Source: NBC / Getty The Tonight Show Is Officially Doing A Night In Puerto Rico Jimmy Fallon and his whole crew over at The Tonight Show are all set to hit the road to air a special episode from Puerto Rico on January 15. It will all go down during the 24-show run of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Hamilton on the island, which is going to raise relief funds in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria. The news was announced during an interview with Miranda for Monday night’s episode of The Tonight Show . The January episode–on which Miranda will be a guest, of course–will highlight the nation’s efforts to rebuild after the hurricane that struck the island back in September. The episode is going to feature an exclusive performance of the musical’s new touring cast along with Miranda, who is reprising his lead role in the play Both Fallon and Miranda were ecstatic as they announced the plan on the program last night. Prior to this special performance of the play, Miranda also wrote the book, music and lyrics along with starring in the original, which won 11 Tony Awards and the Pulitzer Price. This isn’t the first time The Tonight Show has taken their live show to the streets and performed in venues outside of the famous 30 Rock. Back in September, Fallon’s late-night show did a live episode from New York’s Central Park. They’ve also done numerous stints on the other side of the country in Los Angeles, California.

Rocco The Parrot Ordered Snacks From Alexa While Owner Was Away We thought this was hilarious! Rocco, an African Grey parrot seems like a real troublemaker. First Rocco was kicked out of a British animal sanctuary for his potty mouth — then after being adopted by a sanctuary owner, the brainy bird was smart enough to figure out how to operate his owner’s Alexa and managed to order snacks like strawberries, watermelon, raisins, broccoli and ice cream before the owner noticed the pending orders and put the child proof controls on to keep Rocco from racking up more charges. That wasn’t all he ordered either — he also asked for a kite, light bulbs and a kettle. According to online reports Rocco lives up to his name too — he likes asking Alexa to play him rock music and the occasional slow numbers. Sounds like a pretty cool pet.

(Photo by Atilgan Ozdil/Anadolu Agency/Getty Images) Modesto Cruz, Bronx Bodega Owner Breaks Silence An owner of a Bronx bodega broke down in tears Friday as he explained that he tried to help the 15-year-old boy, Lesandro Guzman-Feliz, who was hacked to death by alleged gang members at his store last week. Clips floating around online only show a fraction of the actual footage. You can see that the owner did allow Lesandra aka Junior to hide behind the counter and his killers bursted through the door, finding him and dragging him out. Modesto Cruz said he recognized the boy and he looked so scared. He also let everyone know he called 911, clarifying rumors he didn’t. Lastly, the footage everyone is seeing of him telling the bloody boy to “get out”, he says he was telling him to run to the hospital one black away because 911 was taking too long. CH: You’re raising two children of color. Obviously, coming from South Africa, you know a lot about racial inequality, but what are your thoughts on Black Lives Matter and our current climate? CT: Being raised during the apartheid era in South Africa made me so hyperaware of equality and human rights. Of course, I have two black kids, but that was always something I was passionate about. I don’t even know how to talk about the last year under our new administration. But racism is much more alive and well than people thought. We can’t deny it anymore. We have to be vocal. There are places in this country where, if I got a job, I wouldn’t take it. I wouldn’t travel with my kids to some parts of America, and that’s really problematic. There are a lot of times when I look at my kids and I’m like, If this continues, I might have to [leave America]. Because the last thing I want is for my children to feel unsafe. CH: It’s a tough conversation to have. CT: We’re not there yet, but trust me, we talk. I want them to know who they are, and I want them to be so fu***ng proud of who they are. Building confidence for them right now is an oath I made to myself when I brought them home. They need to know where they come from and be proud of that. But they’re going to have to know that it’s a different climate for them than it is for me, and how unfair that is. If I can do something about that, of course I’m going to. It definitely sounds like Charlize is a good protective parent riiiiiight? Have you considered moving because of American racism?
