Getty Images Twitter Wants To Keep Miley Cyrus Away From Cardi B Sometime last year, Miley Cyrus turned in her twerking pants to return back to her Southern roots, and she started making non-threatening Country music again. After some photoshoots in a corn field and music that sounds literally the opposite of what she was doing for the longest, the world was convinced that Miley finally gave up on culturally appropriating over Mike Will Made It beats. Though Cyrus did released a cringey “Bodak Yellow” cover last year as well, people were still convinced that she had left hip hop culture for good–but now that idea might be making a total 180. Now, her club appearances and other bookings have been mysteriously getting cancelled right and left, even though she hasn’t publicly parted her lips on the night in question yet. But Jimmy Kimmel is looking to change that. As a matter of fact, he thinks the night of the State of the Union address would be a perfect time to hear what Stormy has to say about what went down between her and y’all’s lil President. The capital city of Afghanistan is reeling in the aftermath of a Taliban-claimed suicide bombing. According to CNN , a driver detonated an ambulance that was filled to the brim with explosives. It’s said that the explosion happened just AFTER the vehicle passed a security checkpoint. That doesn’t seem very…secure. Police are said to have identified the man at a second checkpoint but couldn’t stop hime before the attack. We condemn this terrorist act and share the sorrows and loses of our people. Our priority and focus right now is to help those in need and provide the best treatment for those wounded. This is the moment when we all need to stand together and punch our enemy hard. Teacher In Florida In Hot Water After Supposed “Typo” On Homework A teacher in Florida is catching a lot of heat after what she sent home students with what claims to be a spelling mistake on their homework. The class of 6-year-olds were supposed to be learning how to spell the word “bigger,” but ended up having a spelling sheet with a racial slur on it instead. One child noticed and told her mother, and Terry Day reached out to the Hamilton Elementary School. “I said, ‘Well, you didn’t spell-check your word? You didn’t proofread your word before you sent that out?’ And (the teacher) said, ‘It is a word.’ And I didn’t like the attitude behind that one,’” Day told  WESH 2 . The school issued an apology already, and claims the teacher is extremely remorseful. As for the teacher herself, she reportedly told school administrators that she made the mistake because the letters “B” and “N” are close together on the keyboard…..mhhhmmmmm. Continue reading →

The NYTimes broke news yesterday that Hillz protected a former adviser, Burns Strider, during her 2008 Presidential campaign after he was outed for repeatedly sexually harassing one of his subordinates. Rather than fire the man, as her then campaign managers suggested, Clinton docked the man several weeks of pay and ordered to “counseling” while the his victim was reassigned positions. We’d be remiss to omit the fact that Burns Strider’s official title was “faith adviser”, he is the founder of, wait for it…the American Values Network and sent Hillz bible scriptures every morning. A story appeared today about something that happened in 2008. Presley Ann/Patrick McMullan via Getty Images Rosario Dawson Reveals Her Experience With Sexual Abuse Rosario Dawson , a very vocal supporter of the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements, has recently shared with the world that she herself is a survivor of sexual assault, according to  People . In a recent appearance on the feminist podcast  Morado Lens , Dawson revealed that she experienced sexual abuse as a child. The actress told hosts Cindy Rodrigues and Natalie Fairfan about how the experience altered her perspective on facing similar occurrences as an adult, both inside and outside of the entertainment industry. She explains how her experiences shaped her mindset saying, “I was raped and molested as a child, so for me, the world was like that since I was a child. So when I saw it in the workplace, it wasn’t foreign to me. It was like, well, that even happens within the family. It happens with people that are supposed to take care of you when you’re a child.” Within that same moving episode, Dawson discussed the aftermath of her cousin, 26-year-old Veneza Ines Vasquez’s, sudden death. She found her unresponsive in her home last year, and that experience shifted her outlook on life, making her more grateful than ever. Rosario revealed on he podcast, “Whenever my moment comes, I wanna know that it’s been a good life. I don’t wanna be marinated in the upset, because I have a lot of trauma and sadness to dwell on if I want to. But there’s so much beauty and so many things to be grateful for.
