World Cup 2010, Argentina Vs. South Korea: Higuain Completes Hat-Trick

Four minutes after putting Argentina up 3-1, Gonzalo Higuain has headed home his third goal of the match, giving Argentina a three goal lead with ten minutes left in the match. Another easy finish for the Real Madrid forward, Higuain headed home his hattrick from just outside the six yard box, putting his shot down and across goal, giving goalkeeper Jung Song-Ryung no chance. Higuain was substituted off moments after getting his hat-trick, with Diego Maradona bringing-on Mario Bolatti.

Wimbledon Preemptively Bans World Cup’s Notorious Vuvuzelas From All England Club

It probably went without saying, but Wimbledon organizers felt the need to make this clear: vuvuzelas will not be permitted on the All England Club grounds over the tournament’s fortnight. In a statement, Wimbledon said the noisemakers, which have earned much publicity throughout the World Cup, could be “very distracting to the players and spectators.” Obviously. And thus begins the preemptive banning of vuvuzelas, lest they succeed in their international takeover. When reached for comment, vuvuzelas had the following reply to Wimbledon’s ban: 🙁 bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz less than a minute ago via web Vuvuzela the_vuvuzela Sad emoticon, indeed.
