees and other charges. So I decided today to check out the project. At least Sheree is now being compensated for her time on “Real Housewives,” though as a recurring character, her salary wouldn’t be nearly as much as if she were a regular. She is also executive producer of a new WE-TV show “Selling it in the ATL” about local real estate agents, which just concluded its first six episode season this past week. A renewal has not been announced. The lawsuit against Sheree, filed December 17, 2015, in Fulton County Superior Court, comes from Stoploss Specialists, which describes itself as an “emergency response contractor.” The company in the lawsuit said it signed a deal with her on December 17, 2014, exactly one year earlier “to supply equipment, labor and/or materials for the improvement” of the property.
