Knife-Wielding Clown Chases Ohip Teenager From Bus Stop Earlier this week we reported on an incident in South Carolina where a clown was reportedly stalking children from the woods near an apartment building playground. Welp, according to NBCNews , South Carolina isn’t the only place with a killer clown problem… There has been another creepy clown encounter — this time in Columbus, Ohio. A 14-year-old boy heading to a school bus stop Tuesday morning told police he was chased by a black-clad man armed with a knife — and wearing a clown mask, police said. “The victim was able to get away from him by throwing a rock at him,” said police spokeswoman Denise Alex-Bouzounis, who added that police are now canvassing the area in search of the suspect and keeping a close eye on the bus stop in north Columbus near where the incident occurred. “We don’t know whether this was a prank or not, but we are taking it seriously,” she said. The alleged attack on the teenager came as police down in South Carolina were investigating multiple reports of menacing clowns allegedly trying to lure children to an abandoned house in the woods. The power pair attended the match as personal guests of Serena Williams who — of course — won tonight’s match. Via USA Today : Serena Williams is tied with Steffi Graf for most Grand Slam tittles in the Open era, and Thursday night she equaled another legend for most match wins by a female player at the major tournaments. Williams was strong, if not her best, in a 6-3, 6-3 victory over fellow American Vania King, earning her 306th career win at a Grand Slam. That tally pulled her even with Martina Navratilova, who was 306-49 during her career at the majors. With the win, Williams moves to 306-42. “I feel like I made a lot of errors,” said Williams, who appeared frustrated at times in the match. “What really matters is I got the win. Henson is currently taking on the cover of Entertainment Weekly and dishing on her role on “Empire.” According to Taraji as Empire’s third season approaches fans can relate to Cookie because she can be their alter ego. “Cookie has all kinds of fans, all,” says Henson, who nabbed a Golden Globe for the role in January. “I get it. She’s my alter ego — we all need a Sasha Fierce [Beyoncé’s alter-ego].” Furthermore she’s balancing playing Katherine Johnson in “Hidden Figures” and preparing to release a line with MAC cosmetics. Henson, 45, is now poised for the biggest moment of her career with her third Emmy nomination, the third season of Empire (which bows Sept. 21 at 9 p.m.), the release of her memoir, Around the Way Girl (on sale Oct. 11), a new cosmetics line with MAC, and a starring role in the awards-hopeful film Hidden Figures (due this winter), in which she plays real-life NASA mathematician Katherine Johnson. “This is my first time carrying a show and then going to carry a movie,” says Henson. “That’s a lot. It’s so stressful, and I had to really check myself because it’s so easy to take for granted when you get to a certain level.
